We went with Lighting and Electrical to get a few light switches fixed (1 switch needed to be replaced, and 1 switch needed to be triaged for fixing). We also got recessed lights for our guest room. The first time they came, they fixed 1 light switch and installed the 4 recessed lights, and we paid $730. The light switch they fixed was crooked. The brand of recessed lights used wasn't the greatest quality (Sunco). They did diagnostics for the second switch, but told us they would have to come back to fix it and that they would give us a quote to fix it. They didn't send us a quote until I had made multiple attempts to call and message them for it. For the second time they came, the price to fix the light was $195 (they needed to do some rewiring work). I appreciated that they used shoe covers and tried their best to clean up after the work. They also tried their best to straighten the light switch that was crooked during the first job. They were able to straighten the panel, but the switch inside the panel wasn't super straight. Both times, they were late and at least 30 minutes past the time window they provided us. Overall, I would not recommend Lighting and Electrical and would not hire again. read more
