We absolutely love Stray dogs coffee roasters! Such a good vibe gonna on here. The staff and owners are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The smell in here is yummy! We love their coffee and Matcha. We also love their baked goods. Everything is made with love! You can taste it and feel it! Whenever in Riverside and craving coffee, Matcha, and baked goods we think of Stray Dogs!!! Most definitely recommend coming here and checking them out! We wish them so much success!
It is a great place for you and your dog. The ambiance is nice with lots of ambient light, quiet music, and spaciousness of the store. The tables are not too crowded so you can get around, but unfortunately not every table is powered. Overall not a bad place to chill and study. The parking lot isn't too small for downtown but will definitely get filled quickly. The drinks were pretty good. I like the uniqueness of the banana pudding drink and the double matcha was light and refreshing - if I had a choice though, I would add more matcha as I like mine stronger. My dog though was super happy for the pup cup. Plus side he didn't vomit, so the one they made wasn't too heavy for him compared to coffee bean's formula. They also put a nice cookie for him (sadly he wasn't interested as he doesn't like most dog treats). I just super appreciate having a place where I can bring him indoors in this heat!
My favorite matcha place Everything feels so amazing when you walk in. Jaz is a sweetheart, she let me have my time since I am all the time thinking about my order :) this time I decided to try the arroz con leche matcha 10/10 and my fiancée tried the apple pie very very flavored 10/10 we had last time the blueberry castella and we ordered it again and I asked Jaz for a new pastry and she said the custard croissant and its my new favorite. Thank you so much guys!!! You are a very very nice matcha place!!! The vibes here are so peaceful even when people are talking
Finally, a coffee shop in Riverside that's worth coming back to again and again! We loved it so much that we came back three times in one week. The Blueberry Cobbler Latte (or muffin I forgot) completely won us over. It was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, with a delicious blueberry sauce, cheesecake-flavored cold foam, and a sprinkle of pastry crumbs on top that really tied everything together. It honestly tasted like dessert in the best way. We also tried the Banana Matcha, and it was just as impressive. You can tell they use real banana because it tastes fresh and natural instead of artificial. The matcha itself was smooth, creamy, and not overly earthy, making it easy to drink even if you're not a hardcore matcha fan. The shop itself is huge and spacious. There are plenty of tables, making it the perfect spot to study, work remotely, or catch up with friends without feeling cramped. Great drinks, a welcoming atmosphere, and consistent quality every visit. Stray Dogs Coffee Roasters has quickly become one of our favorite coffee spots in Riverside, and we'll definitely be back.
Space has a very open concept, good amount of tables. Service is good, baristas very kind. The lattes are good, on the lighter side for coffee. The blueberry syrup was great. I do think that for the size of the lattes, the price is high. If there was a specialty latte I was really interested in I would consider coming back.

This is my second time coming to this coffee roasters and this is one place I would definitely come back to. Last time I came here, there was a market going on during the weekend. This time around, I came on a Monday morning/afternoon. Both days were pretty busy. It is a good place to study or do work and have some outlets. There is a mixture of seatings inside and outside. There is also limited parking in the back. The cashier and baristas were really nice and gave recommendations on their menu. I got the espresso tonic and the barista warned me that it has more of a yuzu essence and not sweet. Which for me was perfect! Overall, it is a great craft coffee shop and would come back again and try other things from their menu.
Let me tell yall. It was truly a blessing to find this place. What's gift. The coffee was amazing, the sweets are cute and tasty, and the vibe is chill. It's a faith based business which is my personal preference and there very much was peace and friendliness in the atmosphere from everyone! I HIGHLY recommend trying this place. It's huge, parking isn't an issue, aesthetic and things are not overpriced. And the baked goods are fresh and homemade.
After an early morning hike at Mount Rubidoux, I decided to treat myself to a matcha here--and I'm so glad I did! After about an hour and a half of working out, it was the perfect pick-me-up. I ordered the strawberry matcha, and as a strawberry lover, it definitely did not disappoint (9/10 ). I also tried the blueberry cupcake, which was delicious as well (8/10 ). The café had a calm, relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect place to sit down with my books and study for an hour. The AC was especially appreciated on a warm day! Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back.
Drinks 5/5 I thought the drinks were really good overall. I didn't get a chance to try the coffee, but I did order the matcha and enjoyed it. The flavor is on the lighter side, so it's not very strong, it really depends on your preference. I personally liked that it wasn't overly sweet, which made it easy to drink. The foam on top was a nice touch and added to the overall experience. I'd definitely come back to try more from their menu! Customer Service 5/5 I came in with my dog and was immediately greeted with a pup cup, which was such a sweet touch. The staff was extremely friendly and made the environment feel very welcoming. They were also patient when explaining the menu, which I really appreciated. Ambience 5/5 I love that they allow dogs, it makes it such a fun spot to visit with friends. What a cute place! I love their decor and the layout of the cafe. Super hip! Baristas were super nice. I ordered a hot hojicha latte, their brown sugar coffee and their peanut butter cream cupcake. Hojicha latte was just okay. Nothing special. There's a hint of hojicha and a lot of milk. I wouldn't get it again. The brown sugar coffee was delicious. Very creamy with good coffee flavors. The best part of the cupcake was the cream. The cake itself was very dry. But I was so disappointed because it looked so beautiful! Overall, it was expensive for the experience. Cute but not work the money.
Clean, calm, spacious coffee shop. The coffee was great not too sweet or bitter. Tried the steps con leche perfect balance of coffee,milk and sugar. Husband got the banana pudding matcha also really good. Will come back to try something else.
Corndog latte--hit this out of the dog park! My sister said it tasted as if Corn Pops was a latte! Service was fantastic! The place is pretty big and their desserts are also delicious. The Biscoff Cheesecake was light and fluffy. Not too sweet.

Was In area and decided to give this place a shot. I'm always hearing good things about and it is living up to its name. The place is super nice and very open. Service was great! I got a cold brew with a vanilla cold foam. Really good! I like that it was one size I also got the Oreo cheesecake. It was thick. If you're looking for soft I wouldn't recommended it but if you like thick consistency then yes. Also the pricing here is very reasonable I was shocked compared to other places. Love, love, love this coffee shop in Riverside! Conveniently located about 8 minutes from Mt. Rubidoux, it provides an open, spacious place for dog owners to sip and relax with their precious pooches by their side. I love the concept that they donate a portion of their proceeds to animal rescue centers. The service is welcoming for both humans and canines alike, making this philanthropic spot a favorite for sure. They have house-made syrups, alternative milk choices, and serve coffee, matcha, and hojicha. I ordered a one of the specialty lattes to try with half the sweetener as well as the hojicha with sugar-free vanilla, half-and-half, and a dash of cinnamon. Absolutely delicious! My friend and I had just hiked Mt. Rubidoux and were looking for a dog-friendly place. I remembered hearing about this spot, and I'm so glad we stopped in. Had somewhere to be in Riverside and was ahead of schedule, so I stopped by this local coffee shop. Great choice. I got a hot matcha latte that tasted really good, but the standout was the customer service. When I arrived around 5:50 pm it was quiet, but it quickly filled up. Christian let everyone know he was working alone and kindly asked for patience. I was impressed--he hustled the whole time, stayed friendly, and everyone still seemed to have a great experience. read more

I tried their seasonal caramel apple matcha and loved the vibrant flavors along with the sweet notes of caramel and apple! Highly recommend this place if you like sweet drinks and great vibes! Both matchas were sooooo good and refreshing. The matcha was perfectly balanced and the fruit flavors tasted fresh. They were honestly perfect Customer service was excellent, very kind and helpful The Japanese matcha cheesecakes were yummy. More of a light and airy texture than a cheesecake texture. I have been on a serious kick with trying new coffee shops, and Stray Dogs is definitely a new favorite! There is a small parking lot behind the building and, although spaces are limited, I have always been able to find a spot with no problem. Inside is cozy; they have long tables, benches, and even a little lounge area to sit at. The cozy feeling was amplified with a christmas tree for the holidays! I always see people sitting with friends or studying/working while enjoying their drinks. The ambiance is very trendy and a bit rustic. I like it! Staff are super friendly. On my first visit I was helped by a man with long black hair and glasses; I didn't catch his name, though. I asked which drinks are popular and asked what he recommends for a first timer. On his recommendation, I landed on an iced sweet potato latte with marshmallow cold foam! I also grabbed a little fudge cake thing. I wasn't sure what to expect from a sweet potato latte, but it was incredible! The flavor was well balanced and not too sweet, and it tasted like Thanksgiving! I wish it wasn't a limited/seasonal syrup. The chocolate cake thing was just ok; it wasn't overly sweet but it felt like it was missing something. I wouldn't get it again, but their black sesame cake and mini Japanese cheesecake are both much better! I have liked every drink so far. Make sure you grab a stamp card when you order! I am not always in the area, but when I am, I make a point to swing by for a little treat! read more
This place was so cute! The inside was nice and spacious with cute decor all around. I also LOVED the sticker I got. The service was nice. A young man was working the register and offered his opinion on drinks as well as preferences to change mine to make it up to my standard. Only losing 1 star just because I wasn't the biggest fan of my drink. It wasn't bad but it wasn't super good either. I still appreciated the help from the worker though! read more

Been meaning to check out this coffee shop in downtown Riverside and finally got a chance to on a Saturday afternoon. My wife and I got a drink each with a black sesame pastry on the side. The drinks were great! Their banana pudding matcha was delicious and their hojicha was a real standout as well. Absolutely loved both of them. The tea and matcha flavors stood out with the right amount of sweetness. The pastry was good as well. Service was helpful as they went over the menu. The cafe was nicely decorated with a modern look although we did notice the bathrooms and tables were a but dirty and it doesn't look like they've been cleaned for a while. Will still definitely be back to try more drinks! read more

This has become a new favorite place to go in downtown Riverside. Stray dogs is such a wholesome place and customer service is so great! The owners are very sweet! Their matcha is very good, high quality and they balance well with their syrups. The seasonal syrups and menu are always so interesting but sooo good! I just tried their blueberry matcha and I loved it! I also recommend their earl grey matcha and just a classics vanilla matcha. They do have parking in the back which makes it easier to get to their store and it's super cute and open inside. read more

Loved this coffee shop. Very aesthetic with friendly staff. The Greyhound is one of my favorites. Floral drink that's smooth w/ just the right amount of sweetness. The Matcha Cheesecake was fully and tasty. Definitely recommend this place. Plenty of parking in the back. We did see a tweaker who is tweaking in the back parking lot. Beware. read more
This place is so good I went twice in a week. Did I mention I live 20 minutes away? The second time I brought a friend and we ordered nearly all the bakery items. It's quite busy with lots of folks bringing their dogs, hanging with family/friends, or doing (home)work. This is the first matcha I've ever had that uses fresh bananas! read more

Dogs + Coffee + Worship + Aesthetics. Can it get any better? I've been here a handful of times. The parking lot is in the back but there's plenty of street parking. The space is open, bright and inviting. Dog friendly with pup cups available. Staff is inviting and nice. They take the time to explain the specialty drinks and recommend one. They have very unique flavors that you might question, but trust the process and order it! My favorite is The Corn Dog and The grey Hound. Don't forget their pastries! My fav is the black sesame cake. They also host worship nights, movie nights and community nights. read more

The earl grey tea was so yummy! A bit on the sweeter side but yummy, nonetheless. The strawberry cold foam drink was also amazing. Plenty of work space inside and the parking is out back :) follow their IG too! There's events on various days of the week! read more
Greeted when entering and received doggy treats for my pup. Cheesecake is fully and airy, not too sweet. Carrot cake is fire, with cream cheese frosting. Lemonade is sweet and refreshing. Not too much lavender flavor. The place is nice but needs maybe some music it's too quiet read more

I absolutely love this place. It's just on the outside of busy downtown Riverside. I was surprised with how much parking was available in the back because I can see the street parking filling up quick during busy hours. This ambiance of this place is simplicity at its finest. I love it, the brightness and the natural lighting coming in from all the windows. Don't forget to take a photo op on the back of the coffee shop. OMG, I'd you love bananas you need to try the banana bread latte. It tastes like you're eating banana pudding. This drink is amazing and doesn't have an artificial banana taste. You need to try this drink. The egg and fruit tart were fresh and delicious. I preferred the fresh and brightness of the fruit tart over the egg tart. The people working the coffee shop are so friendly and answered all my questions because I had never been. They move quickly and make your drinks with love. They definitely deserved a top for the level of service they provided. read more
Came by here on a Saturday morning. there is parking in the back. this is such a spacious coffee shop! There are many tables for people, there is a couch in the back and dog beds too. I love how there was so much sunlight and openness. We ended up getting a few drinks. The barista was helpful when we had questions. no Gen Z stares here. We ended up getting the korean yam latte, double pumpkin latte, buttercup matcha, and a double matcha. All the drinks were really good! I especially enjoyed the korean yam latte, it had a unique flavor. Both matchas were also very good, had a good matcha flavor and were not overly sweet. The pumpkin latte was perfect, it had that cozy in a cup feeling with hints of cinnamon and pumpkin spice. I will be back for sure! read more
