I think this place is alright. Aesthetically, it has nice decor. The rolled ice cream and the apples/mangos covered in chamoy are delicious! However, I have more issues with this place than pleasures. For starters, the service is absolutely terrible. The workers have those "I hate clocking in" attitudes. And whatever you order will most likely take an hour for you to receive it. I could visibly see my toe nails growing, that's how long they take to give you your order. Second, it is so pricy! This review is only of the ice cream. 2 stars because I can appreciate the work that goes into making the rolled ice cream. Problem is, it's not very good. All flavors taste like plain sweet cream. I had a taro flavor and it was essentially purple food coloring and cream. Best thing about it was the fruity pebbles on top. We had 4 ice creams and everyone said the same thing. 4 ice creams cost $30 that is no joke. You can't really find all the prices clearly visible. So I don't live in Modesto and I was looking up boba tea places and saw this place which had good reviews. I also saw they had tamarind apples and mangos!!!!! I couldn't resist because my husband has been telling me about these apples (not from here, just in general) for a long time. I tried the tamarind mango and it was sooooo good!!! The mango was perfectly ripe and fresh, my only advice is the skin is still on the mango I didn't realize until my first bite, as it's under the tamarind coating. FYI I ate the first piece skin and all lol and it was still good, my second piece I ate the coating off with each bite of mango minus the skin, a bit more work but worth it. Lol. I have no clue what the right way is to eat those. My husbands apple is waiting in the fridge for him (and me lol) when he gets home from work. I'm sure it will be equally good. I love the icee, half pineapple and half mango with mango fruit and jelly and he gets the mango crazy tea with mango jelly and both are delicious. Also if you buy 10 drinks you get the 11th drink with a 3 dollar discount -_- .... personally I like that T4 has cheaper drinks, buy 8 and get the 9th drink FREE.... and boba that you can chew.
