Just moved to the area and wanted to look into a tanning salon I can change to. So I tried Boca as they seemed to have good reviews. Pros -Large salon -Bunch of beds / different options - they seemed new or at least really well maintained -Clean -When I told the receptionist I was never here before she was really helpful, friendly and gave me a tour of all the beds and explained what which each focused on. She also tried to see if a package made sense for me based on my future potential frequency, which I did appreciate. Cons -I'm used to doing 15-18 minutes in a booth and seeing automatic results. After speaking with the receptionist I thought we chose the right booth for my quick tan goals. However... I don't even have a tan line to show. -Very expensive omg. When I was charged $38 for a 10 min tan and a packet of lotion, I was shockeddd. I asked how much the tan was and couldn't believe the break down of each. Finally had my teeth whitened. I have to say it was a great experience. One girl was training another girl. They were very nice. The chair was very comfortable. There is privacy while getting one's teeth whitened. Was happy with the results. My teeth looked great. The young lady also instructed me on how to take care of my mouth after the whitening process was completed. No smoking or vaping after a certain amount of time. What I can eat or drink. Etc.. I totally recommend it. The girls were nice. It was a comfortable process. My teeth look great. It's way cheaper than going to a dentist. Then after my teeth were cleaned. I went into the tanning bed. For the summer go to Boca Tanning in West Islip. Get your teeth whitened and then get a tan. Both procedures are relaxing. read more

I got a spray tan , it made me look like I have a disease and they refuse to give me my money back because they don't do refunds. the girl took pictures and sent it to her manager and said come back in 48 hours well spray you for free. Honestly a complete waste of money. I've gotten spray tanned plenty of times at school before and never had a problem. I got the rapid spray tan here which cost $60 (over priced in my opinion). Only to not look any different the next day. I called in 5hrs after the 3hr mark which is when you are suppose to wash it off. I told the person that I wasn't any darker and she said to give it time. I then went into the store 2 hours later to show them im not any darker and they said give it 24hrs to develop. I followed the specific instructions I was told . 24hrs later I look the same shade as before my spray tan. Im very upset with how unprofessional this was handled and am annoyed I wasted $60 for a botched spray tan. The workers were not very polite or helpful in any of this and I would definitely be warning all of my friends not to waste their money here. read more

The ladies that work here are truly very kind and understanding and helpful. You can tell that they really enjoy their work, and that says everything about a company. I want to also stress how advanced these beds are. Best I have ever used. Truly. Not only do they give you results, but they don't cause over drying of the skin. I have extremely dry skin year round, so to be able to say this, is a big deal. The use of the bed did not cause any flaking or drying. The beds are super high tech but they have tons of awesome setting, spray mist on you and have amazing bronzing bulbs. I must say; every girl that works here is really smart. Every time I have called to ask about a service or special, I have been informed of every single detail of the spray tan, how the machine works, how long the tan takes to develop, all the price differences, and how prep and how to prolong the spray tan. The staff really knows their stuff! I just bought a 3 month unlimited spray tan membership today because the Norvelle spa is great and gives a perfect colored, even tan and develops rapidly. I have not found another tanning salon that does unlimited spray tan memberships either so I'm very happy! The girls that help me when I come in are also very friendly and knowledgeable and really do a great job. The woman I encountered was super nice. This being my first spray tan, I was really nervous. However, my tan came out completely blotchy abs was uneven beginning at the first rinse. It has only gotten worse and I'm only on day 2. I would like to think this does not happen to everyone. But unfortunately my tan did not even make it to the shower. read more

I usually dont leave reveiws but since I had such a horrible experience at beach bim tanning i had to leave a reveiw for boca! This place is very clean! the rooms are always taken care of and I've never been disgusted with any(any!) rooms. I used to get a horrible rash from laying in beds at beach bum! I've been here many times and never have gotten that rash! the decor is so cute in every room, its like a vacation feel I'm each one. they provide you with after tan lotion baby wipes jolly ranchers and hair ties Bobby pins ect. I love that since I am the worst with remember ties for my hair haha I love that they have an Alexa in the lay down bed rooms for music! probably one of my favorite things is to put on something I want to listen to while I tan. I have recently tried the stand up again and absolutley love it! the staff is nice and helpful. I recommend this place above beach bum and others any day! Not a huge fan...I used to go spray tanning here but they are shady. The darkest tan is supposed to be called Venetian...however every time I get the highest level, it says medium on the machine...not to mention the fact that they up charge $10 to get the darker spray. I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't really using Norvell spray because I go spray tanning up in Rhode island (in the same machine) and the difference in the tan is insane. My next step is to call Norvell so I can let them look into what Boca is up to. read more

I have been tanning at Boca Tanning salon for quite some time now. Now that there are new owners I love coming here even more! They upgraded the whole salon. They have fun décor, the rooms are spotless, and they now have amazon's alexa in each room with loud speakers! Cleanliness is one thing that a tanning salon must have in order for me to tan there. This salon would get a 10/10 if I could for cleanliness! The bulbs in the beds are always replaced within a timely manner. All of their beds are high quality and the service is great every single time I come. All of the girls there are very sweet and informative. Since I typically work late it's great that they are open until 12 at night which is very convenient for me. I recently had to go there for a spray tan. It was my first time spray tanning there but my god did It come out beautifully! It was quick and easy and the next day I looked like a goddess! I will definitely continue to tan here and I highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants the best tan they can get! read more
