2022 GMC Sierra - L87 engine failure with just over 40K miles. It took about a month for the new engine to come in. There were a total of three sitting on the lot with the same issue. The service was done by Bob Ross Buick GMC. While the service advisor was great, there seems to be a communication issue with the warranty department. Per the GMC service Bulletin No.: 07-00-89-037S, "Every attempt should be made to provide the same make/model of vehicle that the customer owns or leases. If this is not possible, upgrades to higher class GM brands should be utilized for customer satisfaction." While I was provided a rental truck, I am now being charged from Enterprise for what the dealership is not willing to pay over the standard rental rate. I've called the dealership several times, and still no results. Best service I have experienced since purchasing my Buick Envision from Bob Ross four years ago. I was greeted by Customer Service Advisor Chris Sharp. Chris was very very welcoming and extremely personable. He promptly had all the necessary paperwork completed and ready for my signature. Within the hour the work was completed and I was happily on my way. After barely being able to tolerate some previous advisors, this was a pleasant change. Very bad experience with GMC service here. Brought truck in for new brakes and to take care of all recall items. Received a call saying they recommend a flush of all old brake fluid and also an injector cleaning. I agreed and 6 hours later get a call saying they need to replace axle seals for the discounted price of $600!!!! I declined and was hung up on ! I never received a call to come pick it up so about 5:45 I called to check and was told "its ready but we are only here until 6 ! I think the reason I never got a call is because I declined the axle seals. I bought my truck here and not only will I not ever go back for service or to buy a new truck. Bought a Buick here last week. I was not impressed with them at all, but I bought the car because my wife loved it. They didn't clean the interior or fill the tank. They didn't give me a spare key, so I called and asked them if they would program me some spares if I ordered them online. Well, after ordering the spares and making an appointment with them, they call me back and tell me they will only cut and program the keys if I buy from them and they want $120 a key. I made an appointment a few weeks ago to get my transmission fluid changed and my belt replaced(cracks, but no squeaking or slipping). I took it in and my belt was replaced first. Then the customer service rep came to tell me that my car takes a special fluid and they did not have it in stock and would have to go get it. After waiting for awhile, he came back and told me they still didn't have it and it would take awhile before they had it. I decided to wait. The fluid was finally changed. I went home and didn't drive my car that day. The next day while I was driving, my belt started slipping and squeaking. It continued throughout the day so I called the service department and spoke to a service technician. He told me to wait until the next day as it could be due to the rainy weather. The next day, the slipping and squeaking continued throughout the day. I called back and left a message for the service technician. The technician called back. He wanted me to drop off my car and leave it until the next week because they were busy and he wasn't sure what the problem was. I asked if he had a car to loan me, and he said they didn't have one. He said the shuttle could take me home. I told him I had a lot of things to do and had to work. He finally said I could bring it in the morning and he would look at it to see how bad it was and go from there. My husband suggested to me that I call another auto repair shop and get their advice. They said that they either put the wrong belt on or they broke my tensioner. My husband looked at the belt that was put on and looked online. Sure enough, the belt they put on was not made for my car. I printed out the information on that belt and the correct belt to be used. I called them back to let them know that the wrong belt was put on my car. I went back the following morning. The customer service rep said he didn't know they put the wrong belt on, but then he came back and showed me the different belt he said they got last night. After they started working on my car he came up and told me my tensioner needed to be replaced . I told him before I brought my car in, there was nothing wrong with my tensioner as my previous belt did not slip or squeak. He said he would have to charge me for the tensioner, but there would be no charge for the service. I shouldn't have been charged at all because my tensioner wasn't broken before I brought it in. Wouldn't they have told me that the first time I brought it in. Nobody from service came to talk to me or apologize. When I was getting ready to leave the customer service rep apologized for the 'debacle' that I had to endure. read more

I suggest you read all negative reviews I contacted gem I contacted the bbb about this dealership a vehicle I purchased didn't last 2500 miles before allegedly the head gasket blown I question the accuracy of the diagnosis since there was no signs of blown head gasket. Second they stuck me with 5000 negative equity on vehicle plus I refinanced 2 weeks later at better interest rate and 1 year less. I FOR WARN YOU TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. I HAVE TWO FREE OIL AND TIRE ROTATION and I will not be taking advantage because this is a very questionable garage. Amazingly I know someone who had the exact same problem with them. The collision center seemed to be friendly and helpful on the phone when I called to see if I could come in for an estimate on my car that needed repairs after a fender bender. The gentleman told me to just come by anytime and that they work with my insurance, etc. So I show up to get an estimate and immediately the gentleman working that day seemed to be bothered that I was there for an estimate. We went outside to my car so he could look it over and that is when the rude comments began. I was first told the "knowledge is power" which I wondered if this was something he had heard on School House Rock. But then he says you should really know your policy and then said "you would probably need a lawyer to be able to understand it." I was shocked and didn't know how to respond. Yes, I might be a woman but I'm educated and I pay my insurance each month and I do know what my full coverage entails. He then once again starts saying "knowledge is power." He must've said this ten times at least in our conversation. Then he started saying that he has seen a lot of lawsuits with people and their insurance companies, etc etc etc. He told me that last thing I would want to do is sue my insurance. As if he was trying to scare me but my car has front corner damage...this is not a HUGE repair. He then stated that getting numerous estimates was a waste of my time. Which I have to get an estimate through my insurance company and then I can go anywhere I want. I was planning to get an estimate here and then have it repaired here. We went inside for him to write up the estimate. When he was done, he came out and handed it to me, told me the total and that was it. I had to be the one to ask if I wanted to schedule it what I needed to do. If you don't want my business which was a guaranteed $2,000.00. And most of that being labor and their profit on the parts. If Bob Ross wants to advertise estimates on their site and say they will review it with you and answer any questions.....then do your job. I will be taking my business elsewhere and the business that I would give your service department in the past will be given to another business that is happy to have customers and make them feel comfortable. read more

This dealership is very unprofessional. The manager Steve is very rude to customers. I got service here and they never fixed my car properly. I had to take it back for the same job more than once and they kept trying to charge me for the same job over and over. The entire staff is incompetent and rude. I will never return to this location and will never buy another Buick again based off my experience with this dealership. The workers Bob Ross GMC service department are incompetent and deceptive. I took my Yukon in for routine maintenance (belts, hoses and radiator flush), and I was told by my adviser that my steering rod and oil cooling line was in need of replacement. I took his advice and had all the items serviced. The adviser failed to inform me that my air shocks were leaking and my alignment was out of specification. I found this out when I took the Yukon on the highway; it pulled heavily to one side and the steering wheel had a severe vibration. When I returned to the shop with the Yukon, I was informed that my tires were "torn up" and that I did not have a problem with my shocks even though the compressor kept turning on more frequently. I made a complaint to the management without much success, and reported this problem with GMC and did receive $100 certificate for future repairs. I have not and will probably not use this certificate. Quite frankly, I do not trust Bob Ross service department. Since that time, I had the Yukon repaired at a different shop and now seems to run fine. Bob Ross GMC advisers allowed me to drive out their service department with improper repair and failed to diagnose correctly on my SUV. They should be ashamed to call this "certified service." I do not recommend this dealership for any repair. read more

I stopped in to talk to sales person about ordering a truck. I wanted a SLT with Technology package. Unfortunately they are not offering this package anymore for 2021. I asked about possibly finding a 2020 with the equipment I wanted. Sales person stated nothing available. So I went home and did some research on GMC.com. I found the color I wanted with technology package at a dealership in Detroit MI. I sent an email with this information to sales person. He stated they would check into it for me. They didn't hear from dealer that was expecting to receive new truck I wanted. He emails me back and stated they did not hear back and asked me when do I want to order the vehicle we built. I thought it was very unprofessional and will not go back to Bob Ross. You would think they would contact the dealership in Michigan at least one more time. I will not go back even for a oil change. If this sales associates would have looked up my information up he would have found that I had purchased 4 new trucks from them starting from 1998. read more

I was travelling from Colorado to North Carolina and needed an oil change and add DEF for my 2015 GMC 3500. I made an appointment for the service which was completed on time. The service advisor caught the mistake of the technician of not filling the DEF. However, in the process the technician spilled DEF all over the engine compartment and made no attempt to clean it up. He also left his greasy fingerprints on the door and smudge marks on the hood near the place to add the DEF. So, I called and said I wanted to complain. I was transferred to the service manager and left a message on his vm. After 24 hours, I called again and left another message. Shortly thereafter the service advisor called. He apologized for their sloppy work and told me the technician was talked to. He then offered to make it better on my next trip. But, since I'm from Colorado, a next trip is quite unlikely. So, since I was not coming back, tough luck for me on any financial redress which was especially frustrating since their charge for this service was at least 25% higher than the other six times I've had this service performed at other GMC dealers. So, being a loyal GM customer doesn't count unless you are loyal to this dealership. Such a disappointment. As we lived nearby for over 10 years, it is sad to see this business fall so far. read more

Let me save you the time and say just go somewhere else. I saw a certified used Chevy Tahoe on their website, called first to make sure it was there before driving up from Cincinnati. The SUV was there waiting for me but they don't really want to sell the cars. Their offer to me was for full sticker price on their Tahoe while lowballing my trade at 3/4 what Kelly Blue Book said the "trade in" value in "good" condition for my Mazda CX-9 was worth. Why even waste my time if you're saying your used car is worth top end but my trade isn't even on the lowest end of the KBB value. I would love to be the bank that provides these clowns with their dealer floor plan financing as there's no way they move many cars quickly on their lot with this pricing, and that equates to more interest payments on their inventory that they finance to buy & sell vehicles. Thank you, Bill Sweatt, used car sales and whoever your sales manger was for wasting my time and gas driving to and from Centerville & Morrow today. There's over 100 other Tahoes I can go look at and thanks to Hertz needing to liquidate some rental cars and the 2021 models coming out to push the 2020 models more aggressively you're welcome to keep your 2017 Tahoe.
