My irrigation valve off of my main water line right near my meter had been leaking very slowly for quite some time. Just this weekend, my sprinkler valve was leaking so I turned off the irrigation valve so that I could replace the sprinkler head. Upon completing that job myself, I went to turn on my irrigation main and it was leaking much more than it was before. I decided that it was time for me to replace it so I headed down to Home Depot for some supplies. It took me some effort to figure out the routing and sizing of each PVC cut but ultimately, the fitting off towards my main line came off and I didn't want to mess with it anymore. Having my water to my house completely off with a house full of family was a bit stressful. I started calling around for emergency plumbers and luckily came across Sal Cal Plumbing and Drain. They were local to my area and I decided to give them a call. Juan immediately answered my call and asked me a few questions about the issue I was having. He then said that he'd be here within 30 mins. He arrived on time and went straight to work before ever quoting me anything. Called Juan for several issues we had in our upstairs bathroom. Had a slow leak from the toilet coming from the connector. Also had issues with the shower lever that stopped midway at the hot water. Possibly a new cartridge is needed. However, the Allen screw on the lever was stripped & cutting through it was the only way to to remove it. The tub spout diverter was calcified, preventing water to come out of the shower head, so another issue. Juan asked me to text a picture of the shower handle to see if had a similar part. He made an appointment to come the next morning and was prompt. He had all the necessary parts & items to complete the job. His quote was very reasonable and got things done in less time. He also installed the bidet T-adapter that needed to be attached since he replaced the tank fill valve connector.
