The last few orders from this restaurant have been disappointing. Something seems to have shifted here, don't know if it's chef related or otherwise. Unlikely that we will attempt this choice again. We have been in the restaurant physically as well as ordered at home and the disappointment has been consistent. Tonight we ordered a basic Margherita Pizza. Not only was it cold, it arrived with not one piece of visible basil. This is a very simple pizza and basil is a key component. And for reference, we live five minutes from the establishment, so it did not travel a great distance. I believe we are done trying here.

Four of us just had lunch here today (on a Friday). Arrived at 12:30 and took an outdoor table. Music was a bit loud, so we eventually asked if they could turn it down. Service was friendly and prompt. Interestingly, none of us ordered anything Italian. We started with a grilled artichoke appetizer... it was cut in half, so we cut it into quarters (might have been something the server could have offered since cutting an artichoke with a butter knife isn't very easy). It came with a wonderful dipping sauce and a grilled lemon. Flavors were bright and wonderful. Not a lot of "meat" on this artichoke, though. Might be because we're in the off season. (Sorry about the photo, I didn't take one until after we cut it up, so you're missing out on the nice presentation.) Two of us (including me) ordered the Boca Salad with grilled chicken and an Apple cider vinaigrette. One of us asked for some Caesar dressing on the side. The julienned pear and apple were crisp and refreshing. The vinaigrette was sweet, tangy, and went perfectly with the fruit and chicken chunks. Salad was fresh. Perfect meal for me. My wife ordered the Grilled Flatbread Wrap with chicken. It came with a side salad, and she ended up taking half of the wrap home to enjoy tomorrow. The fourth person ordered the beet salad. She looked like she enjoyed it! For dessert, we sampled the Fiorello's chocolate chocolate chip gelato (chocolaty, but maybe tasted more like ice cream), Affogato Fiorello, and the wonderfully rich Warm Apple Rustic Tart with an amazing caramel sauce. Delicious meal, great service. We'll be back.

The food was good but now, I it seems that they are not paying attention to detail. Besides, the prices are insane. My company placed an order for lunch and I order the burrata + chicken. I was extremely disappointed after I opened my package. Picture below.... This was the last time we order from that place because it is extremely expensive for the to-go experience.

I ordered a Margherita pizza ,as I have many times before. The Margherita pizza I ordered had no tomatoes. I called and spoke with the manager she said the Margherita pizza does not come with tomatoes and never has. I feel like I'm crazy. I've ordered for years and there were always tomatoes on a Margherita pizza. Boca Novato. I beg to differ. I have always ordered a Margherita pizza and it always had tomatoes. You are unbelievably rude. I noticed that you recently told another customer who complained that he ate dog food. Wow! Not good with customer service. The pictures I sent of the pizza showed how awful it was. Pretty gross tomatoes or not.

Came here for an early birthday on a hot, dog day afternoon. We were seated quickly, after changing our reservation from outside to inside. Very accommodating front help. We were greeted quickly as well and placed a wine order (Duckhorn Pinot Noir). Our server, Angel, was fun to work with. We placed our food order shortly after the wine arrived and was approved. We ordered a bit of food for just three people. The order was a Gemelli pasta, a Portobello and porcini mushroom ravioli, a polenta, a grilled artichoke appetizer, an organic roasted beets salad, a Rustico salad, and a warm apple tart for dessert. Whooo! The food arrived in good order (appetizers first, then salads, and so on), was nice and hot, and was well plated; it was very appetizing to just look at, let alone smell. The ravioli was a pleasant surprise, not a lot of them, but they were earthy, tasty and a different taste than I have had before, so very nice to try. Overall, the best part was the warm apple tart. It was different and very yummy, the soft apples and crust having a bit of a battle over texture. Overall, it was a tie. And I actually won after all in the end. A great early birthday meal. But don't wait until your birthday to try their menu.

Yummy dinner at BOCA last night!! All the food was fantastic and the prices are fairly reasonable for Marin. We split the Ceasar salad and I had the truffled mac and cheese for my main, and my husband had the Alfredo and added chicken. Dessert was super yummy as well. The ambiance on the front patio and indoors is nice. I'm not as much of a fan of the covered patio. Service was slow as there were only two servers for the whole restaurant on a Saturday night. The food came out fast once we got our order, but then it took a long time to order dessert and get the check.

Prices have increased over the years, but not offensively. My recent Assorted Delite "half" sandwich was $11.50 but still as big and ginormous as I last remembered and plenty of food for one big person like myself. The fresh rolls is toasted perfectly, not burnt, the inner white bread stays fluffy and doughy. There is enough ham, pastrami, and salami proteins to keep you satisfied, and just the right amount lettuce, tomato, and onion. We were fortunate enough that two adjacent tables were free so they were able to push the tables together and seat our party after a quick wait. Service here was attentive, and I appreciate the table-side cheese and fresh cracked pepper offering after you entree arrives. The top-up on the table bread throughout the evening was nice as well. The food was my biggest issue at Trattoria Roma. While the meatball appetizer was delicious -- super tender, seasoned well, and sauce was tomato forward with just the right amount of tartness, the pasta dishes missed the mark. The texture of the house-made gnocchi was not what I'm used to. When the gnocchi arrived, the gnocchi held its form just fine. However, no more than a few minutes into eating the dish, the gnocchi lost its shape and turned into mush, and the whole dish took on the texture of cheesy mashed potatoes. The pesto sauce I opted for with the gnocchi was heavily diluted and the whole dish needed more salt. My wife's clam linguini dish had overcooked noodles. It's a shame because the clam flavor was quite good in the dish. For a family of four, our dinner came out to about $150 for four pastas and two orders of meatballs. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly, and I have to say service was great! Everything came out in a timely manner. We started out with a glass for Chianti Classico, which is a red wine. It was good, but it was warmer than room temperature. Ive been to Italy and had amazing Italian food, so the bar is set very high for us. We ordered the burrata, spaghetti carbonara, and penne salciccia. The burrata itself was very cold, the balsamic glaze that it came with was hardened, not really smooth where you can dip the burrata or prosciutto with. Having said that, the prosciutto itself was really good and the arugula made it that much better. When I order pasta, I expect the pasta to be al dente, and unfortunately both pasta dishes were too well done. The taste of the penne salciccia was actually very flavorful, and i enjoyed the sausage. The spaghetti carbonara was super heavy and buttery, maybe a little more than I'm used to. Overall, the dishes were tasty but I prefer my pasta to be al dente.
