You walk in and are immediately greeted by music which invokes a chill vibe. It's a place where a lot of UCR students hang out. The coffee drinks and the deserts we chose were really good. Of course I had the baklava and she had a strawberry cake. Shout out to the young lady who helped us and offered her advice on the best drinks. Her service was great.

To be fair, Qamaria is a Yemeni coffee shop, so I probably shouldn't have gone in expecting the matcha to be the star of the menu. Just a heads-up for any other matcha girlies coming specifically for that. That being said, $9 for a matcha is actually insane. At that price point, I'm expecting something that really stands out, and this just didn't for me. I've also tried the brown sugar shaken espresso (4/5), which was definitely on the sweeter side but still pretty good. But again... around $9 for a coffee is kind of wild. One thing I will absolutely give them though: the service is amazing. Everyone I've interacted with has been super kind, welcoming, and attentive, which honestly makes the experience a lot better. The price tag still knocks a star off for me, and another downside is that the music always seems to be SO loud. I like a lively coffee shop, but sometimes it feels like I have to yell just to have a conversation. Overall, the drinks aren't bad, and the service is genuinely great, but between the prices and the matcha being pretty average, I personally don't really get the hype. I'd probably stick to what they're known for rather than coming here specifically for matcha.

Their popcorn chicken, although it was crunchy, it lacked any flavor or seasoning. I couldn't taste pepper or salt, either! I had to douse it in sweet and sour sauce. As for my honeydew milk tea with boba, it was very sweet and you can taste the honeydew flavors, but the boba had absolutely no flavor to it. It was also extremely chewy, like chewing gum. So i got the boba milk tea and my friend got the thai ice tea with boba and we order a med. popcorn chicken. the drinks here are delicious. the popcorn chicken was GOOD, so juicy and spicy it was like a party in my mouth!! the boba is soft and chewy and you can actually taste the flavor of the drink. not water down unlike other boba places i've gone. So its great to know I can get some delicious boba drinks&snacks at a lovely price. after all i'm still a student so the dough isn't rolling in anytime soon. okay quick review of the place. since it was their grand opening today the place was super pack. I love the idea that they had a photo booth going on, which was fun. but what stood out to me the most was their customer service. see they forgot to charge my friend for boba in his thai tea. and instead of "rolling her eyes, and be all bitchy about it" she just smiled and apologize for the mistake and added boba to his drink, without charge. the place was kept really clean, even the bathrooms!! which is surprising since it was so busy. i believe i've finally found the perfect place to study. did i forget to mention they got a WHITE BOARD!!! i no longer have to go to library anymore for group projects :) so for those who havent heard about boba tea house come in check it out. great service, yummy drinks, and the price wont make a hole in your wallet unlike ten ren. I was in the area looking for a boba spot and decided to stop by. Ordering was super easy with their kiosk, and I noticed their Special Honey Pudding Smoothie on the menu--it looked perfect for a hot day, so I gave it a try. Honestly, best decision ever! The drink was incredible--smooth, creamy, and refreshing. You can really taste the rich honey blended with the milk tea, and the pudding adds a silky texture that makes every sip fun and unique. The honey boba was also a standout--soft, chewy, and lightly sweet, way better than what I've had at other places. If you're craving boba, the Special Honey Pudding Smoothie is a must-try. The place is small but has a very modern interior design. Very chic and relaxing but it gets stuffy when tons of people come in. The staff is friendly. The bathroom could use a clean up every now and then. Their drinks are very good. My favorite is the thai tea, not too sweet or milky. I especially love their 50cent mochi snacks. Its not to far from the school and easy to get access to. There is also a bakery next door so it accompanies it quite well. I just wish sometimes their music wasn't so loud. Nonetheless, its a good cafe if you want to relax for certain minutes. read more

this boba joint gets a 1 start from me because the times that i have been here i see this lady carryring a baby behind a counter and it running all over the place. i don't know if she is the owner or not? babies don't belong back there regardless. the people working there i can tell are like pushed to get chatty with you...like seriously i just came to buy a drink or two. nobody got time for that. and the only time i decided to use their bathrooms, it's filthy. the drinks here are OKAY. they make it so freaking sweet even when i requested to put less sugar. read more

One of the better places for boba at Riverside. Their boba is quite chewy and has a good texture to it. The milk tea is balanced and you can adjust your sugar level to your liking. The shaved snow is really good. They give you a mountain amount of snow and you can select whichever toppings you want. It is also conveniently in a small plaza so you can eat and shops around while drinking your boba. Would come again. read more

Probably my favorite Boba place near UCR! Their milk teas are my favorite, especially the Honey Green Milk Tea, Honey Pudding Milk Tea or the Mango Green Tea. The popcorn chicken is BOMB too. I used to be obsessed with the shaved snow but they made the portion size so much smaller than they used to give. Also, they have great late night deals during UCR's Finals Week for drinks under $2! read more

Check out the picture -- all three sizes are lined up together. And if you're thinking, "Okay, the boba must be cheap because it's low quality," think again. It was actually so good. The flavor was delicious, and the tapioca pearls were the perfect consistency: sweet, soft, chewy, squishy, and perfectly sunken to the bottom the way good boba should be. To be totally honest, my husband and I had walked in and back out of this place several times before finally trying it. The inside is very dark, and with the huge screen right when you walk in combined with the dark floors and tables, it's not the most inviting atmosphere at first glance. It could probably use a remodel -- but honestly, if remodeling means raising the prices, please leave it exactly as it is. We finally went in with friends, and the staff ended up being incredibly kind and polite. Service is always friendly and helpful, and there is usually plenty of seating. I have to say the ambiance is a bit more cozy and mom and pop style, nothing crazy or special with the decor like some trendy boba shops do. That being said I truly appreciate the reasonable price point for consistently quality boba.

The location is in a strip mall right off the freeway (60 freeway) which is very convenient. They have a large variety of drinks like fruity ones as well as milkshakes. I ordered the Carmel Vanilla MT (Milk Tea). I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor was good. Sweet (I like sweet) with a strong tea flavor. I ordered a large (because I thought the cup looked cool). The price was reasonable and the overall experience was great. The decor is minimal but fun and clean. The service was immediate and friendly. I could not finish the large in one day but that's because I'm not a huge tea drinker. The tea was a little strong for me....so I had to separate it and add more milk to tame the flavor a little. But I water down my coffee also lol. Great overall experience. They have some other drinks I want to try so I definitely be back.
