this place may be good for tire service but not a right place for brakes.They messed up my car's front brakes. I took the car back to them and they did not even check it. These are the best and most honest car mechanics I've ever met in Florida. A few years ago my window was stuck and I stopped by Tire Plus for some reason and they said it was likely the motor & would cost over $200 (and he didn't feel the need to look at it) fortunately, i didn't bite & stopped in to ask Bob's ... turns out a childproof button was on & they fixed N/C & sent me on my way...Another time, there was a little noise & he found something thru my glove box that needed adjustment & again, they fixeded it N/C! This is why I;m going to buy four new tires from them now because I know they will treat me right. Everytime i stop by, i say hello and feel like crying because it's so rare to meet prople who don't try to take advantage of a single woman who depend on people who will treat me fairly in regards to mechanics i dont understand. My only complaint is they are always busy and might be a wait) There's only about three or four seats in the office to sit and you might need to go across the street if you are going to have to wait. read more

My family and I came here for all our tire needs for 26 yrs. The last 4 times i was there I had to deal with Bob Sr' s unwanted perverted come ons. Im 57 and have very thick skin for dealing with advances but I was so uncomfortable that I took my biz elsewhere last year. Even though it wasn't as convenient and cost me $20 more per tire at minimum. Its really a shame that he is causing his biz these problems. I have spoken to some neighbors that dealt with the same thing. I recently was so unhappy with the new place I was going, with their tires, to so I pulled into Bob's hoping they made the owner, be a hands off owner. Luckily he was not there and I had a great experience and got a great tire, and 2 plugs in another tire, for a very reasonable price. When I pulled in I was greeted by Kyle, I think his name was, and his customer service skills were perfect. PLEASE KEEP BOB SR. HOME. In the best interest of his heirs and the biz, keep him off the property and your biz might go back to the way it used to be, busy all the time!! I really hope Bob Jr. personally reads this to his Dad before they wind up loosing the biz in a sexual harrassment suit! read more

Went there about a month ago with my front right motorhome tire I had removed because it had a slow leak; hard to do for an old man. Kevin said they would put a patch inside($15) since I already had a plug in it. When my wife picked it up they charged her $8 and when I got it home there was no air(32 lbs.) in it. I put it on anyway and it still has the same slow leak. I don't think they did a thing to it since I got it back with very low air in it. I am not happy about the service. Bill Hart read more

As we live in this community, we try to give the local business our business. We had an appointment at 8am to get one of our tires replaced. I had to take time off work to make sure I made the 8am appointment. The "manager" showed up at 8:25. I jokingly said to the manager: "You should give the key to one of your boys that did show up on time." The "manager" replied in a very unprofessional tone of voice: "Don't you worry about who I give the keys to." Guess who just lost our business. read more

Been to Bob's 4 times and only spent money once. I was always blown away by a company that wouldn't charge you for little things like checking a tire for leaks, letting you know that you don't need to swap out a tire that has a small gash in the side wall because you'll be OK for a few days knowing well they could've charged me $20-30 for it. The point is this place deals with honesty and integrity like the old days. It isn't much look at from the front but inside there are some honest guys who don't try to make an extra buck telling or selling you something you don't need. They were able to special order a tire i needed to replace one that I tore the sidewall on and have it in the next day at a lower price than I paid it one of the larger chains down the street. I was actually surprised they were able to get this specific tire. Now I'm going to Bob's for all my tires going forward not just repairs or patches. read more

Had a flat and took the car to Bob's. Found out I had a large hole in it and needed a whole new tire. Yikes! Visions of a $150 tire came to mind. He went inside the shop and came back in a minute with a used replacement that was the same brand I have on the car, and the tread was good. When he said $25, I said "sold!". It even had a 30 day guarantee on it. I've been driving on the tire for about 8 months now. The whole thing took about 10". I'll be back. read more

I have been going to Bob's for a long time. I have learned that if you go after 9:00 am and only get tires, you will be in good shape. Only problems I have ever had was with my brake job because the mechanic didn't seem to know what to do. And if you get there at 8:00 in morning you WILL wait until the manager gets there (Not Bob) and have to deal with attitude. But Bob is great and the guys that do the tires are great also. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! I REPEAT...DO NOT GO HERE!! I brought 4 tires in to get put on. They ruined my key for the locking lugnuts and wouldn't replace it. They also couldn't get two tires off and stripped the lugnuts. THEN, they put big scratches and gouges in three of my rims. The rims were practically brand new without any blemishes. The owner wouldn't even discuss fixing the damage even though the mgr said they did the damages. So now I'm having to pay for a new key and pay for someone to get the stripped lugnuts off. AND I have scratches all over the rims. DONT GO HERE! read more

I was looking for some used tires, but wanted a solid deal at a good price. The guys at Bob's were very friendly and the service was fast. They actually let me know 2 of my tires were still in great shape and just needed rotated. So they were more concerned with great customer service, than making that almighty dollar. Most places would have tried their best to sell me, sell me, sell me... Bob's is hands down the best prices and service around! If going to their location on Ulmerton, stop by Seminole Subs and Gyros as well. Hands down the best Gyro I have ever had, and I have tried them all over the States! I have used this place many times over the years. They are better than the nearby chain tire stores in that they don't try and totally rip you off on unnessary repairs.
