My car unexpectedly got a flat tire today while parked in my apartment complex and this was the first place I found that was close and open. I'm so lucky this is where I ended up Howard and Joe were the absolute nicest people! Not only did they fix my car quickly but they told me lots of cool things to do in the area and even helped me brainstorm places to apply for jobs since I lost mine due to the corona virus! My tire light came on and the tire looked a bit deflated so wasn't sure if it was a flat or what. No one was at the service desk when I first entered and I hate to wait about 7 minutes or so. They told me it was an hour wait to get my car scene and I decided to wait. They have a coffee machine and water bottles while you wait and the TV playing in the background. Once my car was seen I had 3 awesome guys let me know they were just deflated and they put air in my tires free of charge. They told me my tire light signal was broken and told me the price to fix it, when I said no I didn't feel hassled or tricked or guilted they just smiled and said okay. Super nice guys and extremely funny! Enjoyed a chat with them on the way out and their great sense of humors brightened my day. These guys are honest and helpful! This shop is AMAZING!! The guys who work at the front desk are sooooo friendly and accommodating. They provide honest answers and don't overcharge. Mike was so helpful with my outside tire warranty service. He stayed late to ensure that my order was fully competed. Had to have my spare tire cut down from under my Explorersince the hoist seized up. The dealer quoted $400 for the job. I was shocked since it didn't look like a big job. I called Mike and Howard at the Goodyear on East Bay and they told me to bring it over. Went over this morning I was in and out in a half hour and it cost under $200! I hit a curb and busted my tire. Thank goodness for the road hazard warranty. I pulled into this Goodyear and was out of there before I knew it with 2 new tires because service advisor found a huge nail in another tire while doing rotation. Later I found that the TpMS sensor went bad in the tire I busted on a curb, and although it was most probably from the damage of hitting curb, Mike Dolan, the manager, replaced it just for cost of the sensor. I have paid thousands of dollars of car repairs with one of their competitors when I owned a service company. I sold it and have time to check around now. I called this Goodyear tire shop for a quote on patching a tire. They said no charge, wow what a great way to introduce yourself to new customers I THOUGHT! I was in construction so I knew it was simply a 1 inch roofing nail in the CENTER of my basically new tire. They measured my tread all good, the location was okay so they proceeded with the patch/plug procedure. After they completed it they said I would need a new tire because the nail was at an angle too great to hold. I've plugged and patched so many tires in my life I knew they were taking me for a ride. Do not believe these people, all the way up the chain they were dishonest. read more

I trust them completely to tell me honestly what I need to have done at the visit and what can wait. I was there yesterday and Joe took care of me. Went in and was greeted by a very rude guy at the register and waited until he was done on the phone call. Once he was done, we discussed why I was there which was to get a tire change and he asked me if I wanted synthetic? I looked dumbfounded and he then stated the guy who took my appointment wasn't there currently. I dropped my truck off on 8/29/16 and had two tires repaired. Each had a nail in the tread. When I returned to pick up my truck the gentleman at the counter Paul, told me the repairs have been done and the bill was zero dollars. When I asked why there was no charge he told me that the owner felt that I had already had a bad enough day. I promised I would send as much business their way as I could. read more

Always really great service from Jason, Mike, Paul, Chad and all mechanics. I've been coming here for years and always appreciate seeing the same team treating customers and myself like family. My car sounded like it was dying on my way home from work one evening this week and a diagnostic showed the pistons in the engine not firing. I left it overnight and was pleasantly surprised to learn it was only a matter of acorns and debris left by a critter. I realize, I could have been "told" it was much worse.
