There wasn't really much service because they even note to cut down on cost and to pay their team more. The service is self order kiosk. Our friends came here as there was a coupon and it was a buy one get one free. They have quite a selection of toppings, which is really awesome and their drinks come with a really cute saying on top cover. I really love that the ceiling had these flowers and it was really cute but alas, a little cramped! The drinks, however, were just terrible in my opinion. Parking is easy is in this shopping area; there's also a huge parking lot across the street if this one fills up. The service here was so friendly and quick. Stopped by for something sweet after dinner. I got a Slushie with a few different flavors and my sister got a milkshake. They do not use fresh fruit though- so the Slushie tasted a bit artificial. My sister got an oreo milkshake because the fruit flavors had red-40, etc in them. They have a big menu of different beverages and food items. Croffle's were sold out but would love to try one! We got the regular boba and custard pudding as a topping. Both were delicious! Also ordered their croffle (croissant dough in a waffle press) with powdered sugar and chocolate topping. Sweet Boba Co. is an okay boba tea spot. I ordered 2 jasmine milk teas - one with 50% sweet and the other with 70% sweetness. The odd thing was that with less sweetness also came less milk - which is strange. (typically a 50% sweetness would be the same amount of milk as a regular drink with less sweetness). The 50% sweet milk tea was mostly tea and still had a bitter flavor due to the lack of milk. The 70% sweet one was sweeter (as expected), but also was milkier. The boba was great texture wise, but lacked the sweetness and depth of flavor from my experience at other spots. If you get less sweetness, just a heads up to try it first then go to the barista to make additional changes. I would say this place does have nice staff and a variety of add-ons for drinks including jelly, pudding, etc. that you can see on display. read more

Stopped by Sweet Boba Company while running errands and decided to try their coffee--probably not the best idea since it's clearly more of a tea-focused place. The place itself is cute and the staff were nice, so no complaints there. I got the House Coffee...and asked for 25% sweeten. The "barista" said 25% would barely taste the coffee so I was confused. The coffee was just okay, nothing special, but not terrible either -- barely a hint of coffee. If you're coming here, definitely stick to the boba or milk teas--that's what they do best. Kids wanted Thai tea and we tried the green Thai tea which was slightly different but surprisingly good as well. Boba shops are hard to have a wow factor as there are so many options and nothing stands out but this location definitely stands up to the name. They have a few snack options for purchase as well. I like the placement of this location. It sits on the intersection of Orangethorpe and Harbor and the ambiance of the place is really nice... modern music mixed with a nice floral aesthetic. The guy behind the counter was really cool about giving me suggestions and the overall experience was quick and easy. I really appreciated the care to maintain a great level of customer service so I took my parents here last night as a dessert treat for their anniversary. The new staff was very pleasant and friendly, and the drinks were delicious! I'm very happy to see the quality of the drinks and staff going back to what it used to be! The only thing keeping it from being five stars is that they were significantly slower than most places, but I would rather have a slow pace with the friendly customer service, than have drinks made quickly with an unpleasant staff As we were finishing our drinks, the place became extremely crowded (more than I have ever seen it) and I was so happy to see that! I ordered a Thai tea through ClassPass and unfortunately didn't enjoy the drink. When I asked if anything could be done, the response I received was, "I don't know what to tell you, dude." From the moment I walked in, I did not feel welcomed or treated kindly. What was especially disappointing was hearing comments implying that because the order was through ClassPass, it somehow mattered less since it wasn't "real money." It was still money I spent, and I simply didn't like the drink. Even if you chose not to replace it, I believe customers should still be treated with respect rather than made to feel like they are asking for something for free. I have noticed that they have gotten popular there's always a line but plenty of seating. A lot of students come here to study with lots of bright lighting.
