She's fast (as in less pain as possible) but very meticulous when it comes to finding the strays. She checks and double checks before finishing up..seriously gotta love that. Meh~ a bit dishonest about pricing. The massage was okay, I guess i like the massage but overall my neck and back is still stiff. And i had Chris as my therapist. He was breathing super loud, it was louder than the background ocean music and it was a bit hard for me to relax. Even my boyfriend said it was hard for him to tune out the noise. Lol didnt mind it too much though the massage was ok and i thought wow for that price awesome. Wrong. Except for the end he did some type of facial that rubbed off my eyebrows, (so no eyebrows walking around pearlridge, thanks) As for the receptionist I had to knock down two stars, first she gave me the wrong price, i had seen on their website a couples massage was $75 I thought wow what a deal, then confirmed with the receptionist on the phone if it was 75 for a couple massage ? and she said yes, but failed to mention it was 75 each my bad for misreading buy I did ask her to clarify and she lead me to believe that it was 75 total. The actual total was over $150. Wow what a rip, I had asked her on the phone if that was correct and she said yes. I could of went to town for a 75 minuet massage with foot reflexology for 65 each but was super tired from working all week and wanted to go somewhere close. Lesson learned. And of course I think she was new and quite rude it took her about ten minuets to book my appointment, which I was patient about even with her constatly asking her trainer in the back how to do everything, from the booking to cash out. I was repeating and respelling my name as well as my boyfriend at least 6 times each. Then at the end when it was time to pay the bill she was just like "last name ok that will be 150." Not even how was the service. I also didn't like the way she asked if we were going to leave anything on the card I didn't understand what she meant and I asked her to clarify "do you mean tip ?" "yeah." she rudely replys. Wow. . made me feel as though she thought we were cheap scapes and she must of thought we were going to stiff them??? There was a much nicer way to ask for tip verses that tone and annoyed face. I had to ask her for the envelop which the therapist said they had at the front and left cash. This is my first and last time there after that experience with a rude careless receptionist. Please careless rude noob receptionist work on your smile and attitude, you work in an industry with paying customers and you effect the therapist tips and caused a very unpleasant experience. I've been going here for a while. They are pros, the staff is attentive and personal and the massage therapists are really good. I've never had a sub-par massage there and they worked with me when I had an injury to find ways to work on me without hurting me. The main draw for me is the chair massage. I can go in, get a 15 minute massage and keep going. Many of the other massage places have a chair but only one therapist and they don't really use it. These guys have four and they are in regular use. They also have all of the regular massage rooms and I've used them but mainly I go for the chair massage. I have found the male and female therapists to be equally effective and at this point I can walk in and be assured that whoever works on me will be very good at what they do. read more

I was on vacation to Hawaii during the Spring Break with family. I was very worn out from the packing, the wait at the air port, the 5 hours on the plane, and the arriving to the hotel after the landing. I was referred by a friend about this location. WOW BAD experience!!! I booked an hour massage with a lot of conversation on the phone (so this was not lack of clarity). When I got there, after driving for 30 minutes, they tried to convince me it was only a 30 minute massage and that they were going to have to reduce it to a 15 minute chair massage. OMG! The scheduling of appointment is terrible and so disappointing!!! 2/3/16 I was originally schedule to get the 3:30pm appointment for some circumstances I knew I will not make it in time so I gave them a call for early notice and informed them that I cannot make it at 3:30pm and someone said its okay to just come...so I went there at 3:45pm and try to get another schedule and willing to wait for 5:45pm...so to consider the waiting period I decided to walk around and the front desk personnel told me that she will give me a call before 5:45 and that nothing to worry. I was holding my phone all the time but I don't hear it's ringing.... I noticed the waiting period took so long and I check the time it was 5:55pm so I went to them and asked for my appointment and the same girl told me that she was trying to call my number twice and that she cannot contact me but when I asked her what was number she dialed she said it wrong the last digit of my number no wonder I don't get any calls, they said it direct to my voicemail but I don't get any message on my voicemail coz probably they dial the wrong number...then I have no choice but to get another appointment for today friday 2/5/16.The front desk told me 10am is my appointment time... But yesterday I got a call, a voice message to confirm my book appointment is at 10:30am today...so I was confused so I called the number back yesterday to confirm what is my appointment time and she said it was at 10:30am for waxing and eyebrow so in my mind it's a sure appointment at 10:30am coz I don't want to waste my day again for nothing... So earlier today At 10am I was on my way and excited to get the service but suddenly I got a voice message from their front desk personnel telling about 10am appointment??? I was like what are you talking about??? I arrived at 10:15am asking for my 10:30am appointment but the front desk said I missed the 10am appointment?! It was a terrible experienced I even play the voice message that they left confirming my 10:30am schedule..and I Was even 15minutes earlier and just to find out that I missed my schedule? I just redeemed by birthday gift certificate for this spa and the outcome was...pretty good? I haven't had a massage in a looong time so I was a little confused as to which massage to choose. I went with the deep tissue massage for 60 minutes. The masseuse was good and made time to ask about which areas I wanted to focus on the most. The only thing I didn't care for was the toilet seat cover-like paper sheet that you had to put your face down on. I understand it is for sanitation reasons, but when she was massaging by scalp it was like someone was scrunching tissue paper in my ears. The receptionist was also really sick and was handling out forms to fill out without wearing gloves or a mask. For a spa/health facility I would think they would be more conscious about that. But overall the massage was affordable and satisfactory. I would not mind coming back for a chair massage mid-shopping. read more

You would think this spa is very nice from the looks of it when walking by. Staff is nice, the receptionist that usually greats me is friendly and knowledgeable (Selena? Victoria is another kind receptionist). My usual massage therapist is Chris Johnson, he is AWESOME. I consider myself a regular. I go here out of convenience of the location and I like that they give military discount, I appreciate that. So I have attempted to give this spa an open mind, but enough is enough. There are too many things that need to be corrected by management and owner(s) before I step foot back into this establishment. 1. There is a cockroach issue. I have seen roaches on the walls and floors on several different occasions. If I see them as a customer, I know the staff sees them day in and day out. For every 1 cockroach you see, there are a plethora you do not see. Unsanitary, not to mention how can I relax and get a massage when I see bugs around me? 2. While I was in the front waiting area, the receptionists were folding linen. What I find extremely disturbing is that the sheets they are folding are long in length and it drags on the floor while they're folding plus being stepped on. These are the same sheets the customer will be laying down on! Yet again, unsanitary. 3. Again, as I was waiting in the front waiting area, a customer spilled some water on the floor. One of the managers out of all people, grabbed the towels that they use for facials and soaked up the water. I don't know about you, but if I am going to get a facial I would want a clean towel. Not one that has been used as a mop. Unsanitary. 4. There was a spill outside of room 1. Right in front of me, the massage therapist grabs the sheets of the massage table and cleans the spill up with it. These are the same sheets you and I would be laying on when receiving our service. Unsanitary (AGAIN). 5. I feel very suffocated in there. The front area where you sit to wait is extremely limited on space. If the seats are used up then you're going to have to stand and if you do, you're in the employees way when they're walking to and from. The rooms are very small. The worst part about the rooms are that they are very poorly insulated to omit noise. When I get a massage, I want to feel relaxed and it should be quiet. I can hear the entire conversation between the client and therapist in the next room over. There isn't even an actual wall between the two rooms, it is a pull out door. Ridiculous. I shouldn't be able to listen to someone else's personal conversation. I felt very uncomfortable and awkward. That is a total of 4 unsanitary examples. How does management and owner(s) not see this going on and not correct these issues? How does a manager take part in this and see nothing wrong with it? The spa needs to get with the program and provide a relaxing atmosphere and clean up the place with bug bombing and when spills occur, use an actual mop or paper towels. Pros: A. I came here on my birthday for a massage while I was on vacation. I figured it would be a nice, relaxing treat on my birthday, an escape from my stressful job. I had written on the form that I preferred moderate to firm pressure - well Lily took that very seriously... I asked for lighter pressure after she started because the amount of pressure she was using was painful; she would decrease the pressure for a minute or two before returning to super firm pressure. I at one point pulled my arm away from her while she was "massaging" it because the massage was so painful. She forgot to do the aromatherapy that I paid for (they offered to refund the difference to me but at that point I just wanted to leave). I woke up the next day with the start of a massive bruise on my back and severe pain between my shoulder blades. Very displeased - it was a waste of my money and now I'm in more pain that I was before the massage. read more

I like coming here to get massages because it is so convenient. It is located in Pearlridge Mall and if you don't have an appointment you can get a chair massage and walk around the mall while you wait. The receptionists are always friendly and helpful. They offer to get you water while you wait for your appointment. I have gotten massages from a couple different people, but Charissa has been the best. She really works hard to try and get all of my kinks and knots out and she is friendly and personable. Everyone has their own personal preferences and likes and dislikes when it comes to massages so it is good to try a couple of different masseuses so you can find the right one for you. The only drawbacks are that the waiting and chair massage areas are kind of tight and cramped. Sometimes you can hear the noise from the mall, but sometimes you are so into your massage that you don't notice. read more
