Food/Drink 3/5: Ordered a pistachio frappe and found their regular size drink to be seemingly smaller than most other boba shops. The drink itself was rather icy and chunky instead of a smoother frappe that I'm used to from other shops in the area. However, I did appreciate the bits of pistachio that were mixed into the drink and added a nice crunch and flavor. The boba were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of bounce to them. Service 4/5: Ordering is from a kiosk which limits customizations, but my drink did come out very quickly despite there being multiple orders ahead of mine. Price $$: At $6.50 a drink, I do think the price is a little steep for the size of drink being served. However, I did really appreciate the amount of boba they provided; not too much to overpower the drink, and just enough to have some in every sip. read more

TL;DR Natural flavors, good slushys and boba. Food I always get their misugaru slushy here! I love that it's a slushy. The multi-grain flavor of the misugaru tastes so good with a thick blended ice texture. It tastes very nostalgic to me and it pairs really well with boba! Just purchased a large Mango Boba for the first time. My 10 year old kid was enjoying the drink until she pulled a hair out of her mouth that was in her drink. Whoever is making the boba should be wearing a hairnet because this is completely disgusting and unacceptable read more

Came here ten minutes before closing and the cashier was friendly and professional. She didn't mind us coming in right before closing. I recommend the Strawberry Coconut Shake if you are a fan of the flavor of Reddi-wip Original Whipped Cream because is has a similar base flavor. There are bits of strawberry and the boba was fresh and slightly warm. A deliciously satisfying dessert beverage. read more

Visited BobaHolic on a Wednesday night. Otdered a Hokkaido Milk Tea. I was having trouble with their machine so I ended up ordering in person. Staff was patient and got the order quick in 5 minutes. The drink itself was sweet and bold in vanilla. Only problem was the boba itself was a bit hard to chew on. My other friends liked their drinks and didnt have a problem with theirs. The prices are good and service was quick and easy. That's where the good parts end. The boba itself was too hard. I'm not looking for soft boba- of course it needs bounce. But there's a perfect boba chewiness I've had at other places that this place doesn't have. The flavors were also not great. Two people in my party got the brown sugar fresh milk. Done way better elsewhere. One in my party got strawberry Oreo. So gross nobody else wanted it. Another in my party got Oreo. He said he's had better. I just feel in this day and age where boba shops are a dime a dozen the flavors and boba texture really must stand out for me to return. Would not return here. read more

BOBAHOLIC is located in a center with a lot of other popular eateries so the parking, though large, is a bit busy. There was no line to get in and there were only two parties in front of us in line to order. Not bad for a Saturday night. There were chairs and tables inside and most of them were occupied. The lady taking our order was fast, friendly, helpful and the staff got our order right -- and it was a large 9-drink order. Cute mom and pop boba shop in Buena Park that is across from The Source mall. Plenty of parking and easy to find. There was a nice korean ahjuhmah running the kitchen and counter with a nice worker. Ordered the winter melon, less sweet, large. Just the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness without being watered down. The kiddos liked the strawberry oreo shake which was yummy strawberry ice cream with real strawberries and oreo crumbles blended in. We would definitely recommend and come back if in the area! My go to boba place for 4 years now! I'm in love with their Frosty Milk #4!!! It has caramel, pudding & boba!!! Delicious delicious! I've also tried their cookies & cream!! BOMB! This is the only boba place my boyfriend will ever get his cookies & cream (his words)! They have many great other options!! The tea here is strong and good quality. Most times, I'm disappointed because the tea quality is low but here, they use a good tea and don't water it down and also they use quality syrups instead of powder. We got the lavender milk tea, the rose milk tea with boba, and a mango shake. But the man must heard us wrong and gave us a mango shaved ice instead. When we pointed that out to him, he graciously told us to keep the shaved ice and made us the shake. The shake was great but the shaved ice was incredible! And they give it to you in a drink cup so you can take it to go! It was chock full of mangoes too. If we lived here, we would totally frequent this place every day! read more

Our taiyaki looks so different from before. It was always crispy and crunchy on the outside with a shiny, sweet glaze and chewy on the inside. Worth coming back a second time! Stopped in haphazardly after looking for a different boba place. I'm glad I decided to stop here instead. This place is rather welcoming and in great shape. It is clean and orderly. The ambiance is nice and the music not too loud. A great selection of music was playing overhead - none of that garbage mumble-crap-rap that some places like to blast. BobaHolic appears to be a family ran place. This would be a nice place for many to sip on their drink and chat or maybe come to do some study or surf the web on a laptop. Plugs were available for a charge. As for the drinks, I tried the Boba Milk Tea and the Coffee Boba. Both were absolutely GOOD! The Coffee Boba coupled well with coffee jelly and pudding and thus was quite fantastic! My drink, however, was ordered without boba so I didn't get to try it - I'll have to do that another time. I imagine it would be pretty good too based off how great my drink was made. A tip for those trying out this place for the first time, ask for a sample of what you want to order. I was able to sample two drinks in a small cup before I decide to order one. read more

We grabbed a rose milk tea and a honeydew milk tea. The boba was soft, chewy, and perfectly cooked. The rose milk tea had strong rose flavors and actual rose petal bits. The honeydew milk tea flavor was very prominent too. The drinks were non-dairy based, and delicious. We ordered both in regular sugar, and it was just the right amount of sweetness. Stopped by here before heading to Knotts. We got 3 drinks total, two were ok but one was not. I ordered the orange passion fruit boba tea and it was not good. The orange juice tasted like juice out of a container and same with the passion fruit one. The drink was bitter and the flavors did not mix well. I also got a stomach ache from drinking the drink. Bobaholic recently went through a revamp and love all the new amenities and adjustments it has to off to there customers. There is plenty of seating inside to enjoy a nice treat with a friend or your whole family. The lot has sufficient parking space and the center has a variety of other special treats as well. They have great customer service and love the variety on their menu. You may order in person or they also have a manual pad to input your order for pickup. If you live in Orange County or are coming for a visit come and try one of there many treats. read more

This is literally and by far the worst drink shop I have ever been to. And I use the term drink instead of boba because their boba is so trash I can't even call it boba. It tastes like dirty tap water mixed with sugar. Additionally the red bean shaved ice has coffee in it. That would be nice to know when ordering (the menu is written poorly for interpretation) especially when the person ordering is my 6 year old daughter so excited for shaved ice. I guess it's not common knowledge that kids don't drink coffee? Because anyone with an ounce of common sense would say hey, this has coffee in it do you want to try a different one for your child?! But I guess that's reaching. Overall save yourself the trip unless you enjoy garbage tea and sub par customer service. Of the 100+ boba shops in OC this is one of the absolute worst so do yourself a favor and try a different one down the street. read more

This has become my go-to whenever I visit the area. I have been coming down here for business travel since July so I have almost become a regular lol. I usually come here for a beverage to go with the wagyu order that I make ( on a regular lol). The staff is very kind and helpful. The place is very clean. I don't know anything about their restroom since I typically take my things to go but the place is really nice. I want to say they have convenient charging areas at the tables closest to the wall. That's really cool for people that come by with their laptops for a change of venue while still attached to their work. The only takeaway is that I wish there were more boba options to pair with their beverages. Other than that, it is always a nice place to stop by for boba tea. We bought a strawberry matcha milk tea, an iced vanilla latte, and a watermelon juice. I'm not sure if the watermelon juice is a part of the menu, but they were able to make it for us! So the service is great! The drinks came out really quick after we placed the order, and it was all delicious!! Not too sweet, and they were all refreshing on a warm day in Buena Park. This place is next to my favorite KRN BBQ place and I always come here after to get my fill of dessert! I literally ALWAYS get the taro Oreo.. I mean what is there not to like about that combo! I get is half sweet. I think that is the perfect sweetness level. My husband gets the strawberry coconut at half sweet and it is delicious as well. Both of those drinks are non caffeinated so we get to share it with our kiddos. Boba is yummy, drinks are yummy, I haven't tried anything else other than those two drinks the past 4 times we've been... LOL. Deff a decent spot if you're in the area and want something simple and low key.

I was just like "....ok?". - The lines for the Kiosk/Register is very unorganized, I couldn't tell which one was which, everytime I go there are groups that just like go from behind to squeeze in next to me for their group, even pushing me and not saying excuse me, and they continue being loud. Besides that, just the vibe of the place now is very uncomfortable. If anything, I'll just start ordering online/pick up from now on. I'll still have to deal with those type of people and can't change it, but it's better than waiting and being around those type of individuals

The staff are very nice and welcoming. They offer a wide variety of coffee, with lots of options to choose from. My favorites are the banana milk latte and the corn latte. Both are signature drinks and definitely worth trying. They also have a good selection of baked goods. The scones and garlic bread are especially tasty. The facilities feel a bit outdated and could use some remodeling. The restroom, in particular, is old and not very clean. Service is good. If you order online, they prepare your drink ahead of time and keep it chilled in the fridge until pickup, which is a nice touch.

On top of that, they had already run out of matcha and the menu was extremely limited, which was disappointing considering that's one of the main draws of a place like this. Overall, poor communication and lack of transparency really ruined the experience. I understand delays happen, but being upfront and managing expectations would have made a huge difference. Extremely disappointed. We went to this place a long time ago when they first opened and remembered them having a more extensive menu and it being far better. Sad to see that this place has gone downhill. My family and I will definitely not be coming back again.
