2nd time having this food, used a delivery service both times. 1st time) I ordered, 1/4 smoked, white meat chicken, fried pickles and candied yams. The chicken was the size of a big pigeon, the yams were of the standard canned variety, not bad but no different then you'd fix for a Tues night dinner, the pickles had a good amount of tasty breading so, I was ok with that. The BBQ sauce was very good. 2nd time) I ordered, brisket, mac & cheese and fried okra, now I asked for extra bbq sauce (cuz it was good) and some ranch to dip the okra in. The brisket was OK, some spots were very dry and chewy, others very tender but they didn't put enough BBQ sauce on the meat, the okra were mostly the tops of the pods so they were chewy and the breading was tasteless, it REALLY needed the ranch dressing, the mac & cheese was....um, nope! WTH was that!!??? Greasy, clumpy, spots of white "cheese" and ziti noodles, with onions and bread or crackers in it!!! Just, nope! They didn't give me the requested bbq or ranch sauces, hell they didn't even give me cutlery or a dang napkin!!!!! I can't saw anything about the food here because I never got to try it. I ordered a simple Brisket Sandwich. Not too difficult, right. Apparently it is here. At the time, Saturday afternoon, about 2:45. They had 4 customers at the time and 6 employees. They had so little to do, they just walked around and slowly. I saw the supervisor when two orders came out of the kitchen for which they could not find customers. This led to more confusion as they tried to figure out why. After waiting 25 minutes for my one sandwich, they came to me and asked what I was waiting for. Then they couldn't find the order, acted like they never heard of it. At this point, I left. I simply couldn't wait any longer. I didn't even ask for a refund. I just imagined what hassle that would have been. Let them keep the money. It was worth it to find out how hopeless this place is. I ordered a 1/2 rack, Mac n cheese, and fries. Though the food was good, it was not worth the experience. We Got there at 12:30. Food was not served until 2:00. I don't know how this place is still open. The service is horrible, no one should have to wait that long for food. I could have killed a cow and made my own ribs in the time it took them to prepare my food. My (+1) went back to work hungry. I took her food to go. This is usually my go-to quick-service BBQ place for the area, and the food is great and decently priced. However, service could be improved. I'm disappointed they removed online ordering - I called and got put on hold for just under 5 minutes, but still a long time to just be waiting on a silent phone line. I give this place a 3.5. I couldn't figure out the half. I ordered from here this evening. instead of my go to BBQ place. The portions are good. However, the wings are not smoked as opposed to grilled. The BBQ sauce has a good taste. The tea bags for the sweet tea were brewed too long you can taste it. I could order again. Sooooo, each time I order , my order is incorrect... the restaurant is like 8 minutes from my home so making a second trip to the location to fix my order wasn't to big of a deal... but who wants to order food , get home , the order not be right and turn around and go back to the restaurant to wait an additional 30 minutes or longer for them to fix your order.... Us, the cosmetology crew at northmeck, get Bobbee O's bbq delivered at least once a week. After placing an order we called back because we heard the wrong total ($74 instead of 64.02)We called back and were greeted with a rude cashier who was "tired" of us asking questions and kept hanging up in our faces. Not only did she huff&puff, she chucked and sucked her teeth, and even added an "oh my god". We canceled our order after being hung up on at least 3 times due to bad service and called back to speak to the manager. Apparently the "manager" (who conventionally sounded like the same rude cashier), instead of dealing with the issue of bad service, said they couldn't deliver to us any more. This is not the way to run a business and we are not ordering again. You have lost our service. read more

I held for a total of 8 minutes which was the entire it took me to make it to the restaurant. Very unhappy with poor customer service. Went for lunch. Always a lot of cars in the parking lot which I consider to be a good sign. Dining room has great decore and was very clean. Ordered the brisket and pulled pork plate. This is the kind of business I love to support and I hate to even leave a negative review. However, the meat portion sizes were quite small. I eat at a lot of BBQ joints and this was the least amount of meat I have ever seen on my "plate". The sauce is fantastic and the Pork had a good smokey flavor. The brisket was very fatty for sliced brisket. In fact, it was mushy in spots and was of less quality than I have had even on brisket sandwiches. Let's start with the wait. I came in at lunchtime and like other reviews very disorganized and super slow. New waitress and she struggles with where things were at and how to handle many customer issues as I watched from my booth, she was nice and trying but appeared lack of training. Now on to the food l, I ordered the brisket with beans, Mac n cheese and hush puppies. The beans are ordinary which I was looking forward to. The Mac n cheese was good, different cheese and pasta. The hush puppies were quite tasty,nothing special but good. The brisket was fatty and chopped up a bit. Guessing chef was on a hurry as the line Began to go to the door and order times were 30 min+ , the other concern is the kids size mason jar, refills every other drink.. overall the food is 3.5-4 stars. Love, love, LOVE this place! I've never been to the location as I always order delivery... I do pay an extra delivery fees but it is soooooo worth it! The meat is tender and perfectly seasoned. All the sides actually taste like they've been made fresh. I don't think I could even pick a favorite side. I always get brisket and ribs... and let me tell you, yum! It's always packaged nicely and the drivers have been very polite. I'm currently visiting from VA and just had to get some before going back up north. I love coming to Bobbee O's for lunch. It is right near my office off Harris Blvd. near Northlake Mall. It's one of the better BBQ restaurants in the city and a great location near I-77. Any excuse or reason I have to make a trip down to North Carolina I always need to make a stop at Bobbee Os. So far one of the best bbq food I have ever had! My favorite is the Pork ribs, beef brisket, with a side mac and cheese, beans, and collard greens. My fiance had the pull pork and chicken which is also sooooo good! We pulled up on a Saturday night for an early valentine's day dinner and they were dead. We were going to leave but we decided to try some place new and stick with our original idea. Let me tell you, I'm glad we stayed. The macaroni salad was the best EVER. Baked beans were great. My husband loved the greens and I agree, they were spot on. Brisket was so moist and the ribs and chicken were both fall of the bone and flavorful on their own without sauce.
