    Packaged 1lb of shrimp.
    Elizabeth D.

Just ordered for pick up around 8pm on a Monday night. Saw their Happy Hour all day ad on insta. .. So glad I did! Prices seemed too good to pass up. We've dined in before but that was a long time ago & I couldn't recall the experience. Anyhow, husband made some bomb sticky rice the day before and since we had no ideas for what to make tonight, this sounded like a great solution! I highly recommend this deal! I ordered the 1lb head on shrimp. Daddy sauce. Mild. It was perfectly cooked and very tasty. At first I thought it was too spicy, after a few, I realized it was the perfect amount of spice. The portion was plentiful. Husband had the fish po' boy with garlic fries and said it was great. Total was $31 including tax.

I haven't had seafood boil in years and was craving it. My SIL told me about Boil Daddy, the newest crab boil restaurant out here. The inside was small and there's only two workers-- a cashier and a cook. This place is very casual, and the prices were very reasonable. The orders came really fast despite us ordering a lot of food. The food was good, the daddy sauce is a must. My mom didn't like the cajun sauce with the shrimp but do what you will with that information. We also had a miscommunication while ordering, however the waitress offered an explanation and helped us order what we were missing. The only downside is that the seafood is frozen, but for the price you're getting good value for what you're paying.

This is so little and underwhelming and cost me over $53!

I ordered through Door Dash. One meal of 1/2 lb of shrimp, 1/2 mussels, sausage, boiled eggs, & sausage with a side of rice cost me approx. $53! I thought it be very expensive. Mild spice is actually super spicy. I thought this place is super expensive. I think I didn't get the value of what I paid for.

4th time coming here seems they have changed owners.. the place is decorative inside with lights and good 80s music playing. My wife and I got the king crab legs and peeled shrimp.. both 10/10.. the flavor was sooo good!!! The service was fast... definitely coming back for their happy hour..

Noodles with shrimp and corn on the cob

First time here. I ordered noodles with shrimp and w Cajun sauce. And a size order of corn on the cob. Service excellent. Ambiance , it was tuesday afternoon not busy. The corn cobs were excellent and first class. I ordered mild spicy. They have other levels of spicy

We had an amazing dinner at Boil Daddy! We all enjoyed the crab boil and wings and got to enjoy sitting outside on a beautiful fall night. Logan was great! He was attentive and sweet and was extremely accommodating. So glad we were able to come in and enjoy such a delicious family meal.

West of Orleans is the real deal; an institution that meets, excels, devastates all notions of what Cajun/Creole/BBQ cuisine can or should accomplish to stand out amongst the rest of the competition. And with how high they stand, all should recognize. With a menu as expansive as most, West of Orleans manages to offer their patrons all of the classics seen with most other restaurants of the same variety, but with so much more... But onto the food. It's true to its word. Fresh, delicate, light, harmonious in every sense of the word. Flavorful beyond flavor. The PoBoy was delicious, as the shrimp popped, the remoulade sauce incredible, tangy and sweet but not overpowering. The Jerk Chicken Mac-n-Cheese was the perfect pair between savory and succulence. Not too spicy, not too smoky, just enough of everything. The macaroni held up its half of the bargain as well. Currently planning my next experience here. Stay tuned.

From the moment you walk in, that amazing smell hits you like no other! Marcus, the owner, treated us like you're a regular, even on our first visit. Marcus was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited about the menu. And the food? Absolutely next level. Marcus gave us samples of the chicken gumbo and from the moment it touched my tongue, I was sold. I got a 32 ounce Gumbo and let me tell you, it was plenty. Everything was perfectly seasoned and packed full with some much pride and flavor. You could tell Marcus and his wife are passionate about their business and the product they're putting out. In addition to the chicken gumbo, I got the cornbread with the honey butter. Let me tell you something, I must've died and went to heaven. One of my friends' grandmothers made corn bread back in the day and this made me think of those times. The cornbread wasn't dry and the honey butter just amplified it to the next level. My friends got the brisket po'boys and they were blown away by the flavor. The sandwich was packed full of brisket and was seasoned to perfection. We will definitely be back for another round as this was the best meal we've had in a while. Thank you Marcus!

Extremely disturbing, unsanitary, and unprofessional experience…read more While I was eating at this restaurant, I suddenly realized there were ants all over the seat and the area where I was sitting. There were so many that they actually got onto me and inside my clothing. I believe I was even bitten. I immediately jumped up and started trying to get the ants off me, and I actually had to take off my shirt because ants had gotten inside it. What happened next made the situation even more upsetting. As soon as the employee saw what was happening, she quickly came over and started cleaning the seat before I could properly take pictures showing how many ants were there. Even after she cleaned the area, there were still ants on the seat, and I was able to take pictures of them. I explained how serious and uncomfortable the situation was and specifically asked to speak with the manager. The manager did not even come out to speak with me. Instead, the employee told me that I could tell her what I wanted to say and she would tell the manager for me. I find that extremely unprofessional. If a customer is complaining that ants from your seating area got onto their body and inside their clothes, the very least a manager could do is come out and speak to the customer directly. Their solution was to tell me that they could give me food to go. However, I was there for the all-you-can-eat option, so telling me to take food to go was not an appropriate solution. After discovering ants crawling on me and inside my clothing, I obviously did not feel comfortable sitting back down and continuing to eat. I understand that problems can happen at any restaurant, but how you handle the problem matters. There was no manager willing to come speak with me, no reasonable resolution was offered, and I felt like the situation was being brushed aside instead of taken seriously. I have pictures showing ants that were still on the seating area even after the employee cleaned it. This was an extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable experience, and the lack of professionalism from management made it even worse. Based on my experience with both the cleanliness of the seating area and the way my complaint was handled, I would absolutely not recommend this location.

I stopped in to grab takeout for my husband and me and was told the order wouldn't take long. The server was helpful and answered all my questions, so I felt good about the order: clam chowder, half-order lemon pepper wings, a catfish dinner with an extra side of shrimp, and grilled salmon with two sauces on the side (and cooked medium). After waiting 45 minutes--which already felt excessive for this order--I decided to check the food. I'm glad I did. The salmon was overcooked (well done instead of medium) with the sauce already poured on top. The lemon pepper wings had barely any seasoning, like it was added after they were already dry. And they completely forgot the shrimp. The server took everything back to fix it, but that took another 30 minutes. By then, my husband's catfish (and for $19, you only get one filet) and his cheddar side were cold, and the Caesar salad was wilted and warm. When the salmon finally came back--after another 20 minutes--it was still overcooked, now rock hard, and completely unseasoned. It felt like they were relying on sauce to do all the work, but even that missed the mark. The shrimp also tasted like pre-packaged frozen, not fresh. Nearly $90 later, we didn't enjoy any part of the meal. I'd suggest sticking to the boil if you come here, because based on this experience, everything else fell short.

This was an absolutely great lunch!!…read more I ordered a Catfish Po'Boy combo with the Jambalaya, and while it seems a little spendy for a sandwich--it is absolutely worth it. For one, the sandwich was clearly made to-order, with crisp, hot, and well-seasoned catfish. It was also large enough to split (which I absolutely did not do). The jambalaya was pleasantly spice-forward and very tender. While I waited, Marcus and Ray hooked me up with tastes of the gumbo and red beans and rice. I am definitely going to need a full order of those red beans and rice next time I come--the ham hock in there was especially smoky and delightful. It took about 15 minutes to make the sandwich, so I suppose if you're in a huge rush, I'd probably call ahead, but since I wasn't, I got to enjoy the music and the samples to my heart's content. It's really great to see something new to Santa Clarita, and this is really executed quite well, with attention to details like good bread and pickles.
