Always prompt and professional care for our two dogs. We've been going to Boerne vet clinic for several years now.

My dog died there under neglect of Dr. Tori Minor. First 2 calls she was fine, 3rd call they had put her asleep a second time to do dental work. Be careful how u review this vet, as sending her cards to remind of her sloppy work she did and how her staff also got the bill wrong upsets her. She must have friends in high places to have the Law enforcement drop by, when you don't even threaten someone. I personally was a victim of aggravated assault 2 years ago, both men captured the same day. Shockingly enough no special law enforcement treatment for me. No Detective knocking on their door. They don't even show for court and it's ok. So if you need someone with friends to go out in uniform with guns to say stop sending her cards you can't do that. That's postal Abuse! But if you are robbed and assaulted it's ok! Just remember it hurts her feelings to have dead animals she did not take care of brought up. Do not take your pet to this clinic I am sure they could even screw up euthanasia. read more

Great vets I think, but the management is another story. According to a recorded phone call in my possession they ban people for not agreeing with the mask mandate. The management is so far left that if they find your Facebook and see you don't agree with their Lord and Savior Fauci, they send you a letter banning you. If that's not crazy enough they even banned my sister because she has the same last name as me and told her on the phone "because your brother doesn't support masks". But that kind of insanity isn't the reason for this review. I had been trying to switch vets to Vet Ranch for a while now, not just because they are famous and actually patriots but because Boerne Vet Clinic has shown dishonest behavior that keeps pushing me away. While I love the vets and hands on staff there I keep finding that management and the behind-the-counter staff keep trying to swindle me out of money. I found a puppy on the highway and the staff at Boerne Vet Clinic spent 10 minutes trying to convince me to spend over $5,000 there to spay her and not to go across the street to Hill Country Animal League who would do it for $60. They did this by constantly bashing Hill Country Animal League and lying about them and the procedure, claiming they do it cruelly and without painkillers. My sister used to work there so I know this isn't true. They did this every time I came in until she was of age to get spayed - and then I took her to Hill Country Animal League. The staff at Boerne Vet Clinic treated me differently after that. I think out of all the dishonesty, the lowest they go is doubling your mediciation order and hoping you don't notice. It happens every single time. Not only is medication there extremely over priced, but the fact that every time I get it there I knew to check the bag and price before paying and "inform" them that they had "made a mistake" (again) and for some reason doubled the dang order. Even on heartworm prevention and flea and tick prevention. It's just shady. I would have been out sooner but Fair Oaks Vet said they weren't accepting new clients at the time I called, but a month later they were able to sign me and my sister up. Fair Oaks Vet Ranch runs a YouTube channel where they help animals with surgery and it's just so amazing, it's also co-owned by Demolition Ranch's Matt Carriker! His sister is the head vet there and he used to work there! read more

Amazing Vet, Amazing Service! I was frustrated with my old vet and looking for another one, when my sweet pup started developing a tumor. By the time we noticed it, we had an appointment with Boerne Vet Clinic for her already. They performed a biopsy that day and had the results in about 15 minutes. We scheduled surgery for the next week, and everything went very well. I was impressed with the speed of their care, cost, and bedside manner towards my dog. Highly recommend! read more

I adopted a cat, "Sunny" from the Kendall County Animal Shelter and they had Boerne Vet Clinic neuter him. The Boerne Vet Clinics doctors and the staff were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I will never go there again. Took my cat because he had a sticker up his nose. They barely paid attention to what I was saying. They were busy. So I took him back again and they gave him antibiotics which I am sure he needed but he also needed something done with the problem I brought him in for. They barely listened to what I was saying. Now you should see my cat. He has a bubble above his nose that has burst and been sneezing blood and pus. I have to take him to be put down but it won't be here. If you could only see my poor cat. He has blood and pus coming out of his nose and around his eyes. They charge a small fortune too. read more

My little dog is always happy when in the care of either Dr Rapp or Dr Arreola. She was well taken care of by them as a puppy when very ill. They made us feel like family. Today my husky went in for his yearly checkup and I couldn't be anymore satisfied with their services. My husky is a very energetic individual but with their professional help they were able to calm him down for his check up and they also gave me really good advice on how to calm him down. This Vet clinic has been taking care our fur babies so wonderful. From making regular visit to emergency calls, Receptionists are so friendly and always prompt to help you. Nurses are so gently and care so as Dr. Arreola. We had our cat hospitalized here for 5 days, Dr.Arreola keep give us details update everyday. After our cat was home, Dr Arreola still call to check on how is he doing. Even on the weekend. She really shows us how she cares her patient personally. Dr. Rapp is one of the most Humane Vet we know and would recommend him to anyone!!!! 2 years ago, we were out of town and our oldest son was taking care of our dogs. Our oldest, 14 year old female Mixed Shepard was having some serious issues and our regular Vet was also out of town and he recommended we take her to Dr. Rapp. My son took her in and was there for almost 4 hours deciding what we needed to do. Dr. Rapp called me personally on my cell at least 6 times, took several X-rays only to realize she had advanced Colon Cancer about 4 inches long. He called me and told me that it wouldn't matter if she was 1 year old and if we were Billionaires there was nothing that could be done to save her, so our son (all alone) had to have her put down. Dr. Rapp spent a lot of time consoling our son, and us (he could tell we were distraught and in tears every time he called us) while our Beautiful, Awesome Sammy went to heaven. When we got back, we went to pick-up our dear Sammy's Ashes (we had her cremated with Bluebonnet Pet Crematorium). I asked to Speak to Dr. Rapp. He came out to meet me and we both broke down and cried. By far the best vet in Boerne - Dr. Rapp has provided the best and most personalized care I've ever received in my 30 yrs. of dealing with veterinarians in Boerne and San Antonio. He provided outstanding care for our aging Chesapeake Bay Retriever with his allergies, arthritis and extended his life to 14 healthy years. Dr. Rapp has been our family vet since 2008. He and the girls are wonderful and know all of my 6 dogs by name. We own bulldogs, which are very prone to health issues, so it seems we are in there at least once every other week. He could bleed us dry with all the visits and issues we have but I know he is beyond gracious with the prices he gives us. My main praise is in the treatment we have received for our little girl Stella, a French Bulldog. Stella was born from my older French bulldog female and right out of the gate had major health issues. She was born with hydrocephalus and really should not have lived past the first 48 hours. We brought her in when she was 2 days old with brain swelling and he shook his head, gave her an injection and sent us home to be "comfortable". I was resigned to the fact that we were going to lose her and that there was nothing to be done. Later that day Dr. Rapp called saying he just "couldn't let it go" and had spent the afternoon researching different treatments and wanted to at least try to do something. We were there every day for almost two weeks getting special injections and other treatments (she weighed only a few ounces and he was able to find veins on her tiny little body!). She is now 8 months old and has no more swelling. She has continued to be a "special needs" puppy, and a frequent patient at the clinic, but she is the joy of our family and I cannot thank Dr. Rapp and the girls for never giving up on us, or her. They truly care about us and our dogs. We will never go anywhere else with our pets! read more
