They don't give the best customer service and they keep messing up my order last week they gave me uncooked mushrooms on my pizza and they keeped falling off on to the table as I eat my pizza my last recent visit on June 15 they got my my order wrong again I told the employee I don't like sausage he told me he "sees" me ordering sausage all the time which is not true I don't like sausage I never order sausage but he keeped insisting and came across dismissive at this point Iam never going back to that business . read more

If you come to this restaurant or order online, don't miss out on their amazing mozzarella sticks. These are definitely a favorite for us and keep us coming back! The pizza is delicious, love their sourdough crust, and all of the toppings are always fresh . we haven't explored much outside of the pizza and salads, but they do have a lot of other Italian options. This is such a great place to come with kids because they have a room full of toys that the kids can play with while you're waiting for your food to come. This is my favorite Red Boy. They are located in the Square Shopping Center next to the Dollar Tree. My husband and I dined here for the first time a couple years ago since we get a lot of coupons in the mail. The service is excellent. They have quality ingredients and the sourdough crust is tasty. We have also tried the cesar salad and bruschetta which we enjoyed. They have a large dining area and a separate room for private parties. They also have Fiorello's gelato which I am a fan of. The pepperoni pizza came out piping hot with a perfectly crispy crust, gooey cheese, and generous slices of spicy, fresh pepperoni--it hit every craving spot-on. The wings? Unreal. Ordered dinner through the website for delivery to my hotel room. It is no longer free, but I can manage the $5 delivery charge which is less than other delivery services. My dinner arrived right on time, delivered right to my room by a friendly driver. I had the meatball sandwich and a caeser salad. Their homemade dressing is so tasty! A 147 year old company that made San Francisco famous for its sourdough bread. And the staff is awesome with some of the employees having worked there for over a decade. I happen to like this place. We either order it to be delivered or we go in there to eat our pizza. I usually order the Margarita pizza. (Whole sliced tomatoes and basil) And my husband orders the salami mushroom pizza. We split a salad because it is plenty two. Their crust always comes out to perfection. A small size is perfect for 2 because you get six slices in a small pizza. They give you plenty of beer options and you can get a pitcher of Blue Moon there. So, as a native NYkr, the concept of sourdough pizza crust is kinda blasphemous. With that said, my daughter's school was having a fundraiser supported by this Novato location. I ordered two cheese burgers one with onion rings and one with fries. One with cheddar and the other with gorgenzola. Both were cooked medium rare, as requested. Both had solid amounts of red onion, iceberg lettuce, mayo, and sliced tomato (ketchup and mustard on the side). The burger has a slight char to it too. All and all two large fully fixined up burgers with sides to my door for $30 including a 20% tip is a really good deal for a Covid-19 red meat craving. Tips: 1- Ask to not get plastic utensils if you don't need them. 2- The onion rings traveled a lot better than the fries. read more

These days I can count on Red Boys to be open after all the kitchens in town have closed, and I love that. Large slices of pizza, beer on tap, plenty of space and tables to choose from. They have a great event space for parties that is very affordable. The chicken wings are delicious and the lasagna is good but could use some more lasagna noodles in it. I have also tried the Philly cheesesteak sandwich a few times with no complaints, other than the fact that there are no sweet peppers on it but their jalapeños were a good replacement. Service is great. Everyone is so nice. The waitress with the short blonde hair is delightful and gives great service. I love her energy! I order online, and I have to say they always have pizzas ready within 20 minutes (even though the app says 30), so head out a bit sooner. This location is great! I usually dine in but tonight we ordered delivery. In general their pizzas, pastas and sides are all great! I would like to take a moment to talk about chicken wings. When I order chicken wings I always think about mountain mikes or Round Table wings. They are tiny, swimming in gross sauce and the taste of these tiny bites are not good. It's just sad and always disappointing. I ordered Red Boy wings tonight and they were fire! They were great size, great tasting, and they were not swimming in sauce. The key thing about this place is the GIANT PORTION SIZES! EVERYTHING was HUGE! We started with the calamari which had the perfect creamy cayenne chipotle aioli sauce. There were so many pieces of calamari that we honestly could have eaten just that and had been full. We also got the three little red boys - it was three huge pieces of thick cheesy bread, each with a separate topping. Luckily it came with a side green salad to balance out all the greasy goodness. The funny thing is the "side" salad was basically the size of an entree salad for us so we got in a good portion of our daily veggie requirement from it. Finally we got the yelp check in deal which is the pesto Parmesan sourdough twist for FREE! We thought it was going to be one twist. Nope-it came with an entire plate full of twists we didn't even know what to do with ourselves. We each ate half of a twist and packed the rest for home-it made for a delicious snack the next day! We had also ordered a single slice of plain pizza initially but by that point we knew we couldn't possibly finish everything and we begged the waiter to stop the kitchen from making it, which he graciously agreed to, and took it off our bill. Stuff you just can't make up went down... 1st night home post surgery. I decided to order some comfort food, but it turned into the most uncomfortable experience ever! Management was in very bad, inappropriate form. Clearly he hates his life/job. I ordered Pesto Gnocchi late in the evening. It arrived an hour and 15 minutes later; I was not phased at how long it took and tipped the delivery guy generously. Once opened you could tell that my food was left under the heat lamp a long time. My food was way overcooked, dried out, and barely warm; it was like a mushy bowl of porridge. When I called to tell them how overcooked my meal was I was told "we are very busy", and offered 10% off my next order and promptly dismissed. What? Of course that was not acceptable, the food was inedible. Because they were too busy I asked if I can get credit, or credited back to my cc. It was too late to have anything else delivered as it was nearly time for them to close and he flat out told me he was too busy. I was put on hold and then hung up on. I called back because surely that was an accident. I asked to speak to the manager; when he got on the phone he said "you are not a customer" "and I will not credit" and hung-up on me, again. WHOA, WHAT?HE DIDN'T JUST SAY THAT AND HANG UP ON ME...AGAIN!!!??? I don't know what kind of database he has that told him I am "not a customer", but clearly I just bought food from his Red Boy business on Entrada, and I order pizza there often (or I should say I used to order pizza there often). I am definitely a customer and baffled by his strange reason for not wanting to credit me and for hanging up. At this point I'm in pain, hungry, in disbelief, and now I'm pissed off due to his blatant, unapologetic disrespect. What constitutes not being a customer? Maybe because I don't eat pizza twice a week, IDK? In absolute disbelief that he hung up on me this time it was obvious it was no accident. I proceeded to call back several more times with each call answered and promptly hung up by a MANAGER OF A BUSINESS. I guess he was not having a good day while working a Friday night at the Novato, Entrada Red Boy. I have never heard of an establishment behave in such an unprofessional manner. Please all, save this very unhappy manager who hates his life and hates serving the public while working at a food establishment; maybe stop patronizing that business so this unhappy man doesn't have to work there any longer. We had Marcello (?) as our waiter and he was friendly, knowledgeable and each request was "no problem". So refreshing. Our Yelp check-in garnered us a tasty pesto twist. Soft bread twisted and baked with pesto inside. I ordered the soup of the day which was cream of tomato. Nice and thick and steaming hot! It came with some garlic bread too. Perfect. We split the lasagna and a Greek salad. Lasagna meat was fresh and sauce was flavorful but I prefer my noddles a bit thinner and sauce a bit thicker. It was all tasty just not my style. Restaurant was clean and while there are lots of TVs the volume wasn't and issue. Red BOYYYYY makes the best Pizza in the north bay. Their crust is the only crust I eat without hesitation, it's a sourdough treat. They are located in the strip mall near the dollar store and the Persian market, so free parking! They have a good sized restaurant and a kids/family section. The kitchen is open so you can see them tossing pies around and working. Super family friendly and casual. I love their sausage and mushroom pizza and the lasagne. They make a tasty cheesy garlic bread, or they have the three red boys too. My kids love the spaghetti. It's so good. Last Christmas-time we had family in town so I ordered via the Yelp app and paid and everything and went to pick up but they said they didn't have my food ready. They had a power outage and never got my order. I was pretty bummed but they said we can fix this and had all my food hot and in my hand in 20 minutes. Family said it was the best pizza they had eaten in years. It was a really delicious dinner. They have done in, takeout and delivery. I always forget about Red Boy Pizza ... and after I check in, I forget to write my review. It always smells so good in this place, like a real Italian kitchen, the aroma of garlic fills the air and transports me to another place, and then I order. Oh boy. The garlic bread is super buttery, with a small flavor of garlic, but it's good, it's probably the best thing on the menu! The minestrone soup is never hot enough, so I no longer order it. The pizza is always too greasy/soggy, but, hey, it's flavorful!! The wait staff doesn't seem to enjoy their job. It's like they are being put out to bring refills on water, or even extra napkins, or even take your order. The old location on DeLong was MUCH better. read more

I Love Pesto, Mushroom & Meatball combo best! Tonight I am trying their spaghetti with clams with a white wine, garlic sauce and a Caesar salad and they have these new and pesto Parmesan twists with red sauce on the side and a Caesar salad. We are from out of town and looking for a pizza joint for take out. Looked on Yelp and this place seemed to fit the bill! We scored!! Love this place. We ordered the Antipasto salad with house made Italian dressing on the side. Sooo fresh and large amounts of salami, ham and provolone. Red Boy's Special Pizza. Three of us should have ordered the 12" but went 14". Lots of food for a great price too. Sorry, we were too hungry and wiped it out before I could snap a pic. We held my son's 4th birthday party here this winter, and had a great experience! We set up in the back private room which was perfect for an entire class, plus parents. The pizza was delicious - a number of families from the party now tell us Red Boy is their go-to for a pizza delivery option, too. The staff was responsive leading up to the party, and attentive throughout. We were able to bring in our own toys for the kids to play with, and set them in the bins they provide along the kids' sized tables. The room is spacious with plenty of seating for adults as well. I highly recommend Red Boy for a birthday party (and pizza delivery)! A great option for a large group during the rainy winter months! read more
