Prior to my visit, I contacted the establishment to request a simple tire patch. Upon arrival, I was advised by a staff member that they were occupied with a brake job and would be unable to assist me until the end of the day. I kindly offered to return at a more convenient time. However, following a consultation with a colleague, the staff member informed me that they do not provide services for dually trucks, which was surprising given my previous experiences with the establishment. I accepted their decision, but the staff member proceeded to call me a Dumb a** . That is insane to speak to a customer i would recommend avoiding this establishment. Had a tire that kept losing pressure, thought maybe it needed a new valve stem. Brought it here and they checked it, only to discover that the RUM was cracked near the valve stem. They put my toe in the rim for the spare which was fine. I had them check my other tires to make sure none of them had any issues. No other leaks or cracks! Only charged me $20! Seriously good place! I don't know any names, but everybody was very helpful. The manager is super nice. I was told by another tire shop that all four of my tires had belts that were separating and needed replacing. I knew that couldn't be true with only 2000 miles or so on two of the tires. Bob's found that those two tires were just fine, and despite being very busy, fixed me up with two gently used tires for around $95! I had my car worked on spark plugs and oil change from mechanic came to my home. After he put new plugs in it started misfiring the next day and cold starting . Ended up taking it to a local shop and I told them it started with the plugs no issues til then. They said purge value came up on codes so $705 later them keeping wed -fri. I picked it up drove it home next morning same thing. Iam stressed because they wanted me to leave it again . they were nt even listening to what I was telling them them. They also charged $523 wheel sensor. They charged $185 hr to look at it and work on it. I figured I got burnt enough. So I called Bob's tires to see if they had a mechanic were I had bought tires many times over the years. Jimmy & Steven looked at my car and fixed it and also the wheel sensor they put on at other shop that made a noise hitting my brakes . All fixed in 15 min. They listened to me and are very nice. They know what they are doing with no hesitation. It was the spark plugs and battery cable loose also some oil was I split around them from the oil change. Iam amazed and any time I have work needed on my car they will be the ones to do it. That tells me the other shop never even looked at any of it while putting purge value on . Oh the other shop charged $32 to tighten the oil filter who does that ? Not to mention it was so stressful talking to them because over booking . My car is running better than it ever has like a new vehicle no misfires .. so calm... ty so you much I appreciate you both ! read more

Let me tell you Bob's tire is the best place to have your tires looked at. Out of 3 different tire places, Bob's was the only place to look at our tire, the other places DIDN'T EVEN LOOK AT OUR TIRE but Jimmy at Bob's not only looked at the tire but pulled the nail out and determined we did not need it to be fixed. Jimmy was an absolute pleasure. This review is a bit delayed but a few weeks back I had to get my tires refilled with air and unfortunately with my luck ended up with ANOTHER nail in my tire. I honestly just rolled up but Jimmy not only helped me out by plugging the nail but showed me how it was done. He then checked all my tires to make sure I was good, offered me some air valve plugs but I had already got some beforehand and it was honestly the best customer service I have gotten from a auto repair shop in a long time. Walked into the office, owner was talking to a customer. They both left the room to go out front and owner said to me "Be right back". He could have asked me if I had a quick question after which I would have asked if they maybe had a tire with my size, he would have maybe replied "see one of the guys out there", but he did not ask me anything. His demeanor was not quite right either. I did not feel comfortable. I waited in the office for about 6-8 minutes, after which I left and drove away. He apparently never cared. While waiting in the office I peeked at the many tacky framed catch phrases some of which conveyed a negative attitude about customers, one had similar language of "Ask me if I care....". I had my tire plugged and the employee left the Fob on top of the car. When i went back we figured out that he had left it on roof and we found it the street all smashed up. He told me that the manager wasn't going to pay for it and he would have to. I've never been able to get in touch with the employee and I was surprised the manager didn't pick up the tab. He actually said to me, did I mess up your Fob and i told him a lousy way to run a business. The new Fob cost me $261 and I was never compensated. I came here on manic Monday. This after being given the runaround at another discount tire shop in Clearwater. One of our cars is old, a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis. I've had it for 20 years. Runs good, only problem is I don't put a lot of miles on this car. So the tires need to be replaced every 3-5 years due to dry rot, or bubbles on the inside of the tire. I called ahead of time and got a price on some new tires for my "jewel" of a car. $20 cheaper per tire than the place in Clearwater quoted. So I arrived late on a Monday afternoon. And as stated it was very hectic at the shop. But, when it was my turn I was taken care of pretty quickly and had four new tires on my baby. What a difference four new tires make, my car drives so smooth now. Feels almost like it's brand-new! Worst customer service ever experienced. I have used them for brakes at Christmas time and 2 front tires in February. I was in the hospital last week and my right rear tire had gone flat it had a slow leak. On 7/11 My husband and daughter took the car to bobs to get a tire. On 7/15 it was flat and I had AAA come put my donut on. I go to bobs first thing this morning and the worker took my tire out of the back and the manager comes by with the slip and claims that it says they replaced the right front. I told him it was the back and he says it says the front. I said well then you guys wrote it wrong and he kept getting louder. Says he writes the receipts. I showed him myone from February and said this was for 2 fronts. He then says well it's not f@@@@@g covered. He then yells for his guy to Put my tire back in my trunk and get the F off the property and not come back. I yell back they are scams and rip offs. The guy put my tire in the car and apologized. I said why would I lie? I know what tire I had issues with. He says he is always like this. I get home and gave my husband the receipt and he says where does it say right front? All this says is tire size and disposal fee! He called and spoke with him and hung up. I said well? He says he is a nasty one. The guy told him I deal with 30-40 of you people a week. My husband even asked for the owners # and he refused. Funny because when I was there he told me to contact the owner. But doesn't give you the info to do so. "Kevin tells my husband you want me to bother an 81 year old man over this". He then tells my daughter who went to see him thinking he would remember her and was greeted with ignorance and physical shove and then says I am not bothering an 86 year old man. So which is it.
