This is a great spot for some coffee! Ordered their Ethiopian pour over along with a pistachio muffin and both were really good. Coffee was fragrant and the pastry was fluffy with delicious pistachio filling. Service was helpful in going over suggestions and giving us our order. The cafe is clean and nicely decorated, one of the tables had a chess board that me and my wife enjoyed. It's great to see an amazing coffee spot in Downtown Riverside!

Anytime I'm in Downtown Riverside, my first stop is always Copper Goat. Their coffee is just consistently good. I usually stick with my go to, sweet shaken espresso (still fantastic, by the way), but this time I branched out and tried one of their new featured drinks. I went with the salted honey macadamia latte, and it was definitely interesting in the best way. It hits that sweet and salty balance, and the saltiness grew on me with each sip. My flavor profile usually leans sweet when it comes to espresso, so if you're someone who loves a little salty contrast, this one's worth trying. We also grabbed some mini bomboloni cream pastries, which we were told were imported from Italy, and they were delicious. They reminded me a bit of beignets, and the cream filling was fantastic. I did get a cronut too, but that one missed the mark for me. It was a little stale and harder than expected. I was hoping for that crispy, flaky bite. Overall, Copper Goat is still one of my favorite stops in the area, especially for coffee.

Will definitely be returning. I ordered a vanilla latte with a carrot cake bar & it was delicious. Amazing service and yummy coffee! I went to Copper Goat today because I love trying out coffee places. Copper Goat did not disappoint. My Iced Honey Lavender Latte was amazing (finished with locally sourced honey) and the owner Ruby was very sweet and lovely. Its a beautiful space. Check it out!

This coffee shop is located a block away from Riverside's Mission Inn, on Main Street, within a cove of several shops known as the Emporium. The interior has several tables along the front window and a couple of cushy chairs near the entrance. There are additional tables located just outside the entrance, within the covered area of the Emporium. It's a quiet and comfortable space. I ordered a coffee from their house specialities - a hot maple bourbon vanilla cinnamon latte. I also chose a slice of carrot cake from their small pastry case. The woman taking my order seemed rather glum while the barista was quite pleasant and kind, bringing my order to the comfy chair I was snuggled into (normally they just call your name to pick up at the counter). The carrot cake was very good; moist with an icing that wasn't overly sweet. The espresso was sweetened by the maple and a slight taste of vanilla was discernible. I couldn't detect any bourbon flavor though. I think it got lost amidst all the other flavors; I wondered if perhaps they used bourbon-maple syrup? The light taste of cinnamon was within the foam. It may sound like I had issues with the latte, but on the contrary, I really enjoyed it as it was quite unique.

Pains me to give such a low review but this experience was not it. I went right at opening bc Simple Simon didn't have specialty coffee. I was maybe the 3rd order and my drink took over 20 mins. I got the bourbon vanilla cinnamon latte and it was a weak espresso, a little on the sweet side and not even full to the top for the "large" size which is standard 16 oz. $7 They also have a 12 oz for $6.50

Great local coffee shop. The ladies working were friendly and worked quickly to make all the orders as they came in. I had the sweet shaken espresso and a chocolate chip croissant. The espresso hit the spot and gave me the pick me up I needed. The croissant was warm flaky and delicious. There is a large seating area inside and a few spots outside. Would come back again.

Oh my goodness, a partially hidden gem in DT Riverside. This place makes coffee the star with a very strong supporting cast. We had the Salted Vanilla Latte and the Maple Bourbon Vanilla Cinnamon Latte. Service was exceptional and the vibe was relaxing with some nice soft music playing in the background. Would've taken pictures of our lattes, but we couldn't stop sipping. Can't wait for our next coffee adventure discoveries at Copper Goat Coffee. I'm gonna leave a pic anyways.

This is a gem here in Downtown Riverside CA. The service here was wonderful. The two ladies working here today were kind enough to serve my drink to me- which was amazingly delicious! I ordered the Coppa Spagnola (Vanilla and Cherry Gelato with Cherries and Espresso) and I will be back just for this! BOMBoloni literally in the name. The Ciambella was soft and dense. absolutely perfect little sweet snack with even better coffee and matcha. Rocky took our order and explained any questions we had. Ambiance - we came around 10 AM on a Saturday morning and it was quiet in the café, only one other family sitting and playing chess while they waited for their coffee. The café itself is very minimalistic and bright. Service- quick and friendly Drink - we had a tiramisu latte a couple weeks ago in San Diego that we can't stop thinking about so we were very excited to see that they had a tiramisu lot to hear as well, it was good, but I think in retrospect I wish I would have gotten the salted vanilla. The drink was good still. Price - a little over $15 for 216 ounce iced lattes. Comparable enough I guess to other coffee shops in the area, but I'm really starting to feel like you better blow my mind if I'm paying that much for a coffee read more

I was in Riverside for a conference and this was walking distance from the Convention Center. It's in a very cute spot in Downtown Riverside. They have a decent selection of specialty flavored drinks and some pastries. The staff is all very friendly but it was a bit slow and inefficient when it came to ordering. I chalk it up to there being a large number of folks coming in from the conference but just something to note if you're in a hurry, this may not be the place for you. read more

The authentic Ethiopian coffee inspired meaningful conversations and created a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The coffee shop is thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect place to unwind, connect with friends, or simply enjoy a great cup of coffee. The neighborhood itself is rich in history and charm, which adds to the overall experience and makes it a destination worth visiting. We had a fabulous time, thoroughly enjoyed the coffee, and treasured the conversations we shared there. I highly recommend this place. First time trying, will def be back to try again. However I did order my daughter a kids temp hot coco. It was extremely hot good thing I checked before giving it to her so I asked for a cup of ice. It just tasted like regular milk not really worth the price. I had gotten a maple bourbon cinnamon iced latte. That was so good! I love that they don't charge for oat milk. Only down sound to this is that our drinks took a while to get and mine could have been filled up more, that's just my opinion (took pics before I drank it) read more

Finally had the chance to check out copper Goat coffee and i really enjoyed it. It's a really cozy coffee shop located middle of downtown. My friend and i were able to find really close parking and they offer an hour free. The have an extensive menu and it was hard to choose what to order. Luckily the employee was able to offer lots of insight and advice on what was best to get. I went with the Tiramisu latte since i wanted something sweeter and my friend ordered the maple bourbon vanilla latte. I really enjoyed mine i thought the coffee had a great taste an the foam added a perfect sweetness. My friend said hers was more coffee forward and would have preferred slightly sweeter. Another thing i appreciated is that we weren't charged extra for oatmilk and they also have a point system where you get 5 dollars for every 50 spent. Overall i really enjoyed it and i look forward to going back when i get the chance. read more

Great coffee shop in the heart of downtown Riverside! I was able to walk from my hotel which was very convenient. Service was friendly and quick, I got a caramel latte (half sweet which was plenty sweet), and a pistachio muffin that has pistachio filling inside. The newest coffee shop in Riverside. It is located right between the Main Street, Mission Inn Hotel, and Riverside Convention Center (Right location). Everything looks new and the aroma inside the shop is so good. I ordered Iced 12oz Maple Boubon Cinnamon Latte to go and it impressed me! A perfect mixture of sweetness and bold taste. Definitely will recommend everyone to go there if they can. The barista was pretty helpful and suggestive when I took time to consider the order. read more

Tucked away in Downtown Riverside, The Copper Goat is a hidden gem! The space is modern and minimal -- a calm, inviting spot that's perfect for getting work done. The quiet vibe makes it ideal for studying, working remotely, or just enjoying a peaceful coffee break. We ordered the Bourbon Vanilla Maple Latte and the Salted Vanilla Latte -- both were delicious with really nice depth of flavor. You can tell they put thought into their drinks. We also grabbed their cinnamon roll, which is only available on Wednesdays -- it was incredible! Soft, gooey, and packed with cinnamon goodness. Definitely coming back. As a flight attendant I always frequent the LOCAL coffee shops in every city!! Absolutely the BEST!! Their coffee is beyond AMAZING!!! Also the staff is extremely friendly and the coffee shop delivers peace & serenity while you "sip" your cares away!! read more

Very poor service. Nobody was in line and we waited by the register for several minutes. The barista didn't acknowledge us and when a different man came up to the counter, he repeatedly got our orders wrong and we kept having to correct him (very simple on-menu orders). The coffee came out quickly but both lattes were lukewarm. The salted vanilla latte did not taste like either. The upside: no up charge for milk substitutes, and a very cute and clean cafe. read more

When he explained that I was already ordering, she repeated herself in a dismissive tone and continued making sandwiches without making eye contact once. What stood out most wasn't just the lack of hospitality, but the overall attitude from multiple staff members. The environment felt cold, dismissive, and inconvenienced by customers being there at all. Ironically, the café advertises community classes like yoga and live meditation classes on the window, yet basic customer service and professionalism seem completely absent. The food itself was fine, which is why this review is specifically about the service experience. Even after how poorly we were treated, I still left a tip because I refuse to match that level of disrespect. Management seriously needs to address the customer service culture here. One rude interaction can happen anywhere -- but multiple employees displaying the same behavior reflects a larger issue.

First, the name--I didn't get the connection between "arcade" and "coffee" (then again what does that matter). After overcoming these nonsensical, self-created mental barriers, we walked inside and saw that this is a sophisticated operation with wonderful products, employees, and a truly unique experience. She asked over the counter if we had any questions and told us to let her know when we were ready. Her welcoming approach was perfect for first-time visitors. We ordered the Mango Sticky Rice matcha and the Cherry Glaze matcha. Both were delicious, and it was clear that quality is a major focus here. The matchas weren't overloaded with syrup like some places; instead, they tasted naturally infused--subtle, balanced, and perfect. For snacks, we tried the salmon bagel and the blueberry scone. Both were excellent. The bagel was fresh and packed with flavor, again showcasing quality ingredients. The scone was one of the best I've had from a coffee shop--it tasted like it came straight from a bakery. The blueberries were large and bursting with flavor, and the texture was ideal: not too hard, not too soft. It was just right. (They should name it "Goldilocks"!) In addition to coffee, matcha, and chai tea, they also offer craft sodas and other choices for any mood. We decided to enjoy our drinks and snacks inside. As we sat, we noticed they have their own bean-roasting machine (totally unique!). I've never seen one in person, but for coffee lovers who enjoy fresh roasts, this means they bring in green coffee beans, roast them on-site, and produce the freshest, highest-quality product possible. (You could say "they have the beans" -- a little Curb Your Enthusiasm reference for fans of the show.) Aside from having "the beans," they also had a projector showing the World Cup. There are plenty of seating options: tables with chairs, standing desks, sofas, and benches. We will definitely be returning to this little slice of heaven on Earth.

They make a huge variety of tea blends, available in tiny pouches so you can sample lots of different types without making a commitment to a huge bag. There is a shop cat who lives here named Pepper. She seems clean and friendly, and the teas are hung up on the wall and not placed on a table so you won't get litter paws all over your tea leaves. Maybe it's just something to be aware of if you have cat allergies or just dislike them.

For $6, it was bigger than our faces; I'm guessing x3 the size of a regular donut. I enjoyed it because it was sweet, doughy, and perfectly glazed. However, I had flakes all over myself, table and floor. The cafe latte was really good and perfectly balanced. The shop is very inviting and designed beautifully. I really enjoyed seeing the different variety of plants and nicknacks. I would get the sandwich again, but on a bagel next time. Overall it was a really good experience and I can't wait to go back. We prefer the tea with some cream, no sweetener added. The coffee is great if you prefer coffee. It is a great deal compared to the single drinks that average $8. The desserts are great. I really like the milk cakes--they taste like tres leches and I am a big fan. The pistachio and Biscoff ones are especially good. Highly recommend and enjoy coming here. FYI, sometimes the internet doesn't work.

I was steered wrong, but also super indecisive. The croissant is not the way to go if you don't like getting dirty while eating. It was bomb, don't get me wrong. However, I had flakes all over myself, table and floor. The cafe latte was really good and perfectly balanced. The shop is very inviting and designed beautifully. I really enjoyed seeing the different variety of plants and nicknacks. I would get the sandwich again, but on a bagel next time. Overall it was a really good experience and I can't wait to go back. They even have a tv for the World Cup games going on right now.

Arcade Coffee in Riverside has quickly become one of my favorite spots. Their pastries are also really good and pair perfectly with a coffee or seasonal drink. The space itself is clean, modern, and has a really trendy, inviting vibe. It's the kind of place you actually want to sit and stay awhile, whether you're catching up with someone or just enjoying some time to yourself. Every visit has been consistently great--nothing has ever disappointed. Overall, Arcade Coffee is a solid go-to in Riverside if you want good drinks, good pastries, and a nice atmosphere.

This coffee shop is truly a gem! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, friendly service that immediately made me feel welcome. The staff clearly care about creating a great experience and go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of. I tried their Ethiopian beans, and the flavor was outstanding--bright, rich, and perfectly balanced. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every cup. I was in Los Angeles last September for a wedding and had the chance to visit Copper Goat Coffee Shop in Riverside. What a great surprise! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the coffee was excellent. You can really taste the quality of the beans. The pastries were also fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. If you are in the Riverside area and love great coffee, this place is definitely worth visiting. There are a variety of coffee shops downtown to choose from and this is by far the best one. Everything we have tried has been so good. I have turned all my family and friends onto this place. Their pastries have all been amazing as well. Some places have bland or dried out/stale food but I'm currently drinking their coffee and eating some cream puffs (both regular and chocolate) and they are delicious. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area. Staff and owners are very nice and accommodating as well. read more

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Copper Goat Coffee, a trendy new café in downtown Riverside, California. Their Ethiopian coffee is exceptionally smooth and of high quality. I tried the Salted Caramel Latte, which was absolutely delightful! So good, I purchased coffee beans to go. The café also offers an array of unique pastries, including the Ube Cheesecake. I tried their pistachio muffin, and it was absolutely out of this world (they mentioned it came from Italy, and you can truly taste the difference!).
