The food was okay, but I found the sourdough bread to be really hard and difficult to eat (you know when you eat bread that hurts the roof of your mouth?? Yeah, that). I love their Tiramisu Latte with oat milk! I only wish there was less of a wait for the food but everything we tried we loved, specially the spicy onion toast and the french toast for dessert. The eggs were flavorful, and the toast had a chilly oil spread on it which added a nice zing and acidity to balance the fatty of the sausage. This bakery could be excellent but ultimately there's always a grievance when we go. Today I was very frustrated with my breakfast because they offer a dish called "dippy soldiers" which traditionally are hard boiled eggs with bread sticks that you can stick into the bread. Except they serve it with a massive wide piece of bread there there is no way to stick into the eggs. I just had to struggle to get the egg out with a miniature spoon they give you. The other issue is how much food smell is trapped in this place. We left and everyone commented on how much our clothes, hair and everything smelled like food. This place does not have proper extraction or ventilation. Just from standing in line to order the food we had a lingering food smell until we showered washed our hair and clothes. Facade is the epitome of a cozy breakfast/brunch cafe with out-of-the-ordinary elevated plates and vibes. Although they don't allow laptops, the thing about this place that encourages you to connect the most is how unexpectedly delicious their simple breakfast plates are. From their steak and eggs, to their traditional sausage egg and cheese sandwich that tastes not at all traditional, their food and ambiance is some of the most eloquent of the cafe scene in Miami. Aside of the food plates, which I have yet to try one I don't like, the drink variety is incredible and their matcha and coffees are made with a lot of care. They also have a very unique corn milk latte which as strange as it sounds I would recommend to get you out of your comfort zone. They don't clean regularly enough after each consumer leaves so the tables are often dirty and floors as well. It was so bad that I even felt uncomfortable sitting outside. Facade--where the managment growls and the onions linger. I was the first client of the day and entered thru the open door at 7:50am. I was met by an angry stare and a rude "we're not open". I asked the young lady what time do you open, she responded 8am. Not a smile, nor a "can you give us a few minutes". Nada. Clearly someone not ready to deal with clients. I waited for 10 minutes outside and entered again. I asked once more, are you open. This time, the same angry glare. The response from one young man, "we're still setting up" I checked my watch (8:03a) another staffer (seemed in charge) noticing my face, "it's fine come in". So, I took a seat and waited for my breakfast meeting, noticing a very strong scent of food/onions in the air. At this point I had chosen to not let their poor customer service ruin my morning. After a 45 min meeting, I walked out and Little did I know I'd be wearing the stench of food/onions all day. The ventilation is clearly poor and the fumes of cooked food fill the common area. If you plan to go to work after you might want to reconsider it. Not everyone is made for working with the public - so don't let the "facade" of a long line fool you. read more

Came here the first time and had the onion toast, a latte, an iced matcha (tiny portion), and the egg sandwich and I was not crazy about any of it. The burnt sesame seeds on the bun ruined the sandwich and everything else was just okay and lattes were a bit weak. The sourdough was definitely the standout and the best thing on our first visit. Today I gave them a second try and had the avocado toast which seems basic but was the best avocado toast I have ever had and I eat that everywhere. What sets theirs apart is their garlic aoli which is too delicious to even try to describe and the sauteed scallions. These two additions compliment the dish and add the perfect amount of flavor without being overpowering. Often times garlic aïoli is way too garlicy and strong, but theirs is not. It is creamy perfection. I have now found my go to dish here and will definitely be back for Miami's best avocado toast. Yea it's that good! read more

Just a fair warning not to come to this coffee shop thinking you're going to get any computer work done since you're not allowed. I love that they use glassware, it truly alters the taste of the coffee for the better. It was flavorful, fresh and cold. In addition, I ordered the breakfast sandwich with added avocado. The pastries are really delicious and the dishes are nice as well, some of the bread slices are humongous, though, I really think they need to reduce the size of the slice because it's kind of overwhelming to have a bite that big. Also, the prices are definitely on the high side, I'm surprised that some of the pastries are 8 to 9 dollars and some of the dishes are over $20. Still, this place deserves good reviews given the good quality of food however, it's definitely a splurge to come here! Went to Facade on a Saturday and while the line was long, it moved fairly quickly. The seating is limited so make sure to keep an eye out for any open seats. Don't be one of those people that steals a table when you have 30 people in front of you. By the time you get to the cashier, someone is bound to be finishing. Food was great we shared a ham and cheese croissant, mushroom and eggs, and sausage and egg toast. The mushroom and eggs was the star. I don't like mushrooms but the cream sauce was the best thing we ate. Croissant as well and the sausage toast was delicious but if you have to get one thing get the mushroom.
