Mochi donuts tend to be a little lighter, chewier and less sweet because of the use of rice flour in the batter, but these have such elaborate toppings - from cannoli to Kit Kat to cheesecake - they are plenty rich! The name has changed from when it first opened, I think - the sign now says MochiCo - and it opens late morning, which seems a little odd for a donut shop, but I'll eat a donut anytime, so I'm fine with it. They also have a wide selection of Bober teas, which I'm eager to try. The woman behind the counter says the donut flavors change every two weeks "and keep getting better." I believe her.

The tea was just ok, not particularly fragrant. As a counterpoint, my partner got the Oreo wow milk drink with the brown sugar boba which was perfect in texture. Oddly enough, while the prep area is topped with glass, presumably to allow customers to watch the drink-making magic happen, they have written to not stare at them.
