I love how there was plenty of seating all around - no accidentally bumping into someone else while walking around and exploring all the food options! There were hightops, larger tables for groups of 10+ people or for communal seating, and bar seating at some of the vendors too. The space can also be rented out for private parties, etc. The water stations were scattered thoughtfully around the dining areas so you don't need to go far for water or bussing your table. The bathrooms were reasonably clean as well (with a key code - ask at any vendor to get it). I would come back again to try more food - it's a welcoming space. I got Shanghai's Best and was too full to try Lil' Funky Donuts.

I like the concept of this place. It's basically an indoor equivalent of a food cart pod, which is…read morevery Portland in itself. The location is not ideal in terms of access and some of the typical challenges you would expect in downtown Portland. Otherwise, it's a fun experience for an occasional visit and the food options are plentiful. There are about eight food concepts in total on the perimeter of the building with a main bar in the center. I went with a rice bowl from one spot and had a few of the mini donuts from the other location for dessert. I also saw a Thai food concept, a smoothie bar and a ramen spot. There are a lot of different seating options available, but none of them are particularly comfortable. When I went for dinner, the place was only about half full and the trash area was a little bit unkempt. Parking is available on the street or in adjacent lots but everything is paid during typical daytime hours from about 8 AM until about 7 PM. The bathrooms do require an access code but are available on site. Personally, I feel like this place had a bit more clout when it first opened before the pandemic. But, it still has some relevance and it's a great spot for a casual meal just because of the variety of options that are available. If you come with a group, everyone can try what they like. Overall, a good showcase of some under the radar food establishments that conglomerate in a fun shared space. Check it out!

With a well seasoned meal, you can actually taste the care and passion in the food. It annoys me to go out to a restaurant, pay for food where I am expected to season it. Show me what your vision is! Anyway - another outstanding well seasoned and flavorsome meal! Thanks!

Unfortunately, the food quality hasn't kept up with the price point lately. My wife ordered the Bodega Egg & Cheese, and it was disappointing -- the cheese tasted like a basic Kraft single, which really took away from the experience, especially paired with a bagel that didn't elevate it at all. For the price, we expected something more thoughtful and higher quality. The space itself feels like it's still figuring out its identity. "Collective Market" suggests something cohesive, but inside it feels more like a collection of random items -- though to be fair, the wine bottle selection is solid. We love the vibe this place could have, and we really want to keep supporting it. We just hope to see more care and attention go into the food and overall direction -- especially considering how great their sister location, Decadent Creations Bakery, is.
