The food is always very delicious. It's hard driving home due the wonderful aromas. The fu young and the pot stickers are especially tasty.

We found this place on accident last night, so glad we did! Ruby was so helpful and helped us navigate the menu. We grabbed the family serving and little did we know it was a lot of freaking food (kind of misleading when it says minimum 2 person to order) .. with that family dinner you get an entree for each person, steamed, and/or pork fried rice, small cup of soup and appetizers. It was legit a lot of food. The food was delicious. The best effin teriyaki chicken I have had, and I have had teriyaki chicken overseas . Wonton Soup (had dumplings) divine. I am very upset with the owners. It appears they have gotten rid of all employees except family. Over charging for delivery and want cash upfront for pickup. I wanted to support them and give a large tip to the workers. Very upset to find everyone is except family. I have been eating here since 2008 and it's clear to me that they are cutting corners and the potions are much smaller than ever, this is still the best Chinese food in the San Tan Valley area but the mistakes made in recent orders and much smaller portions are not sitting well with me. Try this place for the first time tonight... I've heard good things on the Santan Valley page etc. so we decided to give it a shot... Big mistake! Got the family plate and I do have to say that the eggrolls and wontons and shrimp for enjoyable however the shrimp was a half a piece of shrimp cut lengthwise and a ton of tempura batter. The Mongolian beef had a brown sauce much like beef and broccoli, and had no Mongolian beef flavor and no tiny bit of sweetness like a normal Mongolian beef dish. The sesame chicken was so heavily breaded that you had to cut open the pieces just to find a little tiny piece of chicken inside. The sauce begin to cool it began to turn into liquid Carmel we're literally was sticking to your teeth when you ate it and making it impossible to even lift up the pieces of chicken off of the plate. Best Chinese food in the area. My favorite is their egg foo young. It's as good as the best I've had, including NYC's China Town. Their portions are always generous and their ingredients are fresh. They also don't skimp. For example, their pork fried rice has a generous amount of pork and their egg rolls are large, fat and flavorful. I often get delivery and it always arrived hot and the portions are just as generous as when I have eaten in their restaurant. So glad they in the neighborhood. Went back yesterday 6/29/2020 for takeout. Unfortunately, the young lady behind the counter was not wearing a mask or gloves. They couldn't find our house...so they just left without calling. Even though I said to call if they had any problems. We ended up having to get in our cars, wake up my 5 month old, to go and track the driver down. It was one of those nights when we didn't feel like going out. So we did a search, and ordered from Bobo. What a mistake. The first sign of a problem was they delivered the food within ten minutes of our order. I appreciate prompt service, but getting it in ten minutes is a bit suspicious, especially when we live 5 minutes away from the place. The driver quickly scurried away before I could say anything. The second sign of a problem was when we opened the containers and discovered that they had brought us white rice instead of the fried rice we ordered. But that was only the begining of the nightmare. The soup was totally lacking in flavor. The pot stickers were burnt and hard as a rock, with sauce that was as thin and tasteless as water. The egg rolls were also over cooked and hard as rocks. All in all, the food was barely edible. My guess is that this food was leftover from lunch, and they tossed it into the microwave and delivered it to us. If this wasn't a delivery and we were in their store, we would not have accepted this, but the delivery man was long gone before we discovered the horrors. Avoid this place and order a pizza instead. read more

Today was my first trip to Bobo. I was nervous because it is chinese food in a small shopping center, but it's close to my house. Don't let the lack of interior designing fool you. As a Thai girl who loves to cook...i find the food here is amazingly fresh and delicious! I ordered the large hot and sour soup. Very tasty, good flavor. The shrimp instead of chicken (or chicken feet) was interesting but it didn't affect the flavor, just different. I had the chicken lettuce wraps. Also very good. Not as salty as p.f. chang's. What is chinese take out without some noodles? The chow mein noodles with chicken were so delicious and savory! It reminded me of the stir fry noodles served on the streets of Bangkok. Good flavor with a nice seared or smoky flavor. If that makes sense. I ordered the orange chicken and my husband had the beef and garlic sauce, which he really liked. Good flavor with fresh sliced carrots and whole snow peas. Each meat dish comes with white rice. (Which i didnt eat because i make my own steamed rice at home, like a good asian. Jk. Plus I assumed it was family sized portions for sharing & I wanted to save $ on rice) My orange chicken was not your typical small nugget sized pieces. We're talking large chicken strips smothered in a delicious orange sauce! Mouth watering everything! I was very pleased with my food and money well spent. I read about their friendly customer service and... I have to agree. I called for directions and Jay was so kind. He ended with "if you get lost please call us okay?" Also, they were kind enough to put my large order in a cardboard box! So it was easier to carry. Next time I will take advantage of the FREE delivery service. That's right FREE DELIVERY! On the positive side - very friendly staff - family owned and run business. Portions are very large. Combinations give you soup, egg roll, cream cheese egg roll, rice and entree. Soups came out very hot - which I like. Economically priced - based on what you received. On the less than positive side - we ordered the Beef and Broccoli and Kung Pao Shrimp. Hot tea was very generic. Beef and Broccoli had excessive oil in it. Okay flavor in a brown sauce - should have told them no MSG. Kung Pao Shrimp had good flavors since all the vegi's where fresh but the sauce again was heavy. They put soy sauce on their white rice - they should ask the customer what they want rather than deliver this. We will keep exploring for other STV Chinese. read more

This was my first experience with Bobo China. I was looking specifically for a Chinese delivery. So I can't comment on the restaurant itself but the gentleman that answered the phone was very polite, courteous even friendly. He said it would be about 30-45 minutes to receive my order (which in STV is pretty normal for most delivery food) and it showed up right on time, hot and FRESH. The Delivery guy was a sweetie too. I ordered: pot stickers, beef & broccoli, pork chow mein, sweet & sour chicken and shrimp in Garlic sauce. The food was hot, very fresh and "authentic" to what I was used to ordering. While the food was good Chinese, it wasn't unique or especially different from the other Chinese place I frequent STV but it was good and they delivered which was my biggest pro in ordering with them last night. Just ordered deleted very for the first time, we got the orange chicken, beef with broccoli, hot and sour soup, crab angels and pot stickers. My only real complaint is that he hot and sour soup wasn't very good. I had to add a lot of salt to it to get it to be close to good. The orange chicken and beef with broccoli were yummy, my kids chewed down on the crab Angels and I enjoyed the pot stickers. Delivery was super fast. I will order again in the future but will likely not get the hot and sour soup again. It was far too bland. Overall it was not the best Chinese food I've ever had but also definitely not the worst. Just tried for the first time tonight. The other 'Chef' in town is not good. Trusty Yelp led me here. It is not as convenient as others but 4 stars meant I had to try it. I ordered the Szechuan Pork Combo which gets you rice, crab 'pillow'(aka rangoon), egg roll & Soup! For once the veggies were not just broccoli stalks and green peppers if you know what I mean. The pork was plentiful and tasty. The Hot & Sour soup was mild by my description...it could have been hotter & more sour but was decent and didn't smell like dirty socks ;-). I think there was no shortage of sodium so that just meant I didn't add Soy sauce. This is not Flo's so do not compare them. This is good, fast chinese, at a decent price in STV. read more

Have been there several times- and would consider it a nice little restaurant. Staff has always been very friendly and attentive. Food is good, not great but good and it seems like the portions for dine-in are a little better than takeout. They have some nice lunch specials that include soup, cheese won ton and a spring roll. Very casual restaurant, small not many tables, they do have carryout and delivery. We will continue to eat there from time to time, would like to see one or two dishes that are unique to the restaurant and not the same food every Chinese restaurant has. read more

Just had delivery for the second time. Having grown tired of the other Chinese places in STV. ( food being hard as a rock and double cooked yuk) Bobo's was so good. The food was freshly prepared. Delivery was prompt. Normally once a family throws a delivery option for dinner after 6:30pm. You gotta think it's gonna take at least an hour or more.... Will anyone die of starvation from now till then??? Door bell rang 30 minutes later! Table wasn't even set lol All of our entrees were really really good. 1. Omg we order from these people all the time, Never have we had a complaint. The day we do they can't even fix it. We ordered spicy chicken broccoli and other stuff. So we get hm and there is dish is not spicy at all, that the kids were able to eat it and they did. We called to complain and first they said they would send use a new order then they call and said no they will just send the hot sauce... WTH. REALLY. We found them on Yelp for a quick take out. We ordered 5 different combos and an extra order of crab wantons and pork fried rice w/o drinks. The total bill was under $50. If I could I would give the 3.5 stars, my expectations are high for 4 and 5 stars. The sweet and sour shrimp and chicken was a little heavy on the breading but over all flavor was good. Orange chicken had a little kick to it which is why I actually liked it, I'm not normally an orange chicken fan. Mongolian beef was good with a rich flavor. Lo mien noodle with beef was ok too.
