We were driving from Virginia to Maine and our 2003 Toyota Avalon would not start the next morning after staying at a hotel. Bob arrived in 15 min, really nice guy. On the way to dropping us off at the nearest Toyota dealer I was explaining how the car was acting and he said, "wait, I just saved you $500" he jumped out, popped the hood and cleaned our battery connectors. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!!!! I had an extremely unpleasant phone call with Jim. He's very rude. I put my boyfriends phone number for later in the day in case I wasn't home from work. Immediately he calls me and speaks to me and i ask how his day is going to be polite and he says not well because "your boyfriend isn't answering my calls". He was talking to me like I was ten years old and added in dramatics how he called my boyfriend "multiple times" with no answer (he only called once) and when he called me I immediately picked up the first time. There was no reason to be this rude to me at 9:00 am and it totally threw me off. Unfortunately I had to use their towing through State Farm which I will not be doing any longer. I'd rather use anyone else at this point. Being just plain nice goes a long way. They towed my car because the police called them to tow off of a main road. Once paid they were completely unhelpful. By law AAA is to supposed to remove a car off of a tow company's property and still they did not want to help out AAA. The car was placed in a precariously awkward position. Anyway horrible experience but still got my car out without there help. Now had I wanted them to tow it where it was going bet you they would have been very accommodating. lol truly they don't deserve a start but seeing as I have no choice they get 1 read more

getting In an accident is one of the traumatizing experiences you can have. This autobody shop helped ease some of the aggravation. They came immediately to tow my car and provided me with an honest price to repair it. Will always go back to them! I will never trust anywhere else the way I can trust this place. If I could give zeros I would. I have roadside service with my insurance company and needed my truck towed. They sent Bob's as one of their service providers. Well they arrived a later than what was estimated by my insurance company. In their defense they called letting me know they were running late. That's the only thing they did right. They picked up my truck (a very expensive vehicle I might add) and drop it off almost 2 hours later at the wrong dealer in the wrong town. I would like to know where he was with my truck when the dealer he dropped off to is only 9 miles from my house. Dropped it off without any information as to whom it belonged too. That dealer was waiting for someone to call. This was yesterday Friday and now it's Saturday now. Fast forward and they finally had to go through my truck and find an old vet bill with my number. They called to tell me they had my truck. I'm thinking my truck is at the my dealer being worked on. As I was calling the dealer to ask how my truck was coming along, the other calls me. How do you drop off a vehicle in a whole different address with no information? His driver put a gash on my lawn and I told the owner about it and he proceeded to say he was sorry, but he wasn't even going to reimburse me for the repair. I told him I had it all on my camera at home. I had the whole pick up on the camera. Please do yourself a favor, same yourself a headache and stay away from this company, they do not care about their customers!!!! read more

Owner (said his name is Jim) was my tow driver for my car towed from my home to car dealership for service. The driver was gruff on the phone (a bit short for no reason) but once in the cab of the truck with Jim to catch a ride to dealership to pick up my loaner, Jim was an interesting guy to talk to. He made a few self-deprecating statements about tow truck drivers' temperament (a glimmer of a sense of humor there?). I've had HORRID tow truck driver experience right after a major car accident in December 2015 (see my review for the psycho tow truck driver from Middletown), I'll take a gruff older guy who may need a Snickers who still treats customers with a modicum of humanity and courtesy. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the towing service and the driver's manners. He stood me up for more than 3 hours with a broken car in the middle of a park (without calling or picking up the phone), simply because he had not come to agreement with the insurance company about who is going to pay for the extra mileage and gas when he went to a wrong address, which was his own fault in the first place! I had a mechanical breakdown on a long weekend in the middle of a well-known park. My insurance chose Bob's for towing and told me that it should take around 30 mins for them to arrive. After one hour, I called Bob's and learned that the driver was at a different park that didn't even have name/address similarities with the one I was located at! I had quite clearly communicated not only the name and address of the park, but also exact coordinates of my car's location. There was simply no excuse to screw it up! Nevertheless, he didn't fail to complain to me as though it was my fault that he wasted his time and gas! The driver didn't show up for another hour and didn't pick up the phone either. I called the insurance agent and she contacted him. The driver called back after a while and started all over again, asking the address, etc. He said that the insurance company just agreed to pay for his extra mileage and admitted that he was standing me up without picking the phone up until they agreed to pay: "these trucks don't run on water!" he said, and when I protested his response was "this is long weekend, if you think you can find another tow truck, go ahead." He kept me standing for another hour and kept giving dishonest answers about his location and when he should be arriving. He went to the wrong entrance of the park one more time and blamed me for it with his usual tone. When he arrived, I told him that he shouldn't turn on the car because of the transmission problem, but he did drive it nevertheless for a few yards after I left the scene, while I was watching him from a distance. read more

I could not have had a worse experience with this institution. I went back to retrieve my car the morning following an accident. I was set to pay for the expenses when I was shocked to find the charges to be over $200 more than I was originally told. I excused myself to call my mother, and when I came back in to pay, the man helping me slammed his fists down onto the desk and exclaimed, "Are you kidding me?! I just made up a whole new bill. Do you have the funds to pay or not?!" I said, "Yes, but do you need to yell at me?" To which he replied "Yes!" He proceeded to grab my credit card out of my hand to complete the charge. I am a petite, 21 year old female, and I was left absolutely terrified from this experience. I cannot believe that customer service could possible be so horrible when I was simply trying to retrieve my car. I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. read more

Absolutely the best place I've been to for repairs. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure to get things done and help you in anyway possible. I will always go to them to get any work done. The employees are fast and everyone is friendly. The owner let's you know exactly what's going on every step of the way. The prices are fair and he's always trying to find a way to help. Their towing service is a scamming service they over estimate miles to over charge people 4.75 per mile using a GPS which anyone who knows how to use one you can choose your route. I was towed through through my AAA account who estimated miles to be 12 they estimated 17. Well the driver loaded the car and said I'll just fallow you, of course I set my odometer I trust nobody with good reason the mileage was 11.8 miles, my AAA pays the first 5 miles. They charged me the full 12 miles. I called the company to talk about the over charge they gave me a bunch of crap, and when I told them if they didn't work this out I would file a complaint I was told and I quote go( go ahead file you Fu$&ing complaint and hung up on me!). They think they are going to get paid by AAA also. They are now going to be investigated by AAA and the ct. BBB plus when I get time they will also be reported to DMV! Please don't make the mistake of using a company that over charges and when you say something they get rude and hang up on you. read more
