The first time we ordered beef lo mein and it was so much food and delicious! The amount of food for the cost was amazing in my opinion. We finally found it!!!!! We have been looking for good New York Chinese food, especially chow mein with crispy noodle (soft noodles in the dish is Lo mein not chow mein). Well when I called this in the gentleman on the phone clearly reminded me of that (yay). The vegetable chow mein was very good , the broccoli was crunchy which I like but hubby not as much. The vegetable fried rice was great. The flavor and freshness was on point. The bbq ribs were meaty and tasty. The chicken Szechuan was very good as well. Nice veggies and good sauce. It's okay to order when you're busy and don't have time to cook. But depending on who is answering the phone, they'll charge you full price for sides when you ask for alternatives. I feel like they do this intentionally to get your bill as high as possible. I also called during the lunch specials and they charged me full price dinner prices. I do prefer the crab puffs from here though and like most Chinese food dishes, there is always enough for leftovers. Decided to order some lunch via Uber Eats and was really craving some good orange chicken that tasted similar to Panda Express. I read some of the raving reviews here and on google. I was very disappointed when my food arrived. The shrimp fried rice tasted burnt and the eggs in the fried rice were actually burnt the shrimp was overcooked. The orange chicken was hot when it arrived but it tasted overcooked rubbery and like they gave me food that had been sitting under a heating light for hours. There's nothing better than fresh orange chicken right out the wok but this was not that. Asian City if you see this review please for the foreseeable future do not give your customers food that has been sitting for hours. We want our food made fresh to order! That food tasted so bad I threw it all in the trash after taking two bites inedible. I really do not understand the 4 star rating. read more

We've been to Asian City a couple of times now and the food has been good! It's a quaint little spot with only a few tables but at the times we've gone, it has been busy. They also accommodate take-out orders which probably keeps them busy, but we've always gotten our orders pretty quickly. They have a variety of menu items with appetizers, fried rice, chow mein, chicken / shrimp / beef dishes, and more. I usually get Kung Pao chicken at most Chinese spots so I wanted to try it here as well. My husband and I both ordered their combination platters which come with the entree, fried rice, and an egg roll. It was a great deal and there was quite a bit of food.
