I casually mentioned that it was bad timing because I had a funeral to go too in Denver. He told go get something to eat while his crew looked to examine the damage. His crew sewed the bumper back into place. He charged me $86.00 and off I went. Thanks Crown. I was able to go to funeral in my own car.

In hindsight, it has been one of the worst decisions I've made concerning my automobile . Initially I was told by the estimator/service advisor the repairs would take three weeks, possibly four weeks at the most. This was due to the complexity in repairing a C8 corvette. My car was taken to Crown CouchWorks in mid March 2026. Today is August 26, 2026, my car is still not completed.So April,May, June, July now August have almost passed....5 months I've been waiting for the completion of three or four week minor repair. They have been paid over $10,000 by my insurance company in addition to another $1,000 that I have paid them. They collected 80% of these funds in March 2026. By my estimat,Body Shop technicians working on my car accounted for three of the five months. GM sending a defective passenger door panel added two weeks maybe 20 days. The Estimator/ service writer who was the lead on this job has for certain added a month and a half in delays. Countless trips to the shop voicing my concern have been met with, "we are working on it" to "the ones working on your car have called in sick"to "the Body Shop personnel working on your car both have quit" to " the owner of the company and I am personally going to come in and make sure your car gets finished" Finally the latest comment was" do what you Gotta do" This was in response to my demand that my car be returned to me immediately. although my.car was not completely repaired. I took of possession of it one week ago. They did say they would not release my car unless I paid $500 and sign a ridiculous statement stating that the car was not repaired correctly and they were not responsible for the consequences that could arise out of their not completing the work they contracted for.I did not sign it, I paid the $500 they demandedI to release my car. I do want to add this Crown CouchWorks specifically their Painter did a great job in the painting of the car and also the matching of the paint. I asked that the owner call me, and was hungup on by the estimator/service writer. Perhaps he will reach out to me when he reads this review. Fortunately, I have the resources to get my car repaired correctly, it is currently at the dealership where the car was purchased and advised it's going to cost me $490. I'm not angry at Crown ChoachWorks. Although I'm.I'm certainly disappointed. I don't know if anyone else has had an experience like this with this company, I hope not. It's great to read positive media coverage about the owners, but the media has failed to paint the whole picture of why they are successful. Has your truck broken down nearby? Their towing service is cheaper than the competition, but they charge unbelievably astronomical prices for their repair work (and parts) once they have you at the shop (where you have no other choice but to accept their rates).

It was a bit longer off the highway than I thought it would be. I think my navigator took me off the wrong exit at first cause when we left it was much closer to the get back on the road. The people in the front office and the repair guys were very nice. They have this German Shepard in the office that is very shy but seems sweet enough. Our check engine light was on. At first they said it would take until the next day to get it fixed. I told them we couldn't stay in this town. They said they would do what they could to get us back on the road. And they did! In a few hours we were back on our way to LA. They even called a few days later to check on us, mailed a thank you postcard to thank us for or service and sent us an email. Now however, they are sending emails weekly or biweekly. If you don't like a lot of junk emails, don't provide your email.

Would not recommend Macy's towing to my worst enemy. The hour and a half worth of sentry mode footage I recorded of him sitting in the tesla lot after dropping my vehicle sure makes him and macy's tow company look some kind of way.

Keith warned me about tire wear and what to watch out for with the alignment I went with and pointed me in the direction of alternatives to SCCA in the area My understanding is this is THE shop to go to for Miata owners and Miata is always the answer so regardless of the type of Miata you drive trust that Keith is going to hook you up. The work was done exactly as he described, though I was a little surprised at the price - $1800 for new struts/shocks, an alignment and tire rotation/balance, $700 of which was for parts, the rest for labor. Since I rarely take my truck to the shop, maybe I'm just out of touch on how much shop labor costs these days. Despite some sticker shock, I have no complaints: Keith was a pleasure to do business with. (One note: Keith charges a 4% service fee for credit cards, so if you want to avoid being surprised by a hefty service charge bring cash or check. He does not advertise this fee aside from a sign on the wall, and did not mention it until I noticed it on the invoice. So be ready for that.)
