My garage sink had been draining SLOWLY for a couple of years, and stopped completely a couple of weeks ago. i did the simple stuff, like taking off the P-trap and using my own snake to see what I could do. Our toilet was leaking for a couple of days. I thought it was the flapper, so I bought a new one and installed it myself. Unfortunately, it continued to leak. A long story short, the entire toilet sort of mini exploded and stopped working completely. Job well done. Plumber came within two hours of me calling. He found and fix the problem that another plumber did poorly. The problem was a leaking sink drain pipe inside a wall which had already caused water damage to kitchen cabinets. Their timely response prevented furthur damage from occurring. ​ In order to do this repair, holes in interior and exterior walls had to be made. I have included the links to my Ring Doorbell which shows the workman's arrival and departure. Bob's Plumbing billed for 3 hours at $130 an hour. I should have only been billed for 1 hour and 45 minutes and feel that I have been overcharged by $161. The videos showing the elapsed time of the workman's arrival and departure was 2 hours and 16 minutes. As part of that time, the workman had to go to the shop/store to pick up the part that was needed for the repair. Bob's plumbing was aware of the part needed before the workman came out. The workman said that that part was used for the prior customer that day and that is why he had to go retrieve that same part. The time it took for him to pick up that part was 35 minutes. In addition to the overcharge on time, the prices charged for the materials used were twice the price that Kohler, Home Depot and Lowes charge. A hose bib was replaced when all that was needed was a gasket. The repairman took 4 days to return to reverse the valve that was installed backwards. Bob's offered to do MUCH more work for me than anybody else, provided better quality materials, and in a city where people try and cheat you, they came in at an incredibly fair price and never wavered. After receiving a $700 water bill, we had Bob's come out for a look at the problem, which was a leak somewhere in the main line from the meter to the house. They detected the leak, dug it up, and fixed it for a very fair price. Another company had wanted to replace the whole line, which was going to require trenching through my yard and driveway. Ours is an older house with pipes and plumbing from the 40s. We had a pipe break and leak water under the house. We called Bobs Plumbing to come out. Unfortunately, our problem was much bigger than a simple leaking pipe....we needed to redo the entire plumbing in the house! But with such old pipes, we knew this day was coming. They were very thorough going through all the piping under the house and in the walls. They even showed us the pipes that were bad. They explained everything very well and were always completely professional. Where they had to break open walls to access the pipes, they also fixed the walls afterward. They always cleaned after themselves and didn't complain when I asked quite a few questions about plumbing. They made sure when they left for the day that we still had water to get us through the night. And for everything they had to do, they gave us a very reasonable price. I cannot recommend Bobs Plumbing enough! They were excellent and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need or try to take advantage of us. Had a clogged sewer pipe with a very difficult access and impossible to snake properly. The job required three trips and some creative thinking, but I was very happy with the service. Simply Terrific... As we went through several meetings with plumbing contractors on a full remodel of our house in Pinecrest, we were referred to Casey, John and the Team at Bobs Plumbing. The project in general was reading the plans, estimating, and execution. We could not be happier with the final product. The guys always communicated very well and were available for questions, guidance and explanation. They read specs and let me know ahead of time if they saw problems which could be addressed before it became a cost to us. Also, if there was a low cost add that could enhance the project they recommended it i.e. ; insulation of the overhead piping to the bathrooms makes the cold /cold and the hot/hot....big improvement! Needed to have a leaking hot water heater replaced, called the on Friday for a quote was told they would have to call supplier, no call back. I called again on Monday and was told I would have a quote by 5 pm, no call back. I called again on Tuesday and Alecia told me she had to make a call first. Bob's to my rescue. After having a gas hot water heater improperly installed and no hot water for over a week and fighting with Mito Plumbing, the original plumbing co. Bob's Plumbing representative John was a breathe of fresh air. Very professional and polite. John came out to my house after explaining to him a county inspector would not approve the the original installation and the gas co turned off my gas, within hours. The original installation was done improperly and due to CO2 leaking, the gas company turned off my gas and the original Co. Mito's owner was very unprofessional and said we would have to pay additional charges for their mistakes and didn't seem to care that CO2 was leaking into my garage and that myself and my children were in a potentially dangerous situation. John at Bob's with his helper Scott got right to work. It was great because John asked me to send pictures of the faulty work before hand so he knew what to bring to the job, 2 hours later my gas hot water heater was back in action and had the proper installations in place. I used Bob's plumbing last week to fix a stoppage on the kitchen sink, which they did however in the process they cracked the water trap under the sink when introducing the snake from the top side of the sink, as this did not resolve the issue they had to introduce it via the air vent in the roof. I call that afternoon to report the issue, however since it was just after 4:30pm (when I believe they close) but before 5PM they did not answer at which time I left a message. I did not receive a call back until the following day after 3PM not to come and fix the problem but to make an appointment to come the following day to look at the issue. At which time I took the decision to fix the issue myself as we now had two days of leak. This weekend I noticed that the gutter where the plumber placed his ladder and lifted the equipment to access the roof was dented. on Monday I called the office to speak with a manager, who was not available so I left a message for a call back, as of today they still have not called me. Based on this experience, considering I had used them in the past, I am unable to recommend their services. read more
