Suite Rental Review: The end of January of 2026 I was forced to vacate in 11 days at the Southwest Body Spa location due to its closure. I was empathic to this and viewed a room at the Charleston location, I never signed a new lease with Body spa here (thank you Jesus) Upon deciding this I was ignored upon requesting multiple times for my security deposit back. Then finally told by Debbie that I wont be getting it back because I "got a good deal". Come to find out this is something past tenants have also had happen to them. Its now April and I will be taking them to small claims in May. I am deeply disappointed in Debbie Ritchey and Jacobs bad business. This review is for Maya Skin Sanctuary located inside Body Spa West. I really wanted to treat myself for my birthday and had been referred to Maya by some friends who are savvy facial afficionados. She has a great variety to her menu and I decided on The Violet Hour Deluxe Facial, which is 90 minutes of purposeful pampering. I loved the super anti-aging results of this facial and noticed that the facial really helped to resurface, retexturize and diminish the appearance of wrinkles on my skin, which was my main concern. The oxygen treatment part of the facial really plumped my skin to glowing, glossy perfection! It was worth every penny. My facial also included dermaplaning to remove that fine baby hair from my face and created a much smoother canvas and also, a soothing jelly mask was applied for that extra calming effect. Maya is very gifted and I could tell her techniques were advanced; she is really passionate about her work and it shows! She also gave me a great massage for my neck, shoulders, and hands and arms, while the masks and different serums were absorbing into my skin. Also, the ambience of her beautiful treatment room did not go unnoticed. I was looking for a local place to get my hair done, so my coworker recommended me to Krisha at Body Spa. This place is on Charleston in the plaza adjacent to Whole Foods. I had an ombré and wanted to dye my hair back to it's original color for my wedding. I asked Krisha to do that and cut my hair with layers so the front of my hair wouldn't be too long when I did an up-do. And it came out perfectly! At the end of the dye and cut, my hair was luscious, soft, and silky. Thank you Krisha! Also, just a sidenote, Body Spa is huge! I got a little lost when I walked in because it's like 3 buildings attached together. So it would be good to know who you are meeting with. If I could put zero stars I would. First off, I went to Julie shes right in the front to the right of suite 190, I would avoid at all costs. She told me she could do extensions and reassured me many times that my hair would not be damaged and it would look beautiful and blend nicely. At my initial consult she failed to mentioned that she charges by piece. and all these extras. which would've been fine if she told me. not surprised me at my appointment. secondly, she did the extensions and the length was nice i left with my hair curled because i'm pretty sure she even noticed how horrible of a job she did. She did not blend the top of my hair, left a huuuge thick layer without extensions and when i asked her about it many times she wanted to charge me to go back to have it fixed. Which i didn't think was appropriate for me to have to pay for her to fix her mistake. thirdly, after going back and forth for another 2 weeks i finally was able to get these extensions off. I was in such aw that i had no words except for wow. My hair is soooo thinned out because of her and it's of all different lengths and has botched layers when my hair wasn't like this before i sat in her chair. I'm still at an aw of how damaged, unhealthy & botched my hair is. And let's not forget to mention that she left chucks of adhesive in my hair still. I would've had more respect for her as a stylist if she bothered to try to wash the adhesive out. She said it various of time that in her mind she felt like she did a wonderful job. I've asked for a refund and tried to communicate to her the issues but all she wants is her money for a job well done no matter the consequences of the client. Money hungry. I wasn't even asking for all of it back because being in the service industry myself I know how it is, but let's not forget to mention that I bought my own hair according to what she told me, so there was no issues with her knowingly and taking responsibility for the botched service I received. At the end of the day, if she would've handled it differently, we wouldn't be in this position. And I strongly feel she shouldn't have her license anymore. It's not right what she did and how she handled the situation. A lot of her fellow hairdressers in the salon stopped me to let me know as well that it was within my right to go back and ask her to fix the problem. A lot of my fellow hairstylists at my salon also told me in lack of words, that she botched my hair and I should report to State Board as soon as possible. My hair was not this length & didn't have layers. I'm missing chucks of hair on my sides. Im at loss for words.. read more

But.....this review is more for Crissy, my stylist, not so much the place. She's really great and my wavy, curly, fine hair always behaves well after I see her. My needs are fairly basic: I wear it longish and just need the regular trim and make sure the color is fresh and highlights subtle. Crissy makes the time go by fast. My review is only for Lady who does hair in this salon. She is very nice and professional! I usually go out of town to get my hair done, because every time I try someone in Las Vegas it's not a good experience. One person ruined my extensions by coloring them, other people take forever to reply to any questions, and they are way too expensive for no reason. I needed extensions installed & the extensions and my real hair colored. Everyone else I've been to previously, made me take the extensions in a day or two before my appointment to color them. It was very convenient when she told me that she could do everything at the same time. I texted her early in the morning checking availability and she was able to get me in the same day at 2pm!! I'm not sure what the prices for all of her services are, except the ones I've had. Sew in extensions- $200 (lasts about 3 months if you take of your hair) Color- $65 & up (Mine was $100 because of how much she had to color) The total time including her dying the hair was about 3 hours. Some people will have you in the salon literally all day and it's horrible. I LOVE MY HAIR and I'm going back in a couple of weeks to get it lighter. She couldn't do it exactly the color I wanted the same day, it would've damaged my hair. I've been going to the body spa west (Ste. 130) location for a few months now, and although it appears to be very clean and quiet, there are hair stylists who refuse to take any COVID precaution. Specifically the lady (with short brown hair) in room Room 63. She never has a mask on, doesnt require her clients to wear them either, and leaves her salon door wide open. It also doesnt help that every time I pass the door she's constantly talking... spreading germs. I feel uncomfortable every time I have to walk past her work station. Need a fabulous colorist/stylist to color your locks, just call Sharyn Pryatel at Body Spa. I have been coming to Sharyn for a couple of years now. I have never had such a caring stylist when it comes to taking care of my hair. Sharyn takes the time to get to know you and what you are looking for in terms of color, highlighting, cut etc. She then inserts all the ingredients into a squeeze bottle and begins the magic transformation to your hair. It takes about two hours for the whole process, but so very worth it. Once you are ready to rinse, Sharyn washes all the color out and washes your hair. She then gives your hair a special conditioning treatment which makes your locks all shiny. For those that love a good head massage Sharyn is one of the best. She uses high quality products and genuinely cares about your hair and how you want it to look. This will be my first negative review I've ever left since joining Yelp. I hope the management at Body Spa Salon cares enough to improve itself. I've been coming here well over a year to have bi weekly mani/pedi because it happens to be where my nail tech works. The music and general atmosphere gets a Zero from me. Without exception the music is anything but relaxing. Most times, there are several young boys playing video games on the unoccupied pedicure station. Why don't their mothers, whoever they are, get babysitters for them? This is suppose to be a relaxing, beautiful and restful experience. It never is. How my nail tech can stand it I don't know. Just today, she has requested the 80's disco music be turned down to a manageable decibel. To no avail. Cleanliness is fine, and there's always easy parking. They actually are so competitive that they will block you from going to their saloon if you make an appointment with someone else. The worst is Sally who is so rude and disrespectful to customers.
