Took my children here for a treat, and a treat it was! We got a taro coconut milk with boba and two honey dew coconut milk with boba. All of the drinks were great. The service was friendly and fast. We especially like how they have a bunch of games to play and inviting atmosphere. read more

I'm now on my 6th order from the shack. I wanted to give them 5 stars ..but out of the 6 orders 4 were very good and matched up to what I read I was ordering. I think that's a pretty great ratio. My people.....get the Thai tea or Vietnamese coffee. I got mine with coffee jelly . I love the selections and flexibility you get here . You can literally make anything . I also tried their horchata coffee smoothie recently and it was pretty darn great. The lychee butterfly soda is amazing ..the other lychee drink I tried was okay . The lemon was too strong but that's the only drink I wasn't totally satisfied with . I haven't tried their food items yet because they have so many drinks to choose from. This place isn't a quickly. But where it lacks in that quickly consistency it makes up for in creative menu items and order flexibility. This place will only get better read more

The tea, boba, rolled ice cream, and customer service is amazing! The owners are very bright and cheerful every time I come in. Some of the most kind and genuine people you can meet. My favorites are the Okinawa blended coffee with tapioca boba (add almond milk) and the Taro smoothie with tapioca boba! My favorite rolled ice cream is the cookies and cream with fruity pebbles on top. I look forward to some good conversation with the staff while enjoying a delicious treat. I went to Tea Shack today for the first time with my siblings because I love boba and found out there was a new boba place within walking distance from my house. I drink boba at least twice a month and have tried boba drinks from at least a dozen different places (Quickly's, T4, Happy Lemon, iTea, Sharetea, etc.). These are my pros, cons, and neutrals from Tea Shack! Pros: - Location It's less than half a mile away walking distance which is so convenient! -Menu They have a variety of flavors of different drinks and several options of jelly and popping boba toppings which is nice. Cons: -Location It was hard to find while I was walking because the sign was so small. I had to walk around the plaza for a bit until I could find it. If you're driving, it shouldn't be as much of an issue tho. -Menu Slushie and Smoothie flavors were mixed on the menu, so it was hard to distinguish which flavors were smoothies and which were slushies. Regular boba was not on the list of toppings on the menu, but they do have it. The employee who rang up my order said they were going to update the menu tho! -Wait time Waited ~30 minutes for an order of a matcha smoothie, passion fruit slushie, and taro smoothie, all with regular boba. Currently, they only have one blender and are a new business, so it's understandable! Just a heads up to any customers on a time crunch. -Drink Quality I tasted the taro smoothie and matcha smoothie, both w/ boba. I really liked the taro sweetness but the matcha was too sweet for my taste. My sister tasted the passion fruit slushie and said it was too sweet also. Would be nice to have options for different sweetness! -Seating Very hole-in-the-wall place with a small area inside. Maybe 12-15 chairs but I'm afraid to see what it's like on a crowded day! Neutral: -Price Drinks are in the $4-5.25 range (toppings are additional $.50). Understandable for location and size but I don't think it's worth for the quality. -Boba Quality The boba pearl itself is chewier than I like but not too noticeable if you don't regularly drink a lot of boba. -Customer service No good nor bad lasting impressions about it. Takeaways: It's a convenient place to go if you're walking in the neighborhood and want a cold drink/ice cream with friends. However, I would not drive out of my way to go here compared to other boba places. read more

Probably the worst boba shop I've ever been to. Sorry, but the drink was really bad. I had a taro milk tea. The taro part was chalky, but ok (I got it made with very little sugar), but the boba had absolutely no taste whatsoever. As in...nothing at all!!! The owner said her husband made it and it usually has sugar. I told her it was not very good. Woopsie...maybe you should offer me something else!!! You're the OWNER!!!! This is a cute little boba spot. I visited last night and got three milk teas and wasn't disappointed with any of the flavors I got. Very good milk tea. Ill have come back to try the ice cream rolls. So I stopped for Tasty Thai to grab a dinner to-go, but before I left, I thought: "Hey, that new boba place is open! Some good milk tea would go great with dinner!!" and I walked on in. Such a cute place when you walk in! Wonderful to see another small business open their doors. The owners are so friendly! My favorite flavor of boba tea to get at any place is Taro, so of course I had to "test their mettle" and see if their Taro game was strong. I used to go to T4, but not anymore, after tonight!! Their Taro is far superior, it's smoother, like silk, and the balance between sweet and creamy is on point!! The boba is everything you'd expect from some quality boba pearls.
