Bodega Tile made a completely-custom fireplace for my home that came out beautiful and far exceeded expectations. I'm a hard person to please when it comes to custom work in my home and Bodega knocked it out of the park on this one. Brian was phenomenal and took the time (including multiple trips to my house) to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted, including style, dimensions, etc. I basically showed him a 2D picture of a fireplace from a Restoration Hardware magazine and he replicated it to perfection in my home. He was very responsive and excellent in communicating to keep me up to date on the status of the project and scheduling an installation date. On install date, he took the time to protect the surrounding area and to make sure the final product looked perfect. I ordered multiple tile samples from these guys 3 weeks ago, and I was told it would come in either the next day (being thursday) or on Monday. Well Tuesday comes along and I call about the order. They say the person I need to speak to is busy so I left my number... no call. I call back a week later, still no tile and the person I need to speak to never called me back again. I call again today 3 weeks later! and I still don't have any tile samples and they are saying that I wont be able to get the refund on items I never received. IF YOU ASK ME THAT IS STEALING. Take my advice NEVER deal with these people they are as crooked as can be! read more

Johana was by far the most helpful, friendly and professional sales person we've met looking for tile. We visited a few stores for a project we're doing, and when most places heard how small our project was, they left us on our own. Johana at Bodega Tile was the exception. She helped us with our selection, got us samples to see how they'd look, never pressured us, and remembered us when we came back 2 weeks later. Bought tile for a master bath project. Bodega tile was to bullnose and paint the edges of a certain number of pieces for about $450. On the second day of tiling our tiler (and this was the fourth project he was doing for us, definitely an expert in his field) said there was a problem. He was cleaning off a bullnosed piece before placing it - and the bullnosed paint came off. He showed me that if you just lightly flick it with your nail the paint scraped right off. WTF? Back to Bodega - they said they'd fix it and they didn't - it appeared they were just painting it in their warehouse instead of taking to a third party expert (which is what they told us they'd do). Paint still flaked off. They said they'd refund our money and replace the defective tiles we had to rip off our walls. They refunded about 10% and didn't replace any of the ruined tile. The salesman we were dealing with ran away from the store when he knew we were coming and left the ladies who work there to deal with us. We had to buy new tile elsewhere and find a place to bullnose and paint the edges - they did a great job and agreed that whoever painted our tiles previously had no idea what they were doing. All this set us back about a MONTH in our project. read more
