The boba tea here is good. This was my first time trying a pineapple flavored fruit tea and it did not disappoint. They have a decent selection of different types of boba tea, so you should find something you like. The service was ok, but not bad. The restroom was clean. The only downside was that there were several boxes in the walkway leading to the restroom. I'm not sure if they recently opened the location but it took away from the appearance. We are super happy to see a Boba place so much closer to downtown, we usually have to drive 20 minutes to the nearest shop. My partner ordered a strawberry slush with boba. I got taro mixed with cookies and cream slush with custard. The lady who made it forgot to add the custard at first but was nice to add it to my drink. Our only complaint is that the slush melts super quick. We have had other boba slush drinks and they last longer before becoming a full liquids. My taro was served and already had a puddle of liquid on top. Once we got home, which is like a 7 minute drive. My partner was half liquid and half slush and it seemed like the ingredients were separating. We like it for the convenience of being close. read more

I'm very happy Boba King decided to open up so close to both my home and the area that I work in. My girlfriend and I decided to come here last week for a quick beverage fix and the place was pretty packed when we arrived, which is awesome for any new business. The menu here is full of milk tea, slushes, and honey tea which all have a very good amount of flavours. I ended up going with an orange slush with boba which is great because usually orange is a flavour a lot of the boba places I've been too seem to ignore. The staff was pretty busy with the giant order below ours but they still managed to get the drinks out pretty quickly and soon enough my thirst was quenched and I was on my way. Although the orange slush wasn't the most flavourful thing I've ever had, it was thirst quenching and did taste good for what it was, the tapioca also added something to it as well (I mostly just like chewing on them). Overall, I enjoyed my trip to Boba King and I will absolutely be coming back in this future, especially when I'm working. Very spacious establishment, just surprised there's no indoor seating. But i can understand with covid they're probably avoiding that right now. I've only ever tried one drink here which is a Taro slush with boba, so this won't be a good review if you're reading this looking for opinions on multiple drinks. However, the drink I do get has so far always been good. My only complaint so far here is with my one experience of them not being accommodating with me. I ordered my usual drink and then ordered some custard pudding but asked if it could be put on the side. I don't like it to be in my drink because it often clogs up my straw and I can't enjoy it until the very end when there's no slush left. She just tells me "we can't do that". I don't understand why not considering I'd be paying for it. I wasn't asking for it for free or anything. Are there no side cups? If not that's fine. They could at least put it in a regular sized cup and I'm fine with paying for the cup if that's the issue with giving sides. Overall I would recommend it here if you're in the area. read more

First time at this location...we got there around 8:54 beacuase we were looking for boba around the area and went to "No.1 boba" around 8:50 but they were closed when it clearly says they close at 9pm... Anyways, we decided to run to boba king cause they also close at nine. But we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. The girl at the register is adorable. She's super nice and friendly..thank you so much for taking care of us. Even though we were there after nine. Great service and delicious drink. Thank you guys!!!. By the way, the machine broke last minute and she was still being amazing to us and still making drinks for us!!! Some respectfully submitted recommendations: I would love to see seating return, a better tea brew (the tea can often be really tangy and almost like it's over-brewed or using the same Thai tea base for everything), boba cooked in brown sugar, and sealed plastic tops so you don't spill on yourself. read more

When I went up to order the sweet employee was uplifting and kind. I ordered a Honeydew Boba and also an passion fruit boba... no other details. The drink was good. I ordered the iced chai tea with boba. Only thing was the drink was pretty warm and didn't cool down until half way through. Also, it was slightly awkward when I entered. I accidentally walked in three minutes early not realizing they opened at 12. (I got there at 11:57 and they opened at 12.) nobody was in site, one person peaked his head out from the back and said he'd be right with me. (No mention that I was a little early and they were just opening for the day.) then a second person walked in through the door, and as he was walking around the counter he said "what time did you get here?" Which was such a weird greeting, I half thought he was expecting me to be working. It was an odd welcome. Then I said, what? Because I was very confused by his question. Then he said "We don't open until 12." Then he looked at the clock and realized it was 12 so then he was friendly. It was really uncomfortable. They need to post the hours more visibly on the door if they don't want walk ins before they open. 12 is a late opening time, so it should be understood people may accidentally walk in if the door is unlocked around that time since most people wouldn't think a business was still closed at 11:30. I suggest that if you have a customer accidentally walk in just a few minutes before opening (due to unlocked doors and hours not easily seen), you should welcome them as opposed to putting them on the defensive. read more

employees are negligent and rude. i asked if the non-dairy creamer contained milk derived products and the barista laughed in my face and said "it's non-dairy." i asked if she would check as non-dairy creamers are legally allowed to contain a certain amount of dairy derived ingredients, and she laughed at me again and asked if i wanted the drink or not. i asked if it could be made with almond milk (which they do offer) and she again laughed at me and asked if i wanted the drink or not. i ended up paying for it, then asked the other employee if i could read the ingredients on the non-dairy creamer they used. he politely obliged, and it does indeed contain dairy derived ingredients and was not safe for me to consume. this is a serious problem for people with severe allergies, and should be treated as such. this is not the first time this has happened to me while asking questions about ingredients here, and after this i will not be returning to this location as i do not trust the employees here to make my drink correctly and safely. read more
