The #7 is pudding (flan), milk shave ice with mochi balls. The mochi is so soft and smooth, yet chewy. The custard is super delicious and greatly enhances the shave ice. The custard is definitely my favorite! The chocolate syrup is a nice addition to the milk shave ice too, as it's not too overpowering. Although the service is a bit serious sometimes, I would not describe it as bad. Instead I'd just describe it as neutral and straightforward. Recently I was struggling to figure out how I'd carry 3 shave ice bowls for my friends and I back up the stairs to the Aiea Bowl parking lot without help, and the worker at the window offered me a box to put it in! So even though I feel judged sometimes, I'd say overall the service is still good. The new buzzer system is also helpful. The menu is nice and simple with the pictures in the window, and although it's just window service and you can't eat inside like you used to, I think that's completely fine, as it's nice to enjoy shave ice on a hot day. My personal favorite is the cookie butter cup of strawberries! You really get the most for your money with the cups, BUT there is appeal to the trays as well. You ARE looking at a bit of an expensive treat when shopping here, but honestly, the quality and quantity are worth it. Especially if you join the rewards program!

Since it was a common order maybe they waited to see if someone else ordered that? That kind of service really stands out. They definitely did not need to do that, and it made a big difference, especially since I was trying to eat quickly before going into work.
