Boba lust is my go-to! The service is the best, hands down. The service is so kind, they will always ask you how your day is going and some small talk to really get to know their customers every time. The ambiance is so cute. It is very welcoming, calm and vibes. The drink options are the best and so refreshing. I like how they offer their best drinks with pictures and you can always adjust your sweetness levels. Thank you so much and I look forward to going in all the time. Parking is big. You can enter many ways from either side of the complex.

I had lunch nearby and decided to stop by to try the drinks at BobaLust. As always, I start off my first visit to any new-to-me boba shop with either the signature/house milk tea, or the black milk tea if the former isn't available. BobaLust does have an "OG Milk Tea" so I went with that. OG Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice w/ Honey Boba ($6.36) - This drink is extremely sweet even at 50% sweetness - it's probably around full sweetness or possibly 150% when compared to average boba shop. There's an almost fruity taste to the drink, not sure if it's from the tea or sweetener. The drink itself is thicker, so quite a bit of creamer is used to build bulk. The honey boba definitely has that classic honey boba texture - an exterior that has a certain stickiness that keeps keeps the skin of the boba together well. Unfortunately, the boba is quite a bit harder than I normally like. I'm a big fan of what a honey soak does to boba texture - this place just needs a longer cook time and the boba would be fantastic. I think if I had gotten the drink at 10% sweetness, the drink might have been better. But as it stands, it's just way too sweet with hard boba and I can't give the drink higher than a 3. To be honest, I was debating giving it a 2, but with how rare it is to find honey boba outside of California, I bumped it up. On another note, BobaLust claims they use a special tea extractor to maximize the tea flavor. Other boba shops that use espresso machines or similar to brew tea usually have many varieties of high quality teas. The fact that BobaLust has such a small tea menu and generically labels things as black and green tea makes me very suspicious about the brand identity of this chain. Why spend money on a more sophisticated brewing method when BobaLust is more like a generic pre-brew-in-large-batches type of shop?

Went during the grand opening weekend so inevitably the place is clean. Friendly staff as well. They should consider some music and board games to keep customers preoccupied if they want to stay. No complaints about the boba either! They can substitute slushie/milk tea with non-dairy (like oat milk). My favorite is the Purple Galaxy! You can never go wrong with it!

Happy to see a bobalust in my area finally. Been coming to this location since they opened up in Lynnwood. The Legend of Momo always hits. Today, I decided to get the Thai Green Tea and then came back again to get the Thai Tea. Solid drinks with the option to adjust sweetness and ice. Great options of toppings to go in your drinks as well. Service is fantastic and friendly. They're very helpful and bring out the order super fast. The decor is very clean, vibrant, and I appreciate the green plants that accents the room. Definitely will be returning here with friends to hang and chill again. Solid!

A cute boba spot with a variety of flavors! I loved the star-shaped fruits in the drinks--such a fun touch. The place is tidy, the service is quick, and the drinks are super refreshing. The mango drink was my favorite. Definitely worth a visit if you are near alderwood mall!

A very solid boba spot tucked across from alderwood mall and target. We love the interior with all the beautiful plants. Service is very good and they even bring your drink to your table. Happy to support this lovely business.

I love boba so I am more than open to trying new boba places. Unfortunately my experience was not the best. Upon almost finishing my drink there was a hair in it. I post this so that the staff making the drink maybe can put their hair back so that this does not happen again.

drinks were great!! super flavorful and not overly sweet! big layout inside and even had some games to play while you're sipping on your drink!

    Purple Galaxy

Amazing slushes! Tried the Lychee Bomb and Sunburst so good! Trying the Purple Galaxy right now and it's the perfect blend of Taro and chocolate. You need to try them this summer! Service was amazing, each time I have went everyone was so nice and it's really clean.

Just stopped by BobaLust while passing through town and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is so fun and chill. I loved all of the plants. I believe we were served by the owner and he was so friendly and engaged. He made great recommendations and even made sure to have us try our drinks before we left to ensure we were happy with the sweetness levels. I ordered the taro milk tea half sweet and it was just right. The boba were nice and chewy, just how I like them. The only note I have would be that the tables in the lobby don't feel too stable.

Love how bobalust opened up in Lynnwood. Convenient location next to the mall with good parking. Lots of seating and friendly service. The drink was great, I just didn't like the size and texture of the boba. It felt like half the size compared to other places and was flat tasting. I'd come back though.

My Black sugar drink was delicious. The tea could be stronger. I should've asked for less sugar. My friend said his taro smoothie was powdery and not well blended. 2/5 but really you should expect and want that from a taro drink... Excellent speedy service Beautifully clean shop

I asked for their most popular dessert, the guy at the register said it was the ube basque so I ordered it, to go. The flavor was good but I disliked the amount of food coloring used. The purple color was quite exaggerated and my stomach complained about it later on. I noticed a similar intensity with the green color of the pistachio option. I should've known better and order something else but I was tempted by it since I was told it was their best selling option. Sadly and very disappointed, I later discovered on their website that this ube basque is not even shown on their menu! Apparently, croffles are their most popular desserts... I don't understand why they didn't tell me that... but whatever. Intense food dye + lack of honesty with the recommendation = Hence the 3 stars.

Fortunately, there was no traffic so it was a 20 min drive easily. However, a lot seemed to have changed from about a year ago? We got popcorn chicken which was $9 for a very tiny plate (like the medium size sampler food container you get at food tasting events) which is a joke of a portion, and the chicken was not even good quality - heavy on the batter. Compared to pictures a year ago, where the portions looked much much larger. They are so stingy on the amount of chicken, that I thought they were giving us a sample to try before they make a real batch lmaooooo. I tried the Kocochi milk tea with creme brulee, boba, jelly, etc. Sounds good on paper, inflation I get it, was expecting $7 but it was $8, plus tax, so it is actually not that competitive of a price anymore now that I think about it. I could get a very good quality boba drink for $7.50+tax elsewhere without all the fancy toppings, but with boba included. I was pretty disappointed with the quality. The boba is so overcooked that it is mushy, and the creme brulee was not thick enough that I have to use a spoon to even be able to get any of it out (instead of being able to drink it from the other side which is what it is supposed to be). I'd avoid this place unless this is a one off but I will need to be redeemed a better experience before recommending this place. There are better options in the area

I'm a creature of habit and often stuck to the other side of the complex. I did not realize that One Bite Cafe took over the former Great Harvest Bread. I had checked out One Bite Cafe before in Seattle's Roosevelt neighborhood out of curiosity regarding croffles, but it didn't not leave a lasting impression at the time (open since 2019, with that visit in July 2022). However, when The College Friend set up a meet up at the Lake Forest Park site yesterday (open since May 2022, this visit on 4/9/26). There is an interior entry from the two level retail area and an exterior entry adjacent to the big shared parking lot. It took me a few tries until I found a spot. I was kindly greeted upon entry while the counter person was assisting the customer ahead of me. I ordered and paid directly on the convenient touch screen kiosk located to the left of the main register. I liked the interior transformation. Lots of onsite seating configurations and pleasant decor. Overhead music played the Beatles, which was a pleasant surprise. The wrap around pastry cases with well placed menu placards showed the variety of menu offerings. There's a wide variety of bevs, sweet and savory pastries, desserts, sandwiches, and even gluten free items from NuFlours. I ordered a 22oz iced classic milk tea with 75% sweetness and no toppings, plus some Korean sausage bread. The College Friend decided on a toasted Reuben with chips. We also shared a Portuguese egg tart. We were onsite for three hours. I noticed a constant stream of customers who also dined onsite, as well as, folks getting items to go. I appreciated observing the consistent pleasant and helpful counter staff, all with welcoming smiles! I learned that One Bite Cafe has grown to four sites: Seattle/Roosevelt, Lake Forest Park, Woodinville, and Federal Way. That's great to see ongoing success for this local, indie cafe chain. Lake Forest Park Town Center is lucky to have a variety of cafe, bar, and restaurant destinations. One Bite Cafe gets a collective 5 star for this first time visit.

The cafe is nice and there's a couple of places in the back where you can sit and enjoy your treats. We got a couple of things to try: Mango croffle 5/5 -- love the flavor love the texture, crunchy outside, soft inside. Mango was refreshing Black sesame cake -- 4.5/5 --- it was very black sesame flavor which I like. The cake was also soft, a little dry and grainy but not too bad. Blueberry egg tart 3/5: not crispy, the blueberry didn't really do anything. Apple cookie 3/5: soft cookie, didn't get any apple flavor. Spicy crab onigiri and beef bulgogi onigiri: 2.5/5 - crumbles apart and was not sturdy, also kinda pricey Lemon scone 1/5: dry, no lemon flavor at all. Service could be better as well. It looks like everything needs to be prep in the kitchen, so once you order on the tablet, the guy disappear to prep the food and there's no one in the front counter. Overall, I would come back for the croffle and cake but nothing else

In long This is part of my new regular tour of Edmonds coffee spots since I'm down here a time or two a week these days. Ladro has lots of fans and it's easy to see why, even if the smaller mom-and-pop places get higher rates around here. Ladro deserves credit for doing everything right. This is an older strip mall, probably built around the time that phrase was coined. Wide variety of businesses, wonky shapes and angles in the parking lot. Inside, there's the big coffee bar on one side, and tables and chairs over there. They have some merch for sale, including plenty of choices among their own house-roasted beans. Lots of blends, and even a few interesting-looking single-origin bags, too. Not any cheaper than the big premium roasters charge. I'd have to try some of the beans before I could say if that seems justified, but I bet it might be. You can order ahead, but not only did I choose to order manually, I went inside and looked the poor kids in the eye. They all seemed to enjoy each others' company, and their nice work environment translates into a nice ambiance for relaxing with a cup. I ordered chai lattes to go, and they were boiling hot and tasted like they were from a tea bag (not the sugar-bomb concentrate that some places use). I also had a brown butter scone that was great even at room temp. They didn't get overly chatty making the drinks, but they were definitely friendly, and everything was ready quickly. Nice kid clocking off for the day even held the door for me as we went out, given that my hands were full. Honestly, if you didn't know this was a chain (albeit a small, local one), you'd think this place existed simply to caffeinate locals in the neighborhood. Everything about it has that nice neighborly, next-door vibe. They don't have anything quirky about them, really, and that huge pastry case is definitely not filled by on-site bakeries at every location. But it all still FEELS like a friendly spot down the street from home. 2 coffees and a scone were about $20 before tip. Could be better, could be worse. I'd definitely come back.
