We had consulted with a few plumbing companies in the area, including some of the bigger ones, and none were really able to grasp the complications of our boiler system. We finally contacted Mike and Matt, and they were able to coherently explain what was going on and what all of the issues were. When we eventually ran into bigger problems with our wall boilers (a result of the prior owners not taking any care of them for a decade), Tumminello was our choice to revamp the entire boiler room with brand new equipment. They are truly experts at their craft (a lot of the technical aspects go over my head). Mike, Matt and their guys did such a great job and we're super happy with out it turned out. They always showed up on time and didn't leave until the job was done. Our boiler room is now much more efficient and organized and, most importantly, in working order (shoutout to Matt in particular for being a rockstar - he could be a rocket scientist for NASA; he also took the care to make sure everything looked perfect and was super organized). We've also used Tumminello for non-boiler-related issues (e.g., sink installation, leaks, clogs, etc.) and they've always responded promptly (and fairly). Roto-Rooter might seem like they charge a little more, but we made the mistake of calling a local plumber and spending 1000.00 and STILL had continuous problems because they unclogged the pipe but didn't use a blade (just a spring). We had caked on soap in the line and although the plumber unclogged the pipe, the deposits were still in the pipe and it backed up two additional times. Finally called Roto-rooter and we feel very confident that the issue is resolved for now. Eric showed us our drainage issues and recommended future maintenance. He was forthright with the costs and he was very professional and fast. We will NEVER waste our time and money using any other company for our drain problems. I definitely recommend this company!

So, my husband and I have been taking very quick showers because the water was so hot. I have an American Standard single arm shower (no faucet). I purchased two pressure balances and two cartridges. I am so glad I did. After installing the first set, there was not water come out of my shower head. After several attempts to get the water running and a call to the plumbing supply store where I purchased the cartridges from (the guy there help to troubleshoot but it didn't work), I called Mr. Plumber. I am so very happy I did. Joe heard my story, suggested a few steps to me, gave me his cell phone number all because had faith I can get the job done (I appreciated that ) and I did. There were 3 jobs we needed done. A swap out on our kitchen faucet. It was installed completely wrong & the faucet didn't turn from right to left it turned from middle to back and it was not secured to the granite and was loose. Next we needed a pedestal sink removed and a small vanity installed in our bathroom. I bought a beautiful brand new $600 vanity that they broke! The initialin installation looked like a complete mess when the were done. Sloppy mess of a 2 inch space filled with uneven caulk. I didn't look professionally done at all. We asked them to come back and correct the problems. For 3 hours he worked on fixing the caulk but there was lots drilling & cursing etc and when my dad went in to check what was going on the plumber was watching YOUTUBE plumbing video I'm assuming to try to figure out how to fix the vanity. At 1st glance it looked like the vanity was in correctly but then that night I noticed that the drawers were no longer sitting straight. Upon further inspection he BROKE one of the vanity drawers and caulked it back together and it isn't even connected to the vanity. So now we will need to completely replace this brand new vanity and pay someone else to properly install it. Third we had a water heater leak that we wanted corrected and they told us on our heater it couldn't be repaired which we understood BUT they made the leak 5x worse that it had been when they arrived. In addition to the issues with the sub par work these guys also say in their vans outside my house for extended periods of time, playing on their phones, one of them for a solid hour and charged us for that time. This can be seen in the video footage on my ring app. When we called they let us know someone would be out to fix the errors and we asked to have different plumbers sent. They sent the same guy. I cannot tell you how much I regret using this company. Sav On did not supply us a competent worker. I cannot stress enough how incompetent the worker was. We are shocked that an insured company is refusing to cover the damages. Refusing any sort of refund. Do NOT use this company under any circumstances.

Let me start off by saying that I…read moredon't Usually trust plumbing as they are usually high priced and will do anything to sell the job. Not the case with D and L plumbing. I had purchased my house a few years ago from a flip company. They never installed a drain hole for the washing machine. I was referred to D and L plumbing by a friend. I figured what risk is there if I just call for a quote. Right from the start I could tell this was going to be a better experience than I had dealt with in the past. He had me explain the issue and said he would be over the next day to asses it. He showed up right when he said he would and I showed him the lack of drain and showed him the crawl space so he can see where the drain should have been. He went into the crawl space and walked right over to where the drain should have been and said. " you actually already have a drain here it's just blocked". I was stunned. He went back up stairs and removed the blockage and put the washer drain hose into the drain inlet. I started the washer reluctantly but he assured me it would be fine. lo and behold , the washer started to drain with no issues. I was in awe of what just happened. Remember when I said I don't trust plumbers. I had had 2 quotes for $1500 and $1800 to " add a drain ". Now I am no plumber by any means and I am very uneducated regarding the whole plumbing process. I had thought that since I had gotten 2 quotes that were similar in price, this must be what it is going to cost. Goes to show you how honest and forthcoming this company really is. He was willing to lose the " job " and do the right thing and perform a simple fix. That is how you know a company will do the right thing by the customer and keep you in the loop the whole process. My house has had spotty heat since I moved in, but I didn't own it until December 2021. As usual, the first very cold night of the year led to the heat going off, and I'd always called another local business for that problem. The other business would come out, tinker with the thermostat, charge me $225 and leave without fixing anything. A friend recommended Got Pipes, and number one, this company is very friendly and very responsive. I didn't realize how uncommon that was until I encountered it, and not having proper heat on cold days is the worst. So that's excellent. Second, on the very first visit, Eric came within like an hour and immediately explained the problem to me - that if the pipes froze, the heat would not work. In the dozens of visits from the company I used to use over the years, no one ever said anything about that. But I want to mention an experience that was really unusual. I had an inspector tell me I needed to lift up the boiler to pass an inspection, and he warned me it was costly. Once again, I called Got Pipes, Eric came out, and he insisted it was properly installed and that this was an unnecessary expense/risk. He even told me that if the inspector pressed it, to give the guy his number. The inspector DID press it, but the inspector's supervisor reviewed the finding and realized it was properly installed and already to code. I am so lucky I wasn't using the previous company, because it would have cost me a ton of money unnecessarily and likely would have required a complete replacement too. A month or so ago, I needed a vanity replaced and a tap fixed. Even though this was not an emergency, the vanity was outside and too heavy for me to move. And again, they came out really fast and installed the vanity and did an excellent job. (Pricing is insanely reasonable, from a person with not a lot of disposable income.) Being so new to owning a house, learning about and finding service people is difficult and scary, and often you don't know beforehand if initiating a service call has a baseline cost of a few hundred dollars (even if nothing is fixed). I'm no longer apprehensive about addressing problems/maintenance or replacing things, because plumbing and heating are such a big part of home maintenance and I know a great company can handle it.
