What a find! This restaurant is located in what I'd describe as a mini food hall, with other shops to choose from. We were particularly in the mood for something like kickin kasian, but this spot doesnt have the long wait time or the heartburn you feel after enjoying your meal. Dont get me wrong, the food was still flavorful. My suggestion is to get a menu, claim a table, and the place your order at the counter. When I went, there was only 1 order taker. He didnt give us a number to place on our table (the place was that small). Your table will get a paper cover over it and you can request for gloves and a bib.. Ordering is pretty straightforward: 1) Pick your choice of seafood (half and by the pound). Limited options when its by the half. 2) Select sauce. I did the crab mentality which mixes it all together 3 select spice level. The mild had a good subtle kick for me but incredibly hot had an extra zip Meals were served to us in less than 15 minutes. Overall, we enjoyed our meals. Calamrari and fries appetizer had a nice crunchy bite. And i was happy i got to substitute the fries for cajun ones. The fisherman's half bounty had the best balance of different seafood options. But I did not like my oysters that I ordered. Well some had this great flavor and than others had a fishy taste to it. It was a little disconcerting. The peeled shrimp was cooked perfectly with good flavor from the sauce. I did add some lemon juice to mine just cause I like it more lemony. You get a good serving of food for the price, compared to other spots. They dont have many drink options, but like I said, its a food hall. So I just got some boba from a spot next door. We have dined here about 5 times already. Their sauce is pretty good. Not sure why they don't have anything in the display anymore. Would be nice and could bring in more customers. First time coming here and it looks fantastic. The menu is big but same with the prices that come with it. But it's seafood. Is it better than boiling crab and kicking Cajun, or how about crab shack? It is similar and well, I would say no but it is the same. I ordered the jumbo squid which came to $12.90 for the entire thing and boy was it good. It had alot of flavor, sweet sugary teriyaki flavor and high cholesterol, but it was really kicking. The other item was shared, it was a mild Cajun garlic shrimp pot which came with butter and potatoes. It also came with fat that was added to my belly. The price for the shrimp pot was about $20. Let me tell you, it still had the black stuff that you get inside the shrimp. They didn't clean it or cut off the head which was disappointing. The flavors were fattening and tasty. It was like I gained a couple inches below my chin of fat, the double chin. Parking outside is nice and the overall food court inside island pacific super market is nice and convenience is cool. The tables are uncomfortable and the service is great. The only negative is the pricetag and the fat. I recommend to come just because it is inside the Filipino food mart supermarket and give it a try. The wallet will bleed, but the mouths will water. Totally ripped off!!! My third time here. I hate leaving bad reviews, but unfortunately, lack of customer service is why I'm posting this. I ordered a pound of mussels, but the bag felt much lighter. I weighed it and got a reading of 0.15 pounds. it was a rip-off, but I thought it might have been a mistake, so I called the restaurant and explained the situation, but it was unbelievable how they reacted. I was told my scale was inaccurate. I sent photos as proof, only to be told that my scale was different from the one they used. I also purchased a pound of shrimp and a pound of clam, which all weighed a little over a pound with sauce. I sent photos showing my scale measuring the correct weight of unopened grocery products I had in my kitchen, but the only answer I got was that my scale was different from what they had, which made no sense to me. I loved the food the first time buying (takeout) my fave fried oysters and fries which were absolutely delicious and fried to perfection and thought that I'd found my new go to seafood spot. However, my second time getting the fried oysters was a total bust and I wished that I inspected my takeout before leaving the restaurant. My oysters were burnt and I couldn't even salvage one to eat, but the sweet potato fries were done to perfection. The deception turned me off from attempting to purchase from this spot for fear of losing $$ on another burnt entrée! read more

Flavor was excellent, we got the Crab Mentality mix with a side of garlic butter for dipping. Payed $102.00 with the extras and two drinks. I don't mind paying for quality food. Quality was on point quantity was lacking. Description says 3 corn cobs, 6 sausages, and served with potatoes. We got 2 corn cobs, 3 sausages and NO POTATOES. And only got 1/2 lb of crab, and the smallest of the "King crab" legs . They were snow crab size. And TONS of shrimp and mussels .. they thought maybe I wouldn't notice that they charged me extra for crab that I never got ? Check your bag of seafood before you leave! read more

Not exactly like The Boiling Crab but still just as good. We ordered takeout: 1lb of shrimp + sausage + corn on the cob / crab rice / garlic noodles / side of white rice. We got the shrimp with Crab Mentality Special sauce Mild which had a nice flavor with a bit of sweetness but wasn't spicy enough for us. So next time we'll know to get the next step up to Incredibly Hot. We ordered a side of extra sauce and thankfully we did because had we not, it wouldn't have been enough. I was able to finish the entire lb of shrimp and could have had more. The shrimp were nicely sized but did have lots of veins which other Yelpers mentioned but didn't really bother me much. The crab rice was pretty 'crabby'. The garlic noodles were good too but not as garlicky as I'd like it but it's my personal taste. It definitely satisfied my cravings and we will be back! read more

This place was a miss for me. My boyfriend and I were in the area so we stopped by this place to get some crab and shrimp. My Dungeness crab came out with both claws missing. It was a disappointment. Their house sauce was pretty garlic-y and buttery. The crab was boiled well. It tasted fresh despite the two missing claws. The shrimp was mediocre. It was nothing special.
