Took my niece shopping and she talked me into a boba. Historically, the texture is too much for me. She encouraged me to try this because we could get them blended into a smoothy. However, upon standing there I decided to roll the dice. I ordered the "kiss" size (smaller) "Cream de la Cream" which is a coffee flavored boba. I ordered it iced with 2 scoops of boba. You can get it blended, no ice, and their menu go from creamy to tropical and everywhere in between. There is a self-serve check out or workers who will walk you through the drinks and describe them with you. It's in the mall, so expect it to be busy. We went on a Saturday, so it was a bit hectic, the trash was a bit overfilling outside their stand, but regardless I found myself searching to get all the boba! I loved it. I don't think it's a place you can sit, chill, or relax around but you can get a killer boba! I'm converted. 10/10 read more

Boba Tea Company has several locations across a few states, but I love that they started right here in Albuquerque. They serve consistently good boba and a wide variety of drinks. I've tried many of their menu items over the years, and the quality has always been solid. The service is fast and friendly, and the decor and logo give the place a cool, modern vibe. I am so glad that I visited this place. The boba drink was so creamy and refreshing. I ordered the polar baby. Their names are so unique and cute. It had beautiful notes of almond as well as vanilla. It's located but the shopping mall. Unfortunately you have to enter the mall to place your order. It's always busy so expect to wait, the Boba is usually made perfect! Don't go toward the end of their store hours the Boba was undercooked when we ordered around that time. Other than that this place is our go to! I was skeptical about Boba Tea Company at first bc in the past, their line wasn't that long. But now that it's been a year, the mall has gotten crowded and the line is always long! I even asked others about it and they say their drinks are pretty sweet. I'm not for overly sweet drinks, but I gave it shot anyway. My BIL gifted me a drink with creamy matcha and boba. It was a different matcha flavor than I'm used to, not that bitter, but overall pleasant. The cup was a Size Smooch (Large 24oz). They put way too much ice, that was filled half way in my cup. This visit, I ordered their Bombshell with Lychee nunu (jelly), Rose Gobi (juice poppers - limited edition) and boba (dark tapioca pearls). All of their drinks include 2 scoops of 'bottoms'. I used to be intimidated by their menu bc they use their own language like Starbucks. But while waiting in line, I took a gander at their online menu. I started to understand it better. Their website was lacking, but still was easy to maneuver for online ordering. Before I was about to check out online, I was next. Online said in order to join their rewards, you have to ask the clerks at the store. So I ordered with the clerk instead and joined. When joining their rewards, you're able to get a coupon for $7 off your next drink. Love free stuff! After paying for my drink, I noticed it was cheaper compared to the online order. My Smooch Bombshell with 3 toppings came out to be $7.29 vs $7.95 after tax online. Idk why that is. I think it's cool that they give you a # receipt to pick up your order. The preparer also asked if I wanted the whipped cream on top, which was nice. It comes with it, but it's nice to be asked as an option. Overall, great experience despite how busy it was. The clerks were nice and patient. The drink was definitely different from what I'm used to seeing at boba shops. It's very futuristic like with their own branding and language. Bombshell was sweet, semi fizzy and creamy. The toppings were fun and the boba was fresh, warm, soft and chewy. I finished all of my drink with lots of toppings left at the bottom. They didn't fill it with too much ice this time, which was nice. More drink. I'll just add another drink to finish off the rest of my toppings at home. read more

First time ever trying Boba tea company here at Coronado mall. So many choices from teas to smoothies. You can pick quite a few things to make your boba tea more delicious. They offer choices like creamy, fizzy and caffeinated. Also as far as the boba goes they have a handful of choices there too. Gobi which are these poppers that have juice in them, your basic boba flavor and nunu which are gummies. I went for a taste of a classic, Thai iced tea with boba. Honestly I've had better Thai iced tea from elsewhere. This tea had no real flavor just mostly the half and half. But the boba was pretty tasty. I am obsessed with their boba and their friendly faces that greet me when I finally get to the front of the line! I just recently got the Marilyn Mon-Rose and it has to be one of the most interesting boba i've ever tasted (definitely recommend!) Most of the times the line is crazy long but it works out with being surrounded by an entire mall. They have a good setup of mobile orders, self checkout kiosk and regular lines. The regular line is a little slow depending on the rest of the people there, so i suggest either getting the app or using to the self service kiosk! read more

Beverages were good. But customer service was horrible. Their cashier got our order and the blonde lady making our drink cleared the order then we told her our order and she got one drink wrong. When we told her she thru the beverage and was slamming the blender and materials. If your in the business to service customers learn to treat customers well specially when it's your error. I'm from Southern California so I suppose I'm a bit spoiled in terms of the quality of boba I've had but this place is ridiculously awful. I had to settle for my THIRD choice, Tara, since they didn't have the ingredients to make my first two choices. The drink came with two bottoms so I requested a boba and lychee. When I received my drink, they forgot the boba. Thankfully they were able to correct that and that's the only reason why they have two stars instead of one. I was hoping the drink would be worth the trouble but it turned out to be the blandest bubble tea I've ever had. I couldn't even finish past 2 sips. This place drops a dry desert twist on some Taiwanese classics This location is inside of the mall, almost mid pac between the food court and the rest of the mall. It's probably one of the easier places to spot especially with the long lines that are consistently at the location. Shopping for 5+ hours this place had a steady steam of people with lines of at least 8+ people Service was decently paced after ordering, my drink popped out 3-5 minutes later. They are really pushing drinks here Starbucks style and it's a dog eat dog world at least at this location. The tops to the drinks will be slightly warm from the machines and the cups will be cool. Flavor wise this place is interesting... This place tries to pizzaz up the drinks with fancy names and flavors and matchups. The names are pretty corny and cheesy. You won't find your normal milk tea with egg custard pudding here. The flavors are super Americanized and really sweet atleast for my taste buds. It's almost the equivalent of the Starbucks frap. They load up the drinks with sugar taking away from the natural goodness of what the drink should be. But they sure do know they audience since the lines are packed. The classics are gone like Jasmine tea and custard puddings replaced with fancy creams and more texture neutral additions. They do make some mean boba though nice and chewy and soft. Price wise they seem to have followed the Starbucks model of being a bit overpriced. But this could simply be because it's harder to get some of the ingredients further from the coast. Overall: this place is good. It gives people who may have never tried boba before a drink which they will find familiar but strange. To those who like this classic flavors and additions this place will probably not be your cup of tea as it it was not mine. But if you got some inland friends who have never tried this far east drink the this place probably won't be a bad stop. That being said, their was a small misunderstanding with the cashier. She thought I wanted to use a $10 credit from my birthday, when I had, in fact, asked to purchase a $10 gift card. Because of this small error, I had to make a second transaction. I think the employee was new though, so it was no harm done. I wasn't in any rush anyway. Boba Tea is the Starbucks of bubble tea---turning a regular old drink into a craze complete with ridiculous prices that people somehow justify, myself included occasionally. Just for some contrast, I used to get bubble teas for $2 in Chinatown in New York City. Boba Tea will give you the same quantity made from most likely the same damn ingredients (powdered flavor, milk, and taro balls) for $5+. It's absurd and I am always hesitant to buy from here, but when in the mall and assaulted by the smells of crappy pretzels and such, this is the best bet as a thirst-quencher and fix for that sweet tooth. Indeed, some of the flavors here are outrageously good (and overly sweet) and are always enjoyable, I just hate myself every time I spend a person's daily income on a sweet tea with chewy balls in it. Wow! If it was appropriate to leave a one word review, "wow" would be it. To be clear, i DO NOT like cold tea. My daughter has been talking about bubble tea and I was basically forced to take her. Since I was clueless to the Bubble tea world, the young lady at the counter cheerfully walked me through the ordering of my bubble tea. I ordered a "blended" tea with passion flavored "gobi" which are called "bottoms" because they are delicious bubbles of fruit juice that rest on the bottom of your beverage. Let me just say: this drink really hit the spot. It's a sensory adventure, albeit not visually appealing, the cut has a cute lid thats sealed on before it's given to you with a giant straw to poke through the top (the large straw is required to got those delicious bubbles of joy from the bottom of the cup. It was cold and refreshing, fruit and delicious. There was a hint of tea, but barely noticeable. Bubble tea does not exist for nutrition, it's a treat for sure. The staff was SUPER nice and helpful. The facility was clean and organized. The line was long (for obvious reasons) but moved very quickly. I was impressed and now want to try all of the flavors and "bottoms". I just visited this location and it was such a let down... I ordered two drinks at 432 and didn't receive it until 457. There were 5-6 employees on staff and they work with hardly any sort of efficiency. I don't know what there protocol is in maintaining their establishment and serving customers, but if you have a crowd of people waiting for drinks they've ordered and purchased, it should be "all hands on deck!" Instead two staffers worked on breaking down and cleaning up, while the crowd watched the other staff chat lackadaisically and slowly work their way thru the orders. If I had any confidence that a refund would be easy I would've just requested one. It's doubtful I'll return to this location. If Starbucks can get there orders out in 5-7mins, I don't understand why I wanted nearly 30mins for a My Thai. read more

This place is mainly for looks. Boba tea is suppose to taste yummy and sweet. With soft semi sweet boba. The tea tasted old, some of my boba was hard! I didn't get a chance to tell them. I got a Tickle Me with strawberry Gobi today, and a friend of mine got a My Thai blended with boba. The green tea in the Tickle Me tasted burnt and the drink had too little flavor for the strawberry and kiwi added in. The My Thai had an unusual nutty after taste, and the boba was too chewy and tasted like an old batch. Service was quick for the amount of customers and polite, but the drinks were not really up to par. read more
