DON'T BUY HERE!!!!!!!! I had bought a 2001 Camry Solara from here 3 days ago thinking it's was gonna be a reliable A to B car but he completely F*** me over !!!! Right after I bought the car not even less than 5 miles down the road the front of the engine started smoking white!! I pulled over and called Bobby to see what the problem is, he told me everything fine it's just the extra fluids burning off. So I took is word and drove it all the way back to Tampa to take it to a mechanic. Once I got to the mechanic he told me how much of a bad dead I got and how Bobby screwed me over!! The mechanic told me ITS NOT EVEN SAFE FOR ME TO DRIVE!!! 3 THOUSAND DOWN THe DRAIN!!!!

I would like to share a recent experience that I had at Walker Ford…read more I have purchased three vehicles from Walker in the past, dating all the way back to the early 2000s, and I was anticipating another good experience when I went to the dealership a few weeks ago. My husband and I are ( were) in the market for a 2025 F150. We wanted to take advantage of the 0% interest for 60 months incentive. We stopped into the dealership on March 14th. Jake met us as we arrived. We spent about an hour looking at the inventory and narrowing down the trucks that were of interest to us. ( XLT, 2WD, 4 door crew cab). Jake handed us a piece of paper when we left with the trucks VIN number and price. During the next 2 weeks, we visited other dealerships and I was in communication with Jake asking various questions about the truck at Walker. We decided to purchase the truck at Walker. I called Jake and asked him to send me the proposal so I could give him a deposit. He said that we could do the bulk of the paperwork electronically, which we were happy about. When I received the proposal, the price of the vehicle was inflated almost $14,000. I called him immediately. He told me that the Internet price was only available if we paid cash! At no time, EVER, in my talking with him, my texting with him or looking at the trucks in person did he tell me that the Internet price was only available if we paid cash. In fact, he knew that we were looking at the 2025's to take advantage of the 0% interest. When I questioned him about this in detail, he said it was on the website. I looked over the website, and unless it's buried in some tiny fine detail, It's not obvious that paying cash is the only way to get an Internet price. We were extremely surprised and obviously disappointed. Does it really matter to a dealership if I pay cash or if I finance the vehicle? Either I'm paying you for the car or the bank is. How I pay for it, should be irrelevant. The worst part about the whole experience was a statement that Jake made at the end of our phone conversation. Jake said..."When you go to another dealership and they screw you over worse, you can give me a call". Since the early 2000s, anytime I've purchased a vehicle with Walker Ford, it has been a good experience This time, not so much

Danielle and I wanted to take a moment to personally thank everyone at Mercedes-Benz of Clearwater and Mercedes-Benz USA for once again delivering an experience that went far beyond just purchasing a vehicle. This latest vehicle marks our 4TH purchase together from Mercedes-Benz of Clearwater and my 7TH overall Mercedes-Benz purchase -- and not one single experience has ever been anything less than outstanding. What made this one even more special was that this vehicle was actually Danielle's birthday and anniversary gift from me. The entire dealership team was unaware of that during the process, yet somehow everyone naturally came together and made the entire experience feel even more meaningful, personal, and unforgettable for both of us. From the moment you walk through the doors, you feel the difference. Professionalism. Respect. Attention to detail. Communication. Follow-through. Most importantly... people who genuinely care. A very special thank you to: * Greig Larsen -- someone I've now had the privilege of knowing and working with for well over 20 years. In a world where relationships sometimes come and go, Greig has always remained consistent, honest, patient, knowledgeable, and someone who truly understands that relationships matter more than transactions. * Carolyn in Finance -- organized, professional, and always making the process smooth and comfortable. Danielle and I truly appreciated your kindness, patience, and professionalism throughout every step. We especially enjoyed the conversations we shared when you told us you had just returned from your trip to the Keys. It was such a joyful moment being able to share stories, laughs, and experiences together beyond just the paperwork and business side of things. * Josh, the General Manager, Wes, the New Car Manager, and Frank, the Assistant Sales Manager -- thank you for all the years of professionalism, leadership, and friendship. Danielle and I truly appreciate the relationships we've built with all of you over the years. At this point, you are more than a dealership team... you're part of the family now. * Stephen in Service -- thank you for helping guide this purchase in the right direction and helping us navigate what was truly the best path forward for our situation. Your professionalism, honesty, communication, and willingness to help meant far more to us than simply "service." You helped bring clarity and comfort to an important decision for our family, and we genuinely appreciated your involvement throughout the process. * The Concierge Department -- thank you for taking the time to patiently walk us through this new vehicle, helping us understand all the technology, features, setup, and personalization so Danielle could comfortably drive away feeling confident and excited. You made sure every detail was handled properly, every question was answered, and that we walked out the door with everything feeling absolutely perfect. * The Detail Team -- Danielle and I are incredibly grateful and thankful for the care, effort, and pride you took at the very end of the day to make this vehicle flawless. It was obvious everyone was nearing closing time, yet not one step was missed. Every detail was handled with precision, timing, and professionalism. You took on the challenge of making this vehicle perfect for my wife, and it showed in every inch of the car when we drove away. That level of care does not go unnoticed. Danielle told me after getting home how comfortable and special she felt through this experience, and to me, that says everything. Luxury isn't just the vehicle... it's how people make you feel throughout the experience. If you're looking for something different... something professional yet personal... go see the team at Mercedes-Benz of Clearwater. They continue to prove why relationships and integrity still matter in business. We are grateful, thankful, and humbled to continue being part of the Mercedes-Benz family. G & D Chambers

Just bought a car..but please read: Hertz car sales offer 2…read moretypes of sales: Cars that are Hertz certified and on the lot and Cars that are rent to own, still in the rental pool but are ready to be pulled. Both offer preset pricing, so no haggling. Fiirst, their web site sucks. It is slow, search parameters do not correctly reflect options on the cars. I found a 2013 Infinity JX35, 17k miles at a great price! but website did not indicate Navigation. I called around within HERTZ and NO one could tell me whether it did or did not. As I was coming in from out of town, I did not want to get there and find out the car did NOT have navigation. I ended up calling the Sarasota location (even though the pick up was at a Tampa location) and within an hour these guys got me the details. As a result, I flew in from Chicago and did the rent to own, and 3 days later, I am in the process of buying the car. While I was down there, I met John and all of the sales guys..I typically HATE car sales guys, but these guys were great! and knowledgeable about the cars and process. Here is the letter I wrote to the general manager: SUBJECT: John Coyle --an example of excellent customer service Jeries- I have been using Hertz Sales web site to search for my next car purchase over the last month. I have found that the site's search results do not accurately reflect the options/features that vehicle actually has. Earlier this week, I found a 2013 Infinity JX30 that is under the 'rent to buy' program. It indicated that the car was out of the Tampa sales office (I am located in Chicago). I have called customer service a couple of times and they apparently can only see what the customer sees...so they could NOT confirm whether the unit I am interested in had Navigation. So I called a Tampa sales office and talked to John Coyle. He said that the sales location he is at is not currently involved in the 'rent-to-buy' program, but he would be happy to help me get answers to my questions. He took my name, number and the car's unit and VIN numbers and said he would follow up. In less than an hour, John called me back and said he had talked to a department that confirmed that the original invoice for 'my' car indicates it had Navigation. Additionally, he went on to make sure I understood the warranty differences when buying a 'rent-to-buy' vs buying a Hertz certified vehicle. I feel that John went above and beyond, especially considering his office does not even offer the 'rent-to-buy' program..and hence, his office will not 'get the sale'. His knowledge of the program and the process is excellent and he made sure I understood everything. He got me answers that no one else seemed to be able to provide me. Bottom line, because of John, I am reserving the vehicle with all intentions to purchase it. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or clarifications. Thank You!

Lo and behold Mike Bennett has returned to the dealership after the last two plus years away from the fold. As had previously been the case, Mike is totally on top of things and as detail oriented as it gets. All I can say is that Tasca is very lucky to have such a hard worker...One small example is when he asked whether I was gonna wait for my car or no. He then went quickly thru the advantage and disadvantage of both. While I already knew I was not going to wait, these small details are what made Dick Norris a great dealership for keeping my Athena car up and running. It continues now with the Tasca name and so long as the rest of this dealership keeps it going in the same direction...uh: I find myself happy yet simultaneously shocked to offer kudos and praise to a car dealership. Meanwhile, here is where I bought my Athena car brand new a few years back (thanks to Mickey). Here continues to be where I have her taken care of too...and that's that.
