Leslie G.

The food here is absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. They cook it right in the bag, which really locks in the flavor -- you can taste the freshness in every bite. The service is excellent as well. It appears to be a family-owned, mom-and-pop style restaurant, and it truly shows in the care they put into their food and how they treat their customers. Highly recommend! Great ambiance, feels so cozy.

I found Chandler's Place by accident, I was walking along Alhambra Plaza and I noticed the restaurant. I decided to come back and give them a try for lunch. Inside is very tiny, three or four tables and then one or two outside. My waitress was friendly, the Steak sandwich was perfectly done. It's nice to see a mom and pop type of place inside downtown Coral Gables. I will definitely come back and try other things on the menu

Cuban sandwich

This is a small place , they have a big menu they making catering and excellent dessserts !!! Amazing

Breakfast. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, coffee

Best breakfast! Stumbled upon this cafe while walking to a different breakfast place. Stopped here instead and fell in love with the food and the people. Cozy environment. Sat inside but also has outside options. Stopping here was the best little surprise of my morning!

I'm rating this 5 stars. Nice warm and friendly spot hidden in coral gables - breakfast was great , my wife and I had scrambled eggs with ham and bacon, Cuban style.

$22 for a feast! I had a chicken caprese sandwich, Which was good. I thought there would be pesto sauce but it was actually large leaves of basil. Still delicious. Pumpkin soup was good. The pasta salad was delicious! Brownie was good. Not very sweet - perfect for people who don't like overly sweet desserts. And a sample of pumpkin bread. I will be back!

Just the definition of a great mom and pop breakfast lunch spot. Chandler runs the front of house while James is in the back cranking classic rock and dishing out great food This is my go to spot in the gables for breakfast and lunch when I don't want to think about what I'm having. Just great people and food

The service was exceptional and all the servers were attentive, constantly providing water which is a plus! We ordered the chorizo and blood sausage morcilla for an appetizer. I was skeptical about the blood sausage but WOW, it was delicious. The house bread, not pictured, was so good. It was served with a blue cheese spread. We all ordered steaks with a perfectly seasoned salad, side of mash potatoes or fries. Love that our steaks were cooked to perfection. Flan was a perfect finish to a great dinner experience

They offer bread service, but I was taken aback when the dipping sauce was a blue cheese spread and not butter. It was quite interesting tasting, but not terrible either (I just wish they told us before I got the flavor shock). The service was very attentive and our food came out promptly. We also tried their tortellini Aurora pasta dish which was very good. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again would be the mushroom dip. It was just so much food and so heavy/greasy. Maybe if we had a large group of 4 people to share it would make sense, but just for two people I would rather have gotten something else.

We probably had 3 different servers, I loved how they all worked together. They were all friendly and polite; Alegra was the one we talked to the most, she was terrific. On to the food, we loved it! We had a Morrocan Spice Avo Toast with a poached egg, it was delicious!! Had to take half home. We also ordered Pope Benedict and WOW was it good. The hash browns were crispy, the eggs were perfect and the cauliflower purée delicious. I wanted there to be more of it! We also had a perfectly made latte served in a glass who I love and a calming refresher, so good. If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and go! Can't wait to go back and try other things.

It is a lovely patio to sit out on and I love the decor touches and the overall vibe. The service tends to always be slow but the servers are all friendly. Don't head out here if you are starving. The pigs in a blanket are quite tasty as are the latkes. The lox there is spot on and one of the few places I'll get lox. The tower is quite beautiful as well. Everything here is expensive, but well done. A winning spot for a leisurely brunch on a beautiful day.

What's the deal with breakfast places that don't believe in breakfast?…read more The restaurant looks great. Beautiful lighting, stylish design, gorgeous bathrooms. You walk in and think, Wow, this place has it together. That feeling lasts until you sit down. It took about 10 minutes for the waiter to greet us. Not busy ignoring us--just slowly realizing we existed. No water. No hello. Just eye contact from across the room like, I'll get to you eventually. I order French toast. Very simple. A classic. Bread. Heat. That's it. I get my omelette--poorly prepared--and a latke that somehow managed to be raw in the middle. Not undercooked. Raw. Like the potato was still considering a career change. I finish my entire meal. Table is completely empty. Done. Finished. Closure. And then... the French toast arrives. Now here's where it gets interesting. I say, "Oh, I think this was forgotten." And the waiter says, "No, that's dessert." Dessert. At breakfast. Who is ordering dessert for breakfast? What kind of confidence do you need to say that out loud? And if it's dessert, why wasn't it suggested as dessert? Why wasn't the table cleared? Why does it feel like the French toast just wandered out here on its own? Then we argue about it. I don't want to argue about French toast. That's not where I thought my day was headed. This place feels like a design firm said, "Let's absolutely nail the vibe... and then just see what happens with the food." Save your money. Save your time. If you want ambiance, go in, admire the lighting, use the bathroom, and leave. If you want breakfast, go somewhere that agrees with the concept of breakfast. Because right now, Sadelle's is serving confusion--with a side of toast.
