The Incident: On Monday, August 10th at 5:00 AM, the doors remained locked with no employees on site. Multiple members stood outside in the dark waiting for staff that never arrived, eventually forcing everyone to abandon their workouts and leave. The Issue: This isn't just a minor delay; it's a fundamental failure of local management to enforce basic shift reliability and opening procedures. Paying members structure their daily routines around published operating hours, and complete staff no-shows show zero respect for members' time and this is not the first time it's happened. Management at the Beach Blvd location needs an immediate overhaul or intervention from the District Manager. Until this branch demonstrates basic operational reliability, look for a gym that actually opens its doors on time.

First given that we are still in a pandemic I had no plans to return to a gym until things improve. But who needs a gym when Adonis has a mobile open air gym! I feel safe and comfortable working out. Everything is always clean and his equipment is in good shape. Adonis is flexible and accomodating when scheduling workouts which is great! He is supportive and encouraging but definitely pushes you. I enjoy his exercises because they often target multiple areas rather than just a single muscle. For example, this weekend we did a triceps workout that had a balance component so I also got a core workout! His passion for his work comes through not just in the cool person he is but also in the attention he has given to his mobile gym. Every week, he has tweaked something, added something new, etc. Literally every piece of the gym inside AND outside has a purpose! I can't imagine training with anyone else! I honestly felt lucky to have find out about Mike. He was able to pinpoint my issues almost instantly after getting me to do a few stretches and movements. We then started working right away on movements for my shoulder. I was super impressed because I've never felt the activations of my shoulder ligaments like I did with Mike. After our session, he even helped me out with my other minor issues such as my left wrist and lower back. He provided me with all of the exercises and warm ups via an app and it's super organized. I often just dealt with the discomfort, but over time the ankle strains resulted in my other muscles having to overcompensate and make me more prone to injury. With a thorough assessment, he was able to see which muscles I was inconsistently engaging and go through different exercises to address the issues. Even though they were simple exercises, I really felt it in those underused muscles. Mike does a great job in not only assessing the issue, but also explaining and providing solutions. He follows up with a program so that you can continue recovery on your own. All bases are covered when you work with him. My personal go-to when I need PT done!

I will start by saying the facility is nearby, very clean, patrons clean up after themselves well and aside from the typical phone scrollers hogging machines, I was able to get in a decent workout session each time. Equipment was new and several varieties, lots of heavy bags, octagon, challenging obstacles. I walked in and first thing I hear is "they can't come in!" Referring to my kids. I had heard that this gym allowed ages 8+ with parent supervision. Whatever the case maybe, no way to greet a potential customer. Automatic turn off. I respect the rules, but the next time I went, I saw a ton of kids walking the floor. What gives? My kids are almost teens! This alone swayed me away from becoming a member. It turns out the manager was the manager for this location, which is shocking to me. It must trickle down to the staff, they were not very friendly, knowledgeable of the membership options and the pricing did not appeal to me one bit. I hate to stick with 24 hour fitness, but sadly it's a better choice.
