Upon checking in, I was met with a dry, smile-less hello and nothing further. She made no eye contact from what I could tell through her glasses. She didn't even bother to look up at me! Very rude and unwelcoming. The doctor however was exceptionally nice and informative! He really took the time to answer all of my questions, which I appreciated. They validate parking which is a good plus and convenient. Overall the office is nice and well kept. They also have IV's there which was a nice surprise. MarshaLynn's Testimony I am trying to figure out where to start, so a simple thank you to the staff and doctors at Body System Wellness for enabling my boyfriend to be at this stage in his recovery, where he is about 95% pain free, from what his primary care physician called end-stage arthritis is a prayer that has been answered. They attended to him at every doctor's appointment as he was the only patient they had the entire day. And that meant a lot to me. Appointments are on time, the staff is super friendly and engaging, and the facility is spotless.

Just to give a quick update. For preventative measures due to COVID, I routinely visit BSW for IV drips that have vitamin C, D, Zinc etc. I found out they offer rapid result COVID tests! One of my friends was worried she had been exposed to someone who tested positive a couple weeks ago, so I told her to call BSW and we were able to set up an appointment within hours for COVID rapid testing. We were in and out in 30 minutes with her test result and it was the most affordable option of the other testing locations. BTW: They also do home visits where a nurse will come to your house and administer the test in your driveway! Dr. K was super knowledgeable and helpful. The staff were wearing masks at all times and the office was clean and sanitized. We were relieved we got the test done within hours instead of waiting a couple days for an appointment. Today was another visit/follow up after stem cell injection last week. Pain level has dropped, functionality has improved , but it's a healing process that requires time. Obviously we expect to get up and start running marathons, but time is of the essence and will let the healing go through its normal course. But when I called Body Systems Wellness, they offered me three slots to pick from that day. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Edita at the reception desk. She had me fill out the "first visit" e-form on her iPad. Not too long after, she walked me to the Drip lounge out back. It was clean and well decorated with a TV fully loaded with streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu, to keep me entertained during the session. Levon, the PA, came in, sat down and asked me what was I looking for. I told him I had sickle cell anemia and wanted extra hydration to help deal with my underlying condition, he was already familiar with the condition. He gave me the drip I needed without trying to sell me something more expensive. I ended up having the Hydromax drip with a bonus complimentary zinc. I had been having much pain on my joints lately and once I had the dose of IV therapy, my chronic knee pain (caused by lack of hydration) subsided just a few hours later. Everyday, I work out and I drink a lot of water with electrolytes but nothing gave me pain relief like this. I was even able to play ball hockey that night with a lot more stamina and endurance, considering that we were at the tail end of a heat wave. Currently on the weight loss program, I can't rave enough about it. I'm on day 36 and I'm down 14lbs. I had two knee meniscus injuries doing Caporeira two years a part followed by two microscopic knee surgeries to shave the torn meniscus. Ten years later standing or walking became excruciating. I am now beyond happy for the stem cell injections one per knee I had with the BSW team. I rely on yelp reviews to help me make decisions so thought it was important to share my weight loss experience with Body Systems Wellness. Here are my thoughts: Pros 1. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant. 2. The drops do help you lose weight/fat if you follow the diet. Cons 1. The box of drops (really what the program is, along with daily recipes) is very expensive - $1,800 is what I was charged. I lost 15-18 pounds on the program and am maintaining but there is no way that box of drops costs anywhere near what they charge. I told the doctor after he told me the price that it was quite a bit more than I expected. Had I known the price before I went in, I am sure I would have researched other options and maybe went with skinnyup.com or Optavia, which many people report losing 30 pounds on the program (I know personally for the Optavia). I know these programs work for a fraction of $1800. 2. The diet is "Very" restrictive. "No" oil or fats. "No" regular salad dressing. "No" avocados. "No" salmon. "No" pork. Nothing with fat/sugar/carbs. Maintaining that for a couple of months is a lot of work, so it's not the drops alone that help you lose. It takes a lot of discipline and effort to maintain this diet. 3. There is app where you can ask questions and track your weight. The answer to every question was just follow the program exactly - whatever is in the little New Wave Weightloss Guide. I'm the kind of person that wants to understand why I'm doing what I'm doing and if I can make adjustments. If there is no explanation as to why, you can't do that. I wanted to add plant-based products to my diet that had less fat than meat and the answer was "No" and no explanation as to why. I would have appreciated having this information before I scheduled, so I share it here. The best to you and your health. read more
