I casually mentioned that it was bad timing because I had a funeral to go too in Denver. He told go get something to eat while his crew looked to examine the damage. His crew sewed the bumper back into place. He charged me $86.00 and off I went. Thanks Crown. I was able to go to funeral in my own car.

In hindsight, it has been one of the worst decisions I've made concerning my automobile . Initially I was told by the estimator/service advisor the repairs would take three weeks, possibly four weeks at the most. This was due to the complexity in repairing a C8 corvette. My car was taken to Crown CouchWorks in mid March 2026. Today is August 26, 2026, my car is still not completed.So April,May, June, July now August have almost passed....5 months I've been waiting for the completion of three or four week minor repair. They have been paid over $10,000 by my insurance company in addition to another $1,000 that I have paid them. They collected 80% of these funds in March 2026. By my estimat,Body Shop technicians working on my car accounted for three of the five months. GM sending a defective passenger door panel added two weeks maybe 20 days. The Estimator/ service writer who was the lead on this job has for certain added a month and a half in delays. Countless trips to the shop voicing my concern have been met with, "we are working on it" to "the ones working on your car have called in sick"to "the Body Shop personnel working on your car both have quit" to " the owner of the company and I am personally going to come in and make sure your car gets finished" Finally the latest comment was" do what you Gotta do" This was in response to my demand that my car be returned to me immediately. although my.car was not completely repaired. I took of possession of it one week ago. They did say they would not release my car unless I paid $500 and sign a ridiculous statement stating that the car was not repaired correctly and they were not responsible for the consequences that could arise out of their not completing the work they contracted for.I did not sign it, I paid the $500 they demandedI to release my car. I do want to add this Crown CouchWorks specifically their Painter did a great job in the painting of the car and also the matching of the paint. I asked that the owner call me, and was hungup on by the estimator/service writer. Perhaps he will reach out to me when he reads this review. Fortunately, I have the resources to get my car repaired correctly, it is currently at the dealership where the car was purchased and advised it's going to cost me $490. He was also throwing his workers under the bus. Then upon pickup, the battery was dead, and a few miles down the road to Firestone, we found out that the radiator was completely cracked. N & Y Towing had to come right back to pick up the vehicle, and had it for another month! We asked for invoices, and got excuses. Luckily, I made notes of the CASH sale price and the few rinky dinky things they tried to list on a piece of paper that was done. It still couldn't be driven because they sent us home with no windshield wiper reservoir. Marcos tried to tell us that his dealership couldn't find anywhere to order it. That ended up taking until January of 2025 where I decided to look it up myself. Walmart had it! Parts Geek had it! It was easily accessible. We took a chance & drove it into Santa Fe to have the head mechanic at Toyota install it, only for him to tell us that he couldn't due to the internal & outer structure of the vehicle being a complete mess. He took several photos to show the horrible situation. The Toyota mechanic initially thought that the frame was bent. So, I contacted Marcos to ask why his mechanic didn't tell us it was bent... because in April of 2024, his worker, Kevin, told us that they assessed the vehicle as not having a bent frame. We finally got it to an extremely credible frame mechanic shop who sent us over 20 photos of the dangerous work this guy did, putting our lives at stake. And get this: THE FRAME WASN'T BENT!!! I contacted Marcos the entire months of January and into February to show him all the photos & the neglectful work his employee did. He responded maybe once or twice on text & once on a phone call in which he told me that he had nothing to do with this guy... and it was going to be impossible to get any money back. Yet, ALL transactions were done through Marcos!!! This company has extremely expensive tow trucks. And we thought they were the real deal, as both a tow company & dealership. We are kicking ourselves in the butts for not checking them out first. And I know it may look like we're idiots, but trust me... Marcos made everything sound legit. Even so much as selling us a 2013 Denali in November of 2024 as a loaner for our tenants... as we were still waiting for him to get the part needed for our own vehicle. Only for them to take it to the MVD to register it and Marcos OR his Wife not owning the title to it!!! We are extremely intelligent people and all about GREAT VIBES... and as clear as day as it looks... we STILL got ripped off!!! Very disappointing. We thought he was a good guy. You know it's never a good situation when suddenly your car refused to start. I was stressed out…read moreand in a total shit moment when a used car that I bought suddenly decided not to start up again after it was working until the time I parked at a parking lot of a shop in center city ABQ. I called the car fixing company that I trusted (thanks to C&S Automotive) and after asking me some questions about what I could do for my car to see if it would start (it would not!), they recommended I get my car towed to their shop so they could help take a look....an that's when I looked up on Yelp and called InterCity Towing company. The operator was very kind and understanding. They took the time to politely answer the call, get some information (car type, pickup and drop off places) and give some estimates on what it might cost (REALLY reasonable by the way)...and time it would take to dispatch the towing truck to the place I got stucked (less than 30 min away by the way!). Before 30 minutes passed, Rusty showed up all smiley and friendly. He was quick to determine how to get my car out of the parking lot...let me be a kid to even play with his truck to up and tow my car onto his truck a bit..and poof..we were on the way to my preferred carshop. He was friendly (I learned he has been driving/towing for the past 17 years!!...and talked about some towing drives that he had to make interstate to Florida, etc, too...dang what a life!!!) and genuine and I was very happy I picked InterCity Towing and thankful that I had Rusty who was totally a sweetheart guy to help make me feel like my car situation was well taken care of.
