4-Stars for Good Coffees but not the price.. 1-Star for the price I got a SMALL drink and it was almost $10.. you can get a meal with that next door at Noodles N Company.. AsK yourself... If it cost more than A small specialty drink from Starbucks it is it still worth it? The prices in this coffee shop makes Starbucks coffee prices look cheap.. There are better coffee shop out there that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.. We decided to come since it was one of the few boba tea shops nearby to Carol Stream. Inside it looked clean and organized. I got the brown sugar lava milk with coconut pudding. (The one on the left). We didn't sit down and drink since it looked like the other tables were occupied. Prices were reasonable for medium and large. I didn't see an option but you can request to have it less sweet like 50%. I think at 100% it was too sugary for me. Still, quality is good and the service was very friendly. Bubble tea that's as good as the best of all the bubble tea shops that have opened in the last few years in the western suburbs. I'd just given blood next door (which, by the way: save a life, give blood) and what you have to do after giving blood is stay hydrated and have a snack. With Boba House here, now I can do both! I tried to sit and think about my order, but a huge group came in about a minute after I walked in, so I went to my go-to: Taro with tapioca. The tapioca is extra, which is a little bit sad, but they also have pudding and jelly if you prefer that instead of bubbles (each add-on extra). Also, the milk tea is dairy-free. Thanks fellow Asians. The best taro bubble teas have the earthy taro flavor in perfect balance with the milk tea, and this was no exception. Surprisingly good! Note: Ube is different from Taro (ask because it's off the menu). Milk tea tastes authentic to me. The salted cheese foam topping is a bit on the saltier side so be prepared--make sure to mix thoroughly (which they tell you to). The tapioca isn't the best I've ever had but it's decent, and at least definitely better than competitors down the street. Fair prices. Great customer service! Clean, light and airy space with modern decor. Happy to have a legit boba shop nearby now in the Bloomingdale/Hanover Park/Carol Stream area that is a 10-15min drive from Bartlett. I plan to come back and try other flavors. I'd love to see Black Sesame and Red Bean options added to the menu in the future. read more

Boba House is definitely not your average boba place, it's a hidden gem with some of the most delicious drinks I ever had! The decor is so adorable, they even have a full body mirror for people to take cool pictures. I love the staff, very small and close knit like a family, they are all so friendly and welcoming. They make the funniest advertisement which definitely does the job of promoting their business. I believe this place just opened 2 weeks ago. The inside is soooo cute! It's definitely an aesthetically pretty place with chill vibes to grab boba and hang out with your friends. They have comfy seating too!! I got the honey lavender milk tea and it is super yummy! Not an overwhelming taste but just enough flavor to enjoy it. It doesn't taste artificial either. The boba is amazingly soft, like the softest boba I've ever had. There were only 2 people working, one was doing the register and one making the drinks, obviously there's a tiny wait but it's absolutely worth it!! They're just doing their best and it definitely shows!! Be patient and show them love because they're doing an amazing job. read more
