I've gone here for a long time and I love BOBA! This review isn't about the fact that they haven't…read morehad any boba's the last few times I've been in. I totally get that. Some stuff is just hard to come by these days. However, when I was there I saw this kid with bleached hair drop a cup in the ground. It bounced around in the floor where the employees were waking. Then he picks it back up and puts it with the clean cups. Yuck. This girl stacked it back in with the rest of the cups. Seriously dude? If you drop something on the ground it can't be served. I mean I know that happens all the time from my days working in restaurants, but it's gross to see first hand. Another time I'm there this girl pulls her mask down and wipes snot off her nose and then proceeds to make a drink. I just walked out without my drink. Get it together guys. That being said you get three stars for being open during covid.

Whoever does their art is incredible! And every drink is so bomb, highly rec the secret menu online. Also, if you're going to order something, I prefer the blended drinks. Staff is overall pretty chill when I come in; they're not overly nice would definitely not rude. There's other stores in the city, but I do think going to this one is the best because I can always find parking.

I've been a regular since 2019, and I CANNOT go back to other boba shops. Ever. The food is…read moreamazing, and the Thai coffee is unmatched. The employees are the absolute sweetest (sometimes they even throw in free stuff) and while their English isn't perfect, they are incredibly kind. For my fellow autistic people who deal with overstimulation: the vibe here was perfect. The menu is easy to understand. It is the single location that didn't make me want to rip my hair out. There aren't 20 TVs and loud music playing all at once; it was always quiet. Many other locations, I can't stand being in there 5 minutes without dissociating or flipping out in my mind. I remember there used to be an art pinboard and games around the time I first visited, though I think they removed those ages ago. The place was decorated so cutely and had its own unique vibe I didn't find anywhere else. Unfortunately, as of June 2026, they're closing their doors to make way for some corporate chain that looks like it has no character whatsoever. RIP to a real one. I am actually so effing SAD, dude. So yeah, it isn't worth going anymore since they no longer exist it seems. I hope the founders are doing well since it was family owned. They seemed to be struggling a bit after COVID happened.

The broth was amazing, noodles, meat and other inclusions were perfectly cooked. The service was great!. Super friendly staff and very helpful. I did not get any Boba, but we'll plan to next time. I would definitely come here again.

If you are in Albuquerque and craving a solid banh mi, CODA Bakery is a great spot to check out. I…read moreordered the classic banh mi dac biet, and it absolutely delivered. The cold cuts were flavorful, the bread was fresh, and the meat to bread ratio was just right since I like more meat than bread. This is an excellent option for a quick lunch, but I would recommend staying to eat if you can. The decor is simple, the space is clean, and there are a few tables available. It does get busy during the lunch rush, but the line moves quickly and is well worth the wait. While the banh mi definitely steals the show, there are plenty of other options on the menu. Their banh cuon, thin rice noodles filled with ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, was good, though still second to the sandwiches. They also offer pate chau, a flaky puff pastry filled with pork pate, including a New Mexico style version with chicken and green chile. They have a variety of Vietnamese desserts like che, which I did not get a chance to try this time. My coworker loved their traditional Vietnamese hot coffee. I do not drink coffee, but I did enjoy one of their smoothies, which was refreshing and delicious. Overall, CODA Bakery is a go to spot for authentic Vietnamese flavors and one of the best places in Albuquerque for banh mi.
