I've heard mixed and negative reviews about Bob's and I've never been, until now! My dad was kind enough to give us some gift cards for this place and I am glad we had tried it! The restaurant is BIG! We came before the dinner rush. When we came in though, the host was giving us wide eyes and a little stand off-ish, probably just shy but they did seat us right away. Our server was nice tho! They have a good variety; ranging from salads, to sandwiches, dinner entrees like sirloin steak and seafood and obviously, their burgers. They even have these tater crisps which my bf had for his meal, called the Rancher and they were really good. Their fries and such were not greasy at all! I had the famous Caesar verde salad that came with a house made chimichurri dressing and OMG, the whole meal rocked my socks off! I got sirloin steak instead of chicken and man, I finished it! It came with tortilla strips, corn and black beans, and 2 slices of garlic bread (you never see that for a salad!) I'd get this again! I want to try their prime rib and their big spud potato next time. My bf's dad got the seafood dinner and it looked pretty scrumptious! Cannot wait to come back another time. Not bad, not great either. This place is adequately MID. Portions are ok, taste was ok, service was slightly above average. I had the bacon guacamole burger and it was ok, cheese wasn't melted well so not sure what happened there. The bacon was alright, there was this char flavour there but it was slightly off putting, not sure how to accurately describe that. My boys, well, their teenage palettes aren't very broad so they'll almost always enjoy anything with meat and cheese along with the usual fries. Arrived to grab a quick bite at the bar and they had a sign blocking the entrance to the bar saying it was too busy. Another lady arrived and walked passed the sign. The bartender said, "Oh, she's fine." So when we tried to walk in she said, "No, you have to wait, we're too busy." I have never had such poor customer service. read more

I have a great experience every time I come here! Service is prompt and the food is good. Even though I've eaten in probably over a dozen times, and have tried many different menu items, I always end up resorting back to my faithful and favorite chicken chipotle sandwhich. I always ask for extra chipotle sauce on the side, it's my favorite sauce EVER, but specifically the way the cooks here make it in house. I also think the ambiance is sportsy/casual enough you can bring your family or date here for a nice meal. I've brought 3 different people here for their first time and they now love it! I've been dining here regularly for years now. It's possible I have brought nearly everyone I know, but I am still always trying to convince others to join me. I really enjoy the location with easy parking close to the mall. There's never a wait and the servers are very attentive. It also has a great bar if you are just looking to stop off for a drink or to watch a sporting event on the tvs, but do be aware they close early. There's even tvs in the bathroom if you are worried about missing a minute to pee. I am appreciative of the vegan menu and recently texted a friend to share that they also have a gluten free menu. These menus are not offered regularly so be sure to request them if you require these options, but they are easy to view on the website. This my favorite Bob's while I have tried others, this one has the salad that I crave. I absolutely love the Chipotle Cobb and get this on most visits, the champagne vinaigrette is so good and there are so few places where you can get fake chicken locally. I've tried the potstickers and the buffalo chicken wrap, but always find myself ordering the salad. I do with they had some other fake burger options, but if you are into black bean burgers there are 3 burger varieties to choose from. My most recent dining partner has been loving the mini seafood option and has ordered this on our last 3 visits. I think she now is becoming as addicted to dining here as I am. Bob's Burgers & Brews - Hit or Miss We popped in for a spontaneous date night and decided to give Bob's a try. We got there around 4:30, so it wasn't busy and we were seated right away--always a plus. Service was prompt and friendly. Our server took our drink order quickly, and we were ready to go with food when she brought them out. We started with the mozzarella sticks, which were honestly the highlight--perfectly crunchy with that satisfying cheesy pull. For mains, I had the prime rib dip and my partner got the Bayou burger. He asked for the blue cheese on the side but didn't get it at all. The burger had some flavor, but it was missing that extra kick he was hoping for. My prime rib dip was a bit of a letdown--it lacked flavor and was pretty greasy. I did enjoy the seasoned fries, though. He also asked for two dipping sauces, which were included, but just a heads-up--additional sauces are 30 cents each. Overall, it was nice to go out and not cook, but nothing really wowed us. Don't even bother with this place. You're getting Applebees quality for premium prices. They also charge $1 extra for allowing two people to split an entree, as if you're not already paying $18 for a microwaved burger. Ambience is tacky like every other "sports" bar. I can get a much better burger at Nicks Jr. in Everett for $11. Don't know why places like Bob's and Buzz Inn stay in business. Must be older people. read more

My experience in this location wasn't the best. My server was ok, it seems like she was the only one working. She seemed to be nice, but not too attentive. The food wasn't that great, I ordered a Bacon burger (which was served pretty fast) however I preferred Red Robin's burgers. We made reservations here for Mother's Day brunch we thought but apparently not brunch but the regular menu was being offered so we had burgers instead. Now it was before Covid that they used to have a weekend brunch but maybe not anymore it's been awhile since we've been here it hasn't really changed much the menu is pretty much hamburgers and chicken sandwiches or wraps. My partner and I came here for lunch (1pm-ish) on a weekday (Tues) and service felt a little slow, but the server was apologetic to that. The menu is two pages, but there are a lot of options! Lots of burger options, which is what we were craving. I got the Western burger and the onion rings didn't seem "fryer fresh" on the burger, but they were still crunchy. Friends love Bobs. I think I've been here before. But I can't really remember, so I suppose it doesn't count. For me, Bob's is a the twin brother of Red Robin. Yet, it's the younger brother. Bob's is a bit south of Red Robin, just as DQ is south of McDonald's, or Mickey Dee's is to, say, In-N-Out. There just isn't much difference at first glance. Same layout and same vibe. Same menu style and layout and basically the same items. Anyway, moving fwd. I wish I knew how to split these stars in half. This place is really more of a 2.5 than a 3 star. It balances in a "I would eat there again..." and "...because there were no better options." It was fine. Really, it was. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back there. It was missing something. A spark? The energy? A greeting at the door? I'm not sure. I would probably drive the extra mile to find another American burger and fries sit-down, neighborhood, food chain. Sadly it is pretty much right next to a Red Robin. So the doppelgänger is unavoidable. But Red Robin did me dirty last time by hoarding the fries in the back of the house rather than in front of my face (ha-ha). The waiter was cool. Nice. Easy going. Positive. Attentive. Well, until he brought my friend the wrong order. Then picked it up and took it the guy who actually ordered it. I'm not sure that is allowed in restaurants for health reasons. It was a bit awkward. The bread wasn't fresh, warm, or toasted. It was just there. The bread can make or break a sandwich! No joke. The BBQ sauce (the Robin to the main dishes BatMan) was no Joke(r), a bit thick and too sweet for me. I was expecting basically a French Dip w/ a Turkey for Beef substitute. I missed that staple watery au jus dipping sauce that was born for French Dips. The onion rings were stacked high. They were great, which was a welcomed thing. For this is what filled me up. I know the gimmicky drill on sides. Sides are an economical savvy thing to do when the main dish is "less than." They are the decoration, the eye candy, the presentation center piece. They add color and texture. The O Rings did the trick. The tater tots gave further evidence to my friends plate across the table. But really, I started this review off saying Bobs is a step down from Red Robin on the the family franchisees latter. Yet, something tells me I need to go back. You know like this was just a bad game played by a great team. But, really, I felt last night, this team lost to Team Denny's or Shari's. Not that anything is wrong with Denny's. My girlfriend and I went to the Everett location yesterday evening. It was the first time we've been to Bob's Burger. We only first heard of them from a coupon in the Valpak we received the same day. I really appreciated their coupon showcasing their Black Bean vegan burger option! . Given this, we decided we had to give it a try. They also offer a Garden Burger, which I'm not sure if it's vegan, as well as an off-menu Impossible Burger (I'm not sure why that's off menu but I'm glad it's available as an option!). As per the waitress, those were the only vegan options available for the main course, which is totally fine. We both ordered the black bean burger, I had mine garnished with avocados and mushrooms. In addition we ordered a hummus platter to share between us. The hummus platter was huge, an absolute sh*t ton of celery, carrots and cucumbers. Now, that said, we felt like more variety could have been included with the veggie options, but what was provided was beyond generous!! The hummus itself was good, tasty. We also ordered a couple of adult beverages, both were very tasty and didn't seem "skimpy" at all, another point in their favor! The burgers were really good (my GF got steak fries with hers and I got a house salad with mine). She found her food to be tasty and in her words "what one would expect from a black bean burger". I found the food to be really tasty actually. The inclusion of jalapeno in their burger added a nice flavor profile without being obnoxiously too hot in any way. So, overall, so far it sounds like we were having a nice time, right? If so, why oh why just the 1* afforded on the review? Well, I'll get to that now. If you look at the picture of the coupon, it very specifically says "$7 off w/the purchase of two dinner entrees and two beverages", which we gladly fulfilled ... or so we thought .... It turns out, the beverages were limited to non alcoholic beverages only. I mean, come the f* on, how were we supposed to possibly know that?!? So they actually did not honor the coupon and we were left feeling like suckers in a ridiculous bait and switch. Look, it's only $7 so I don't care about the amount. Shoot, if there was no coupon involved at all ... just a mailer showcasing their vegan burger, we'd still be there just as quickly. I don't know if other Bob's Burger establishments play as fast and loose with breaking their advertising promises but I hope not. We will never step food in that establishment again and want to be sure that others receiving the coupon understand the unspoken limitations before going in. It would seem like such an easy thing to have fixed, to honor the wording on their coupon for a stupid $7, but evidently honest advertising is not where their priority is and for that, I feel I have no choice but to give only 1 star. ***Addendum*** due to the manager's recent comment on this review, which makes perfect sense to me, I've changed my 1* to a 4*. Came with a large group and service was great. Food was where Bob's Burgers fell short for me. My chicken sandwich had very hard to eat chicken (too dry/hard), and I would recommend the Jojo potatoes over the shoestring French fries! My wife and I discovered this place during COVID-19 and have been loyal customers ever since. While it appears most restaurants are mired in a self-destructive cycle of low-quality service and sub-mediocre food, there is one shining star in the dining universe - Bob's Burgers & Brew in Everett, WA! We absolutely love their happy hour, and enjoy chatting with bartender Alex and the rest of the friendly staff. After a recent bad experience at one of Seattle's long-standing and beloved steak restaurants, I was craving a great hunk of beef instead of one of the awesome sandwiches that have become my usual fare. So I ordered a 10 oz. top sirloin steak at a place famous for its burgers. WOW! It was one of the best steaks I've ever had - superbly seasoned and cooked medium rare, just the way I like it. Thick and flavorful with absolutely no gristle, it was tender, succulent and only 22 bucks, unlike the barely edible $45 piece of shoe leather at the steak house! If you enjoy spending time with amazing people who know what great service and food are all about, you owe it to yourself to try Bob's Burgers and Brew. Post-COVID dining done right! read more

We were pleasantly surprised by this place, did not know what to expected but the service was great, food came out fast. We ordered the stake with baked potato and seafood platter with sweet potato fries. The shrimp was really good, made with panko so it wasn't too greasy and the sauces were great. Recommend the southwest yum! We don't go to Everett often but if we are up here we will come back to Bobs burger. They also seem to have a good happy hour so we got beer and wine! A great place for a group of people - though I probably wouldn't eat here alone, just not that type of place for me. I had the Bob's Bananza Burger and that thing is ginormous, pretty tasty, too. You will never have to worry about not being full after a meal here, in fact you'll probably have your next meal in a to-go box (and I have a healthy appetite). The burger features fresh mushrooms, bacon, 2 patties, cheese and the rest is the usual. Not sure what type of bun, but it was quite good as well - though the concoction was VERY messy lol. Their hot chocolate was among the best I've ever had. Very rich and creamy, not sickeningly sweet or anything. Real whipped cream. The price is perhaps a bit high, but you are getting your money's worth in the quantity of food you're getting. The service team was good, not exceptional but friendly and, most importantly, the service was swift. If you want a group lunch, I would recommend Bob's for sure! read more

Let's start off by saying that we have been coming here for a few years and this is my first review. They have a few locations and each place is set up the same including the freezer like place so bring a summer jacket always. The food is very good and one of the better burger joints, certainly better than Red Robin and Dennys but in that same category. We are vegetarians and so this will be that type of review. The burgers are very good and the sides are made good. The service varies but mostly good and friendly staff. My wife and I really like the food but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Every time we have eaten here, and I mean every single time, we have to hunt down our server. Been to this place about 8 times. They never come back after food is dropped off,never even walk by our table. We need a drink or extra napkins and there is no one there. I see other servers checking on other customers, but never us. Is it because we are a gay couple or because my wife is transgender? We are not rude or obnoxious and make our order clear with very few requests. We always tip 20% but not these servers . Maybe if they can make at least 1 table touch after food drop we would tip more than 10 or 12 percent. This will become a 5 star review if that starts happening. read more

We haven't eaten here for several years, so we thought we'd give it a try. As other reviewers have noted, the service is good. The burger was ok, but definitely over priced. It's also important to know that you should bring cash, since the restaurant has a surcharge for credit cards. They claim that this is a common practice at other restaurants in the area. This might be true at food trucks, but it's the first time I've paid extra to use a credit card at a restaurant. But here's my gripe for the day. When my wife and I order a large burger and fries, we share a single order. We were charged a dollar to have the order served on two plates. Splitting a meal at a fine dining restaurant justifies an extra charge, because plating the meal is part of the experience. But charging a dollar to cut a burger in half? My first thought was to GET RID OF THE PLASTIC STRAWS! In 2 tables I counted 6 straws not being used. Offer drinks (including water!) without the plastic straws! I was seated promptly, the hostess asking if I wanted a table or booth. Good table, unfortunately the air was blowing right on me, so I repositioned myself. The waitstaff arrived just a few minutes later. I asked about tap beers and she seemed knowledgeable about the offerings. She brought the beer promptly and gave me a few more minutes to finish reviewing the menu. I ordered the avocado burger, asking for it to be cut in half and cooked medium. It arrived cut in half as requested, but cooked well done. I understand that's probably the usual way it's done, but I like a little pink in the middle. The fries were plentiful, but unseasoned, not even salt. If you don't salt the fries freshly out of the fryer, the seasoning doesn't stick, and you're left with relatively bland potatoes. Another thought.... Please find another brand of ketchup that doesn't use HFCS. It's just so sweet it ruins the taste. Waitstaff did bring a box with the check as requested. Overall, I wouldn't argue about coming here again, but I probably wouldn't recommend it. read more
