I discovered Bob's when my Husky Lawn Tractor needed major repair after I hit a cast iron pipe edge. Taking the tractor to a repair shop was out of the question as it was unfit to drive and the nearest one is about 2 miles away! That was several years ago and many repairs, I've used the tractor for more mowing than it was built for, and managed to inflict challenging damages. Over the years Bob has called me his favorite customer and his worst nightmare, but he's always kept my trusty steed alive and mowing! His lovely wife answers the phone when I call and I always enjoy her friendly conversation. Appointments are always made and met dependably. I feel the prices charged are reasonable, but the service is outstanding. Sadly, I fear it may now have a terminal disease, but I will call him and he may yet work another miracle, or tell me that there is no hope. I find consolation in the knowledge that even if Old Faithful must be put down, Bob will take care of the disposal for me...a task too sad for words, and too big for my little automobile. read more

Okay let me start off by saying I am a hard customer to please. I am writing this because Kevin deserves it. He was awesome in every sense of the term. Service was great, spent the time needed to properly diagnosis the problems and extremely fair pricing. We brought this cub cadet zero turn mover from the previous home owners and it had some major issues.I called Kevin because he had helped me over the phone with another issue it had previously. He was here on agreed date and time. he did the required hourly maintenance service and evaluated all it's issues. Blades were totally shot, needed a battery, there was something wrong with PTO not working sometimes and even saved me money with not needed 2 new tires. Kevin had to order parts and had to make 2 more trips here to get it all fixed, but he was here everyday as promised and on time. A couple weeks ago, I performed an online search for lawnmower service providers. I found several but the concept of the service provider coming to my home as opposed to me dragging my lawnmower to a shop was very appealing. So I called Bob's. I spoke with Donna, who was very friendly. She quoted me a price for what I wanted done and asked me some questions about my Club Cadet. We scheduled an appointment for 1pm today. Bob and his son arrived at 12:50 p.m. Bob is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. My lawnmower had not been serviced, ever. I think I've had it for three years. After he had serviced it, Bob took his time to explain what he had done and what steps I can take in the future to maximize the efficiency of my lawnmower. The service was prompt, price reasonable, and now my Club Cadet operates like it did when it was brand new. I highly recommend Bob. read more

This is the best service that I have ever received for anything. Bob showed up on time and had my snow blower running in about 20 minutes. Bob didn't stop at just getting the engine running he also checked the overall operation of the entire piece of equipment. In my case he found that the auger wasn't rotating. After a minor adjustment he had this working properly as well. If Bob hadn't taken the time to check everything I would have had a snow blower with a running engine that I still wouldn't have been able to use. On a last minute request he was also able to sharpen the blades on my lawnmower. Bob provides excellent service at a very reasonable price. He has maintained all of the riding mowers on my street for over 3 years and has responded to every emergency with an incredible smile on his face! He is polite, always on-time and very efficient. He makes sure that you know what charges to expect and helps you decide the reasonable action to take. I used Bob when he had the business, I called Kevin on two different occasions and left messages with NO return calls. Completely ignored me. Kevin has ruined his dad's business and left it with a terrible reputation. If you call this business expecting any kind of response then be ready for disappointment. Getting our lawnmower serviced every spring has always been a major pain. No more now that we've met Bob! Was in a bind last weekend because my snowblower wouldn't start and we were expecting a blizzard early this week. Bob drove his trailer over to my house, took apart the carburetor and fixed the stuck valve. Did I mention that he did it for less than anyone else would've charged, and they all wanted me to drop it off and wait a couple of weeks. Bob was timely and very easy to talk to. My machine was in such disrepair that he had to take it with him. Bob provided a "loaner" so I could get my grass cut while he repaired my mower. Mower is now repaired, runs great and Bob charged me the price he quoted. I will use Bob again the next time I have these issues. read more
