I love this new spot in the grove. Exactly what the area needed. Every time I walk in, it truly feels like a local spot, from cyclists to dogs, everyone is there for the local vibes. Each time I've gone I've gotten an iced coffee and their bacon, egg, and cheese, and it always hits the spot. The BEC is probably one of the best in Miami. I love the bagel and the sauce it comes with. I can't wait to go back!

I really liked this cute bodega! It is the perfect location right in the heart of the Grove. I thought to myself "finally, a coffee spot that stays open late! You can stop here for other things too such as delicious sandwiches, pastries, and fun snacks. I asked the cashier what her favorite sandwich was, and she urged me to get the Esty's poiscuitt mozzarella. It comes with prosciutto, mozzarella, pesto, tomato, arugula all on a baguette. To me it was too salty, the pesto and prosciutto together...you would need a balsamic glaze to balance it out. However, their coffee was outstanding. I ordered the iced coquito (i think it's an off menu item?) The espresso was rich and i loved the cinnamon on top. phenomenal. That day they also had cookies from Cookies & Schmear and i had the cookies and cream one and it was outstanding. It had huge pieces of oreo an gooey melted cream inside. Everyone was really sweet here, i talked to the owner he was really nice. There is some counter seating inside and also outdoor seating. Parking can be iffy, it's mostly street parking. I would definitely come back for another coffee and a breakfast sandwich .

They keep it moving fast, so typically the line moves right along. Every time I come here, I tell myself I am going to try something new, but I don't because the pan con bistec is always perfection. The steak is thinly sliced, so the sandwich has great texture. It has fontina cheese, which is definitely unique for a steak sandwich in Little Havana. The star, though, is the mojo rojo they put on it. It gives this sandwich an absolute twist you won't find anywhere else. So trust me when I say, wait in the line!

The restaurant is a classic touristy hole in the wall. You stand outside until ready to order, be prepared to wait 30+ mins. I ordered 2 sandwiches, cuban fries, and chicharrones to split with a friend. The cubano (5/5) and pan con bistec (5/5) were absolutely excellent. Both had a perfect ratio of meat and sauce. But what really set it apart was the crispy crusted bread. Spectacular! The chicharrones (4/5) were a steal - MASSIVE portion for like $5. Insane deal, and delicious. The cuban nachos (4.5/5) had their amazing sauce and garlic confit lechon on it. Delicious and would order both again. Overall, this is a tourist spot but one I don't think can be missed.

The food was fantastic as always, and the sangria was delicious and tasted genuinely authentic. A special shoutout to our waiter, Eduardo, who was wonderful. He and my dad instantly bonded over being Costa Rican, and it made the experience feel even more welcoming and personal. The only disappointment was dessert. The pavlova sounded much more exciting than it actually was. It was overwhelmingly sweet, and everything on the plate (the vanilla ice cream, vanilla pavlova, and vanilla whipped cream) had nearly the same flavor, color, and texture. It ended up feeling very one-note and lacked the contrast and freshness that makes a great pavlova memorable. Overall, I'll keep coming back again and again. The food is excellent, the service is warm, and it's just as perfect for watching a match as it is for a great meal. Skip the pavlova, but absolutely don't skip this place.

The service was exceptional and all the servers were attentive, constantly providing water which is a plus! We ordered the chorizo and blood sausage morcilla for an appetizer. I was skeptical about the blood sausage but WOW, it was delicious. The house bread, not pictured, was so good. It was served with a blue cheese spread. We all ordered steaks with a perfectly seasoned salad, side of mash potatoes or fries. Love that our steaks were cooked to perfection. Flan was a perfect finish to a great dinner experience

What they make is interesting and delicious. Plus one or two classic bagels mixed in too. I tried the King Guava, and it was super yummy. The guava flavor really came through, and the cream cheese paired really well with it. I will say the egg was kind of hard to detect, but the potato crisps had the best crunch. The bagel itself also had a really good chew to it. I can't attest to how it would stack up to a New York style bagel, but I really enjoyed it nonetheless. The price point for this place is a pretty decent. And the bagel itself is a pretty filling breakfast. I will definitely be coming back here to get my bagel fix. Also important to note, I have at times seen a long line here, but when I came in right when they opened on Monday morning, there weren't that many people there and it only took 10 min to order and get our order. But I can see how this would change if it was really busy
