We got milk tea with red bean, and wow(!!!) I was blown away. Didn't realize this combination would taste so good. Never got this combination before, so it was a surprising hit. 100% sugar worked for me here. Sweet but not too sweet. Our kids, on the other hand, got the peach yakult with mango boba and we will not be getting this again. Yakult on its own is super sweet already. It was so sweet that my three kids said they enjoyed it but only managed to finish half the cup before saying they were done. They were all sharing one cup, too. My kids got the peach yakult with mango boba - I probably wouldn't get this again since it was a bit too sweet and artificial-tasting, but I think it would probably be the case anywhere, I just hadn't had it before. The size is decent for the price - I would recommend getting large since it's 50% bigger for only $1 more at the moment. I'd stick with the classic milk tea here going forth. read more

Cute store in a strip mall with a few tables. Seems under appreciated so I'll be adding my support here! Good variety of drink options. The signature milk teas are all non-dairy based. They also have fresh milk based drinks, fresh/fruit teas, foam topping, yakult, and smoothies. There's even a soy milk drink with soy milk pudding! Most drinks have 1 topping included in the pricing and with the sky rocking boba prices nationwide, their prices are much more affordable. You can add more toppings for extra fees, lots to pick from. The store also offers ice cream and ice cream based desserts (aka milk shake type). They also have whole ice cream cakes, cute coconut milk puddings of various flavors (peach, taro, etc), tiramisu, slices of cake, mochi, etc. I got a brown sugar crystal agar signature milk tea to save for the next day (crystal agar doesn't harden in the fridge as much as regular tapioca pearls) and a peach coconut pudding. Wow!!! This place is definitely a hidden gem in Glendale Heights. I wish I would've visited this place sooner so they can take all my money. The service is quick and on point since you have every customization option at your fingertips through the kiosk. Everything from the amount of sugar, ice level, amount of boba and flavors into your drink. The entire store is very clean and many cartoon characters placed around the store. Finally a Boba place in the neighborhood. They have been open for a little over two weeks. The staff is super friendly & service was fast. The time I went wasn't busy but if it is busy, they prefer customers to use the kiosk for credit card payments. Otherwise the front counter is where to order if you are paying with cash. Very clean and bright environment! Some of the items are not ready yet to order but I'm sure they will be soon! I ordered the Ginger milk tea with lychee and Milk tea with lychee. Freshly made! Brought a friend who had never had boba before and I admit I was nervous because abuse I had never been to Boba Calico... but wow! So blown away. I ordered a passion fruit tea, my husband got the Thai tea, and my friend got the brown sugar (all with tapioca as the topping). Tapioca pearls were the right balance between squishy and firm, and the milk teas were flavorful and just the right sweetness (we all ordered 100% sweetness). If you look around you will see the space has a lot of menus and the variety is amaaaazing! We already want to come back and check out some of the food/dessert items they had. Inside it feels like a normal, cozy coffee shop.
