When getting a massage, your nails done, your hair done or anything in that matter it's an issue to find a great place where people do a good job and treat you politely. Today I came here and had probably the best massage I've ever had. I got the relaxation and back massage with a lady named Petite. She immediately greeted me and walked me into the massage room where it was very cozy and private.(along with a heated bed!) She asked me where I needed the most attention. So I told her and she did a damn good job helping my knots and pain. She was also very organized and thorough in the way she massaged. It was very relaxing and at times did hurt but I like that because I know that it will feel so much better tomorrow. Thanks Petite for the great massage!! I have never "yelped" before. I read yelp reviews all the time - but this is a first for me. I just had to. I've been coming to BodyCentre for a couple of years now, and I've only ever had positive experiences. I had an amazing therapist that is no longer there, and the other that I have wanted ever since I tried her (Minja) is always booked. I had nothing but "assembly required" gifts for the kids this Christmas (including a 14' trampoline I put together myself...I'm a 32 year old mother of 2 that won't be jumping on a trampoline any time soon). Needless to say, I need a good massage. I decided to try someone new - and reading the yelp reviews only somewhat helped. I decided to book with Olga for a 1-hour Relaxation with Back Therapy. First off, let me just say - she was all about my needs. From the get, she wanted to make sure she was taking care of my problem areas. But she didn't stop there! She stretched me out, after asking permission (wowza). She spent so much time on my lower back, and neck/shoulder area I thought for sure my hour was up (and I was okay with all of it on my back) - but then she didn't stop there. I got the full body treatment, and I didn't realize until I was driving home that she had actually spent closer to 90 minutes on me (no extra charge)! She mentioned that she doesn't like to rush through time with her clients...and now I know what she meant. I will definitely be making Olga MY therapist, and sending more people her way. I hope she reads this - because she deserves to know how good she did, and I will be using the tips she gave me to stretch at my desk throughout the day. THANK YOU OLGA!!! My husband and I were on vacation and looking for a little relaxation. We went with this place because of all of the great yelp reviews. We were both under-impressed. My therapist was Aileen, my husband's therapist was Evelyn. While the staff was friendly, the accommodations clean, and the 90-minute massages were actually the full time (not cut short by changing time), the massages themselves were just so-so. Nothing bad in particular (besides that we both wanted deep tissue and did not get the pressure that we wanted), but nothing spectacular. I went in yesterday to get a massage. I got it done by Mika and she was amazing. My back, neck and shoulders were stiff and achy and she hit on all the right spots in the right ways and with the right amount of pressure. She really knows her stuff. I've been to a few masseuses but she's the only one who actually did a good, thorough job in taking care of all my knots and problem spots while all the others felt rushed and half-assed. I have been coming to the Body Centre for 5 years now, and I have a great experience every time. The front desk receptionist always welcomes me, asks me how I am, and remembers me from previous visits. During my most recent visit, I got Missy as my massage therapist and I really enjoyed it! She asked me if I had a specific problem areas and focused on those areas (like my shoulder and legs) for part of the massage. First timer here, first timer for a massage in general and it did not disappoint. A friend and I booked an appointment online and I was assigned to Aileen. She was awesome. Friendly and informative. I have to admit I was a bit tense and weirded out stripping down and jumping onto a bed and sticking my face in the tiny breathing hole but the massage started and it was totally relaxing after, well except when the knots were being pushed around, that kinda hurt but it's supposed to hurt right? Lol. Anywho, I didn't say a peep about it and let her work her magic. 55 minutes later I felt extremely relaxed, almost fell asleep once or twice too and I didn't want it to end. My advice is do not plan anything after your massage and just go home and sleep for the rest of the day. I was sooooo relaxed I was almost falling asleep on the drive home haha. Woke up with a crazy back shoulder and neck pain all the way up to my head. Was in desperate need to feel better wo needing to lay down all day. Felt tired and stressed from work too so I decided to Yelp for a place vs going to a chiro or acupuncturist. I needed a massage fast! I thought I needed a stress relief massage, and from reading previous yelper's review everyone recommended Minja! She's an elder Asian lady but my god her strength of her pressure massage was like a man!!! I was hurting and told her too much pressure and she said next time get a relaxing massage lol. She put pressure where I needed most and the massage I got was full body and feet massage. I'm def coming back for Minja the ninja. She helped me so much that day to rid the neck pain and headache. The prices are great for one hour too! My only complaint about this place is the young girl working front desk was nice to me, but however her vibe she sent out wasn't. She took a call from another employee I believe asking her to look for a lost item and she expressed so much frustration that I can hear and sense it. She should perhaps handle that situation in the back and maybe smile a bit. Smiling don't hurt anyone :) but overall everyone was great and friendly. I highly recommend Mariam! Mariam has a wonderful demeanor, she is pleasant and professional, making sure you are totally comfortable. I have been to her twice now and both times she gave the most amazing massage! I added hot stone therapy to my last massage, her technique is to use the hot stones on your entire body, not just the back, which made a huge difference. Left feeling so relaxed. I was very excited to come and get a message after all the great reviews I found on Yelp. I came here on Christmas Eve with a few of my closest girlfriends. The place was as I expected very clean, the people was very friendly & professional, the room and message bed was nice along with the nice scented aroma and music. The message person was very friendly and told me to let her know if the message was too soft/painful. I got the relaxation message with back therapy. The price was pretty good 60 for 1hr. The person did an excellent job at first half which was mostly on my back, but after moving onto my legs and shoulders she put no pressure. Not sure why the change, but I assumed she was tired or something, so I didn't say anything. Overall, me and my friends were all satisfied, but I say the messages here are okay overall, not the best. read more

I have been coming to see Aileen since Nov 2013 and she is absolutely amazing!! I get a massage about once a month bc I have severe tension/knots in my upper shoulders. Aileen has magical hands that can work out every single knot!! she also helps me breathe through each knot and is very aware of where all the knots are - without me having to tell her. I got a value package during the holiday season and I find Bodycentre to be an incredibly well-maintained spa-like centre for the price - not to mention the amazing massages! It is also very clean and the beds have a warming blanket in case you get cold during the massage. I just got my last massage last week but am already waiting for next month to come again...I know that there are other amazing RMTs at this centre but that just speaks to the high quality of the massages you get here. Kim is amazing. I have requested her a couple of times and each time has been great. Kim has a very calming personality that relaxes you even before the massage. I normally get the full body deep tissue and she is very good about being firm without causing any pain. The facility is very small, if you blink you'll miss it but it is really nice and tranquil inside. The front desk is always personable and professional, I've never had an issue. Booked a pregnancy massage here with Chelsea. First of all the place is very relaxing. As soon as you walk in there is soft music playing, and nice ice cold water waiting. I was helped at the front desk by Chayla. She was very informative and helpful. She had me fill out forms and was able to answer questions I had. I have never had a professional massage before and I was pregnant so I had a lot to ask. Chayla had no problem answering my questions. She even recommended I run in to the bathroom so that I wouldn't have to go mid massage When I went into my massage I was greeted by Chelsea, she was also a very friendly person. Not only was she friendly, the massage she gave me was amazing. She had great touch. Very relaxing, time went by so fast and afterward I felt very refreshed and relaxed. When I headed back into the lobby Chayla offered me some water. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and any other yelp users.
