Just before going to work on a hot day I decided to stopped by boba tea house and grab a smoothie. I ordered 1 large avocado smoothie with boba and a regular size avocado smoothie without boba; and 2 orders of popcorn chicken with one mild sauce and the other spicy sauce. My avocado smoothie was first handed to me and so I tried a sip and realize that it tasted more like a regular "milk tea" and no trace of avocado. So I went to the counter gave my smoothies back and kindly asked the 2 young ladies behind the counter to please make it again since it didn't really taste like what I had ordered, she hesitantly took it back and said ok we'll make you another one. Another gentleman who heard my complaint had asked what I had ordered and I told him I ordered avocado smoothies but it didn't taste like it; he too ordered the same thing and thought also that it tasted more like milk tea than avocado, so he too, handed his full cup of smoothie and requested they make a new one. The new set of smoothie was a little better and had at least a hint of avocado taste, but I decided not to say anything more since I was pressed on time. She handed me my 2 orders of popcorn chicken and I quickly left and head for work. I had open up my bag orders of popcorn chicken to eat just before starting work and and to my disbelief both orders of chicken was heavily loaded and coated with chili powder that made it too spicy to eat. All in retaliation because I had asked them to make the correct smoothie order that I had initially asked for. I've been going to this place for over 15 years and never had I encountered such behavior and unprofessionalism. What a disappointment. I can only speak for takeout orders since my friend helped me put in my order and brought it over to. There are two locations: Loma Linda and Riverside. Each site has their own specialties. You can order from their website for both locations. She went to the Loma Linda location. They labeled their online menu on which drinks had dairy and which ones were non dairy. I thought their menu was unique because they had flavors that I haven't really seen at boba spots like cactus cooler green tea, cantaloupe tea, and peanut butter mocha blast. I have a dairy allergy and wasn't there to ask additional questions so I ordered their flavored tea just to be safe. Upon looking at their website, it doesn't let me modify my order to get a substitute milk or let me see if they charge for their substitute milk for their slushes and milk teas. I ordered from their flavored tea menu just to be safe. I had their cantaloupe tea blend with oolong tea . My friends had their taro milk tea, rose milk tea, and their tofu ($7.25) and sweet potato fries snacks ($7.95). I thought their tea was good. It was interesting that it tasted like lychee. My friends liked their drinks and snacks. Next time I'll come in person to order from them because I have questions. read more

Been coming here for a pick me up before work and I've been hooked! The self ordering machines are so convenient and straight forward. Parking is shared amongst the other businesses in the plaza but usually empty as others are in and out of there. I tried the Vietnamese coffee slushie w/boba. It was really tasty (a tad bit sweet, but most are). It seems like wherever you go, you cannot adjust the sweetness of Vietnamese coffee because it comes in a mix‍ (hopefully that will change). I got the popcorn chicken meal that came with green tea and I ate about half, it's a good portion and very tasty. The staff were really friendly and helpful when I asked questions. The service was very friendly and the Ambiance was ok (a tad bit loud because of making drinks, which is to be expected). The store is very clean. I hadn't been here for several years since my mom passed several years ago and of course prices have gone up everywhere. This is the first boba tea shop that my husband took me to because I was craving for some ever since I moved to California I loved their Hokkaido milk tea and seasoned fries the first time I ordered here. The milktea tasted okay, just the usual but the fries were so good! Decent boba place with great customer service. Plenty of parking and they have both drinks and snacks here. They also sell boba themed merchandise and merch of their logo mascot as well. I got the: 1) Cantaloupe Milk Tea: -Sounded pretty unique. -Just tastes like a very slightly melon tasting standard milk tea. -Not bad, but doesn't stand out that much to be honest. 2) Salted Caramel Milk Tea: -Also tastes like a standard milk tea but the salted caramel flavor was a tad stronger. -Not bad. 3) Seasoned Fries: -A good amount of standard fries (kinda like the ones you get from McD's). -You can adjust the spiciness, which I think is just how much spicy powder they put on. Comes with ketchup too. -Some of the fries were crispy, others were pretty oily and mushy. -Not bad, but I don't think it was worth $5+ I did not adjust the sweetness for any of these drinks, so I'm glad they're not scathingly sweet, but at the same time, they barely tasted like the flavors that I chose. A few updates and unfortunately not good ones. -Nearly everything on the menu has increased by $2+ dollars..yet the quality has somehow decreased? -Also we're not allowed to mix milk tea flavors anymore (although the price of the drink is much higher), so I couldn't get my usual drink. -To add insult to injury I'm FAIRLY certain the updated "large" cup, is THINNER than it use to be a year+ ago..so we're paying more but seem to be getting less. Absolute best boba smoothies made here and one of the only places I know that offer mini boba. I've been coming here for years and the drinks and the popcorn chicken have maintained great taste and quality. I've seen this boba joint evolve, and with each visit it gets better and better. The service here is on par and this is one of my go too places to bring a laptop and study - but if only I lived closer. Their service has always been amazing, they recently added some self order screens but not all of the drinks are added ( such as the winter melon). I wish they kept the same ambiance as the original w/ the orange walls and cute pictures but they remodeled... it looks halfway done because there are tiles missing by the kitchen so I can only imagine what other corners were cut. When I attempted to use it, the staff informed me that the system was not recognizing the card and offered to contact the owner directly. However, they were uncertain about when the owner would respond. Given the indefinite timeframe, I allowed the staff to keep my gift card along with my contact information for the time being. After one week, I called the shop to follow up on my gift card. The staff member who answered said, "We already gave it to the owner, but there hasn't been a response. It shouldn't take more than a couple of days." I provided my contact information again. Another week passed with no response. I continued to call weekly to inquire about my $50 gift card, but each time, the staff could only offer to take down my information for the owner. I have called so frequently that one of the workers is now familiar with my case. As of now, it has been over FOUR months without any resolution. We ordered a taro slush with boba and a strawberry honey pudding smoothie. The drink quality isn't always consistent here, but the quality of our drinks was good and they came out quick. The taro slush wasn't chalky and had a good flavor; and the strawberry honey pudding was pretty balanced, it wasn't too overwhelmed by the strawberry and there was a decent amount of pudding. We've been here several times now and thus tried a selection of their drinks. The most standout drink that I'd recommend is their royal milk tea - it has a good flavor. However the rest of the drinks we've tried (lychee black tea, passionfruit black tea, Thai tea, caramel milk tea to name a few) have all been mediocre. They don't use fresh fruit in the lychee and passionfruit teas so they just taste...standard. Nothing wrong with them, but also nothing special.
