I had a boba craving and this place was close by. The reviews and ratings were low, so I proceeded with caution, but I didn't think it was bad. Boba Tea Company is located near the food court inside the Chandler mall. There was lots of seating available and the area seemed clean. It was a weekday evening around 5pm, and a little busy. But luckily there were a few kiosks to use and order through. I think this helped speed up the ordering process too. I decided to order the Jazzie and although I ordered it less sweet, I think it was still pretty sweet. But I enjoyed it, and it took care of the boba craving I'd been having. read more

Not that it's horrible to highlight your creations, but it would be helpful to have a clearer menu. Even some traditional flavors. I never understood the obsession with Boba tea and I can say I'm gonna have to find a location when I return home! I got the Jazzie in a kiss size with regular boba. I've never had golden tea before and was a little nervous to order it. However, I can say I'm NOT disappointed! The tea is so light and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweetness! It's such a creamy texture and pairs so well with the boba! The Jazzie comprises of dark brown sugar, cream, and golden tea. It's very light on the pallets and is not overwhelming. I love how cute the top seal is on the cups! Absolutely adorable! The straw is the right size to sip up the boba. The service was fantastic! I was promptly acknowledged and greeted by a perky associate. Each associate is wearing a mask and you can watch them make your drink. There are a ton of choices here, and while I appreciate the cutesy little names the traditionalist in me prefers that bubble tea is named simply by what the ingredients are (Makes it easier to remember too). There are three different sizes (Labeled as three different cutsey names) and various add-ins for your refreshing beverage of choice. There are also hot, iced, or blended options. I went with the 16 oz size Moka Moka which is essentially an iced mocha. It was only a few short minutes for them to make it and we were on our way to shop and sip. It was cool, caffeinated, and refreshing, just what I was looking for. The boba was a good soft yet chewy consistency. Is it the best bubble tea I've had? Decent boba if you're running around Chandler mall. I liked the Tara which was a blended taro boba with coconut milk, cream, and white tea. I've never had blended/frozen boba but I enjoyed it. My Thai was okay, but kinda just tasted like iced tea. Suck it up. I have a love/hate relationship with this place. I love their quirky drink names, the sleek packaging, and how there's more than just boba [gobi poppers and nunu yummies] you can add into the drinks but man do I hate the way they run things! This place is always busy and the line spews well past their awkwardly placed pillar and into the rest of the food court. They should probably utilize some kind of name system or order number because if you're not paying attention, someone can walk away with your drinks. Two smooch-sized [large] drinks costs about $12 which is like $2 more per drink than any other boba house around the valley but you pay for the convenience of having bubble tea inside a nicer shopping mall. Since it's always so busy, their bobas are always soft and chewy --- I dig the freshness. I'm loving the yogurt gobi poppers. Explosive! Another good thing about the place is you can choose what kind of sweetener and creamer for them to use. Truvia? Non-dairy creamer? Yes please! The menu isn't as large as everyone says but since they did go with a clever naming system, you can't just go, "I want a taro boba." You would have to comb through the menu and see that it's called a Purple Haze. This can be a bit confusing but you'll get the hang of it. Anyways, Boba Tea Company is definitely a trendier bubble tea place and I'll probably come back again and again when I feel like standing around for 15 minutes to order and receive some drinks. Somehow I end up mall walking every time I am down in the valley from Flagstaff. Boba Tea Company is an essential stop. Consistently good boba tea here. I don't venture out beyond Thai Tea, but my wife and children have never had a complaint with anything they have gotten. I love boba and usually get it once a week or so! I had a gift card to Boba Tea Company and haven't been to the chandler fashion center location in years. I believe this is a franchise, but the Scottsdale location seems to make their drinks a little better. I usually get the Eskimo (almond, black tea, vanilla bean & boba) and today it was rather chalky and way too sweet. Maybe too much vanilla bean powder? Next time I'll ask for it to be less sweet. They also let you sample the little add-ins like boba and the jellies, that is nice because some are kind of odd! ;) read more

My wife first introduced me to Boba Tea Company about 2.5 years ago! She had to convince me to get a Raging Princess with Strawberry Gobi poppers! It was delicious! We don't drink tea and caffeine makes my wife sleepy so we always order our drinks without caffeine and tea and they always accommodate that request, though we have had a few workers snicker or make some remarks about it on more than one occasion which is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. 5/5 on the product, 4/5 on the cost compared to quality vs. other similar places. 4/5 on staff. Having fun at the mall on spring break when we decided to get some Boba, girl at the register was very rude and offputting from the start like she did not want to be there. I paid in cash and wanted to give her change, but she said she wasn't able to take my change even though I had just handed her the cash. As the usual my wife and I came here for a tea as we were walking through the mall. This place was busy, busy, busy. They seemed to do a good job of getting through the line but it seemed like a few people were confused when drink orders came up. My wife got a Berry Sexy, I think?! I'm pretty sure that is what it was called. She said it was really good and she didn't want to share, usually a good sign, not always though. I had the Sly Chai, magnificent! It had everything I could ask for and some extra caffeine when I needed it. Not gonna lie, my fingers are flying through this review, I'm not sure if Boba means caffeine but it should! Best boba tea place in the Valley! Really glad we found this shop on a visit. They have an amazing assortment of flavor mixes; a cool store design; and a bevy of optional add-ins like boba and less traditional nunu. Teas are flavorful and the boba/nunu make the tea a blast to drink. Only knock would be the pet names for the drinks and all the options you have available. They need to figure out a way to help customers process things quicker. A cluster of people (including me and my girls, to be truthful) is always jamming the order area trying to decipher what they want to have. Maybe some tablet stations where people can choose flavor options, move on to ice type (rocks/slush/et al), and then end with the add-ins. We shall return, soon! read more

I'm from Southern California and more specifically the 626 area (aka asian food central). Super shocked to see a pretty busy boba place in the food court at the mall in Arizona. My curiosity decided to give it a try. First off, their menu is SUPER overwhelming. I'm definitely on the indecisive side when it comes to ordering anything, but they have so many different categories of "teas" such as Flirteas (fruity flavors), Naughteas (creamy flavors), etc. It's a fun concept for each drink to have a cool name, but it took me a while to decipher that menu. I do like how they have three options for sizes of drinks. CLUELESS: This Flirtea drink was made with guava, watermelon, lemon, strawberry, and green. It normally comes with lychee jelly (or "gobi" as they called it here), but I switched it out for boba without any charge. Flavor and their quality of boba was surprisingly pretty good!! GOLDEN TEA BOBA: I think this was a make your own kind of tea option. Could not find it on their menu lol, shows how complicated it is. Was recommended this and it totally reminds me of Lollicup's milk tea haha. Plenty of options and they can also adjust the amount sweetness per request. What's unique here that I don't see often is that they have options for sweeteners in your drinks (i.e.: agave, honey, etc.) A little on the pricey side because it's in a nice mall, but that's expected. read more

This place used to be alright, but just has continually gotten worse over the past couple years. After a log hiatus of not having it due to a drop in quality, I was craving a sweet drink and stopped by. That was a mistake. I decided to go with the Cherry Darling to quell my sweet tooth with yogurt gobi. After a long wait in line, I watched as my drink was made. As with any of these drinks that use syrup flavoring, you have to mix them. There was not a single stir, shake, or anything. As the drink was poured in, it was stopped early and the flavorings rolled back down into the blender. I was handed a light, barely pink drink. The cherry darling should be a vibrant red when made properly. I took it hesitantly since it was busy, and walked away while getting the straw pressed through. I took a sip and... soda water. That was it. There was no tea, no cherry flavoring, nothing. White tea is naturally sweeter than that drink was. It was a $6 cup of soda water. Extremely disappointed, will never be back. read more
